This is my second move with J&R... they once again were great! They are fast and efficient and got the job done in a timely manner. I had a little issue but I contacted Vivian and they resolved it for me immediately. I said in my last review that I would use them again if I had a local move... I feel this way 100% still.

These movers ripped me off by sitting on their rear ends and running the bill up when moving a small storage unit that took me 30 mins to unload. Took them 3.5 hours and of course after 3 hours the price goes up. Do not use this company!

I have moved many times and used many different moving companies. I can't say that I have ever had such a disastrous experience as I did with them. I've attached all the text messages which started with them showing up late because they had a flat tire the day before. Even though I was very thorough in my information regarding the number of rooms I had they ended up going to rent a pull behind. It took them almost 10 hours to load 3 bedrooms. Of course somehow they had plenty of rooms for the items I gave away. They said they were skilled in mounting TV's so I trusted they knew what they were doing but instead because they didn't know what they were doing they ripped the mounts off the wall and I actually had to bring a company in to replace the drywall after their destruction. They finally showed up at my new house and it took them 3 hours to drive what should have been 1 1/2 hrs because guess what, ANOTHER FLAT TIRE ON THEIR OLD BEATUP TRUCK. John was screaming at his helpers, throwing my items out of the truck and cussing so bad I had to have my son go out back to the patio. They beat up my walls, broke my TV, lost shelves, broke the stone off of my entertainment center and cracked the glass on my washer. When I asked multiple times for the name of the company that holds their bond they ignored me. Always ask for that up front. The next day when they contacted me about replacing the TV john got irate with me and I have a recording of him stating "I'm just complaining because I didn't want a black man in my house". He's dangerous and has a very short fuse. Also, his wife showed up with them with her daughter in tow and "hung out" at my house. When the other reviewer stated there was a smoke odor coming from the truck that resembled something other than cigarettes I don't doubt it. Unfortunately they didn't smoke enough to keep John from having a temper tantrum in front of my house. I'm still working on getting my pound of flesh from them. They refused to accept responsibility for anything. The only resolve they offered was to replace my TV for a different model and then tell me mine was probably already broken. I have 4 TV's I have no need to lie to get another one. These people should NOT be running a business. STAY AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE. ALSO, all the good reviews were from companies that pay to provide fake reviews.

These guys were awesome!!! My boyfriend and I were nervous about our move from our smaller two story town house in South Tampa to a single family home in Ruskin, but Viviane really put our minds at ease. The quote she gave me was spot on. The two guys arrived on time and gave me a 15 minute heads up that they were on their way, and even though they were young they were professional and worked quickly! They took apart furniture, wrapped everything, and got everything safely to the new house. Definitely would recommend to any of my friends who are moving!

John, Elijah and Anthony did an awesome job with our office move. Energetic and positive throughout a very hot day! Took great care of our office equipment and furniture. Highly recommend J&R Moving!
