Jim and all his guys are superstars to me. Extremely punctual, Very fair pricing, Professional handing & packing all furniture, appliances, breakables into their truck. Very fast & efficient. They took 2 loads to the new house and 1 load to a storage room. Each one when perfectly. I would absolutely use them again and give them the highest recommendation. ~David

Although extremely nice, they seemed to have never moved anyone before. They showed up 30 minutes late, they did call at the time they were supposed to arrive to let me know. They damaged a wall bringing in my couch - which took almost 30 minutes. I had to tell them it would fit because I have moved this couch over 8 times since I've had it 15 years into smaller quarters and they quickly got it in then. They also broke a picture frame. If you're looking for nice and cheap, I think they are a good option.

These folks are awesome movers. Our team of three arrived exactly on time and went to work immediately. They were pleasant as well as extremely careful with all of our expensive belongings. They shrink wrapped the sofa. They put blankets on everything that needed protection. They boxed up paintings. They did everything as quickly and professionally as anyone could possibly want or expect. They took no breaks and a quick lunch. They worked until 6:30 PM, made two trips, and dropped off and set up a bed and mattress set at another location. They also packed our belongings in our warehouse with great efficiency and speed. The front office staff handled everything by phone, she was cordial, extremely efficient and very friendly with personality and needed reassurance that all would be well. She gave practical advice about how to contain costs. She was as first rate as the movers. The cost was almost ridiculously inexpensive. If you use these guys, tip them handsomely because they deserve it! Helping Hands knew exactly what they were doing and I would recommend them to anyone. Hands down, Helping Hands is the best moving experience we've ever had by far.

these movers are fast and efficient. I have used them on two occasions. once was to unload a 25ft truck and the other was to move from one location to the next. both times the drivers communicated prior to them showing up. my move was delayed die to weather and tjem being backed up, but I did call them a few days before the move and they were able to squeeze me in. i would definetly use again if I had to. I also like the fact that they dis not charge my card before the move like some others wanted to do.

I hired Helping Hands of Saint Augustine for a move. At first, the 3 men were nice, introduced themselves, and started to work upon arrival. The contract was signed and the owner, Israel, was also there. The rates were a bit confusing and Israel talked fast, but I wanted to make sure I understood what the total amount would be. He began to question me several times, "do you have enough money? Are you sure?" I assured him it would be no problem. The 2 other men kept moving boxes and furnitures, but it wasn't long before Israel made rude comments. He said, "did you know you were going to move today? Can you make the dogs be quiet? Why didn't you take down the beds?" My dogs were crated and out of the way. My daughter and I were not responsible for taking apart the beds.. the moving company was. I found these questions rude and unnecessary. I moved into my bedroom to take off a mattress pad to make sure I could find it at the new location. Israel moved by me quickly, hitting my arm with a lamp. He said I was getting in his way. I continued to pick up the mattress pad and he lifted the mattress, which slid and hit me against the wall. This hurt my back against the wall and my knee against the mattress. I was stunned. This made me very upset, so I said I would call the owner. Israel then said "to do what?" because he is the owner, which I didn't know. My daughter told him politely to be careful because I just had a knee replacement a couple months ago. At this point, we were both upset, but trying to remain calm. Israel then got very angry, shouting in our faces, and told the other 2 men to unload the truck. We asked him not to, to just complete the job as stated in the contract. Israel had his men leave ALL of our belongings.. furniture, clothes, boxes of priceless pictures, fragile items, everything.. on the sidewalk in front of our apartment building. There was no way my daughter or myself could bring everything back in and it was getting cloudy, looking like rain. Within minutes, the truck was gone. They didn't say another word. Israel said that we were "tripping," though we had said or done nothing wrong. We simply wanted the job finished without any more issues. I called Helping Hands' office and the receptionist was shocked. She said they never get complaints, but there was nothing she could do. Israel was out of control. We felt scared and defenseless because he was acting so angry and irrational to unload everything off the truck and leave. This all happened so fast after I was hit by the mattress. The owner of Helping Hands Jacksonville was kind enough to come a few hours later to bring our items inside. He apologized for his nephew, Israel. I learned the next day Israel has also been violent with an ex girlfriend within the last week and many times before. This should make anyone considering this company (Saint Augustine location) be extremely weary of hiring a man who has been physically hurting a woman, then made an awful scene in a customer's home. I would AVOID at all costs. DO NOT hire this company. Unreliable, did not get the job done, hurt me without an apology, criminal, and unstable. This man should not be responsible for entering people's homes or running a business. In response to office manager's comment: The facts of the mover's unprofessionalism and hurting a customer during a move are accurate and it's a shame you would encourage someone to remove a review.
