From my husband : South Florida Van Line delivers in more ways than one. A reasonable time and cost estimate was provided by Robert. Courteous and careful packing and moving services were provided by the team led by Prospero. There was only one minor oops by the crew, which was fixed on the spot by Prospero. We highly recommend South Florida Van Line. From me: I meet with 6 moving company's. Robert told it like it was. I had a lot of things and it was a 2 day move. He suggested get rid of what I didn't want before the move. I took his advise. He called before, during, and after the move a few times ....He was fantastic. This was the first move I ever did with such a great crew and company. Please ask for there post card. It lists all the things you should consider when doing a move and picking the right company. Google me... I'm a real person Wendy Salpeter Reverse and Forward Mortgage LO. I recommend them. So much could go wrong that didn't ! They wrap everything in blankets even the legs of the furniture . Everyone on the crew was very respectful towards us. We kept them hydrated, feed and we tipped them nicely but we were never ever ever asked for any of these items. Some movers have asked about tips before they start !!! Please have Robert come out for an estimate And the job ! I know you won't be disappointed ... again google me and read my reviews on Yelp. I'm for real, not all the reviews you read are real. One company even reviewed them selfs ! I did 4 days of research .... glad I did. Good luck !!!!

I had a great experience with South Florida Van Lines. I had hired other companies in the past and they were very bad. The men were very nice, professional and punctual. Marie was very helpful over the phone.

We moved exactly one week ago and overall South Florida van lines did exactly what you would expect from a moving company, they moved our stuff from one home to another. The guys showed up promptly at 9am as scheduled, and went to work immediately packing up a few pieces of furniture in protective padding and loading up boxes. I had called the company a week or two prior to inquire about the size of the truck after a friend used another company and ended up having to make two trips. I was assured the truck was quite large enough and that we'd only have to make one trip. After an hour into the move, I had asked one of the guys "Will all this fit?", and he said it would, insisting there'd be no problem. Sure enough 30 minutes later everything stopped, the truck was full. It took almost 2 hours to get a 2nd truck to the home, during which time they guys continued to stage the other boxes and wrap a few remaining furniture pieces. The 2nd truck arrived and we were packed and left the home. Unpacking at the new home was a breeze, only a few boxes ended up in the wrong room. Of our entire house, only 2 pieces appear damaged. One was a glass insert for a table that they noticed as soon as they unwrapped it. Another was a ceramic figurine that was packed by us in a box. They are currently getting a new piece of glass cut for the table. I'm not worried about the ceramic figure it wasn't important. The cost for the move was right on the estimate, and it took the guys a total of about 8 hours, the estimate was for 9. I think perhaps had they done a better job of estimating the boxes and furniture we could have been done in 5-6 hours and the cost might have come down some, but all in all it wasn't a bad move, and I'd use them again if I ever need to move or recommend someone. EDIT: I'm taking away one star here since it's now been almost 4 months and I have STILL yet to receive my table top replacement. I keep getting excuse after excuse, mostly aim'd at the person who packed the glass (Evidently it's his fault and he has to pay for it per the companies policy I guess), and while he seems like he's trying, he's broken 2 replacements enroute, and one was the wrong size. The original move experience still stands, they are a decent company, but I hope you don't have anything broken, they apparently don't stand behind their employees.

We moved to our new home on 06/22/2013. The movers seemed nice and very helpful, but then one of the men (Victor) began mentioning his desire for beer. We offered water, which they took; however, they stopped for approximately 30 minutes between houses to pick up beer to drink en route. They seemed otherwise acceptable and careful. Several items of furniture didn't fit in our home--so we offered them those items which they took. Apparently we weren't generous enough as we have noticed multiple clothing items are missing totaling approximately $500. We contacted the van line and the customer service agent offered no recourse other than to say their employees wouldn't do such a thing...etc...and that missing items generally turn up. Well, as more and more items turn up missing, I feel that this company should be reported to prevent other trusting individuals from being exploited. NONE of the items were ever found--because they were stolen. I have never been more disappointed with a mover--and I have moved many times (literally all over the country). I cannot discourage their use enough.
