Me and my girlfriend moved from Florida to San Diego (California). It was our first interstate move experience and to be honest I was very scared of being scammed. But everything went smooth from my first conversation with sales representative to the delivery from door to door. Unfortunately I had to pay a little extra for what's called "shuttle service" because as a driver explained to me that 18-wheeler could not fit into our neighborhood which is true so it is what it it. Once again thank you all guys for being such a great team.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! If you sign up for Moving.com or another site like that, they will be the first to call and you'll get what seems to be a competitive offer, from a competent account advisor. Unfortunately, once you sign on with a non-refundable deposit, the service goes to crap. The quote is based on volume not weight, which means that you are accountable for how much space it takes in the truck. For boxes this is fine, but anything that doesn't stack like exercise equipment or a glass front curio cabinet, you pay for the floor to the ceiling. So there is that price escalator that hits at the end that in our case was 150% of the quoted amount. Which was more than using Bekins, North America or another more reputable company. They didn't let me know it would be a direct move until the day before. So they are going to pack and load on Saturday and unload at the destination the next day. This would have been useful to know in advance. They do not answer phone calls on the day of the move, arrive three hours late with a clown crew of unskilled Russian dudes, having brought insufficient supplies to safely pack materials, and start using your couch cushions and the pillows from your bed in place of bubble wrap. They then leave at 9:30 pm to drive six hours from Los Angeles to Phoenix to deliver the next morning at 6 am, except the second guy isn't there so one person is trying to unload hastily packed items into the house for an hour. With a company that uses logistics in their name, they were shockingly clueless. I cannot warn enough against these jokers. I have moved four times, and can honestly say they are the worst.

Unfortunately, I am in the same boat as many of these 1 and 2 star reviewers. I picked 24/7 based on their Consumer Reports rating. That was a mistake. My move out (moving from CA to IL) was relatively painless and the 3rd party movers they got to wrap and load out my furniture were actually great. Very thorough, conscientious and professional. But once the truck left, that's when things went downhill. My first available move-in date was May 31. If it were my company, I would call the customer a week out or at least a few days to say the move-in was not going to happen on the date specified and then give me a reasonable estimate as to when the move will be happening. Instead, I received zero phone calls from 24/7. Day after day I called the company to ask when my stuff was going to arrive. Most of the time I had to leave a message and never heard back. Once in a while, I'd get a callback from the coordinator in the main office saying they had no information for me and had no idea when my stuff would be coming. Each time, these calls ended with the coordinator saying she'd call the CA movers and get back to me. That never happened. I always had to call again to get the information. Very frustrating. I had a family vacation planned at the very tail end of the 21 day move-in window and sure enough, I get a call that they want to deliver the day after I leave the country. So I have to wait until I get back and start the process all over again. That part was not their fault. It was just unfortunate timing. To add to the fun, my mom got very ill when we got back from our vacation and I was with her in the ICU when the movers called to say they were in town and asked if I could be there to receive my stuff that day. They did NOT call a day in advance like the company claims is their policy on other yelp reviews. They called the morning of the delivery. Since I'd been waiting well over a month for my stuff I said yes, I would meet them at 2PM to receive it. I didn't have that much stuff so I figured it would take 2-3 hours and I could get back to the hospital that night. I drove 40 minutes to my apartment and waited. 2PM came and went. At 2:20 I called them. They said they were running late. 20 minutes. 2:40 came and went. I called them. This time, they said their truck had broken down and they were just finishing up fixing it. They'd be there in 20 minutes. 3PM came and went.... This went on and on. They arrived 2 hours late and 55 days after the initial first move-in day (16 days of that was my vacation). Luckily, they didn't charge me extra storage fees, which I'm grateful for. The 3rd party movers they hired to move my stuff in were way less professional than the first movers. Plus they told me they were not really a moving company. Just dudes with a truck that got hired out to haul stuff. This was obvious as they banged my furniture around trying to get it into the freight elevator, even stacking things so precariously on the carts that several times my items came crashing down. Two antique furniture items were damaged. To be fair, it was mainly the "foreman" who was gentle as a hurricane. The other guy was nice and seemed to care a bit more. So in the end, I got all my stuff but it took way longer than I'd hoped and was generally a pain in the ass. Overall, my biggest beef is that this company's communication is simply terrible. There are easy ways to put a customer's mind at ease and they did none of them: Update the customer frequently, even if you don't have good news, and make sure they know to read all the fine print of the move (it is VERY fine), especially regarding the timing and extra fees. It's there, but they certainly don't make a point of telling you about it like they do about all the details of the move-out. They were very thorough about that part. 24/7 Logistics: People are entrusting you with all their possessions in the world. When you don't communicate, it's frustrating and leads people to worry about the legitimacy of your company. Potential customers: If you do go with 24/7 Logistic Services, allow a LOT of time. Read every single syllable of that contract. Know that your stuff will be transferred several times from truck to truck. Your movers are contracted out. The move will take you much longer than you think or hope it will, and you may incur damage, so pack your things well. But if I were you, I'd just find a different moving company.

First, I would l like to corroborate the testimonials of other negative reviews as all of our experiences are eerily similar. On first contact, the agent is personable, accommodating, and helpful. This is by design: to get the customer comfortable enough to trust the company. What follows is an endless cycle of deceit, customer blaming, fraud, and, ultimately, theft. When I first contacted 24/7 Logistics, I was "helped" by Jason. I was moving from New York City (Manhattan) to Las Vegas. I was moving a very small amount of things - mostly boxes, artwork, and a coffee table. I had no large items to transport - beds, couches, dressers etc. Because of the small load size, I was told they would wave the stair fee for my items. This is the first step in their bait and switch scheme. They present themselves as allies to the customer and arbitrarily wave fees so it appears they are doing you a "favor" and that they are effectively "on your side". My things were picked up and loaded onto a small box truck and taken off by the movers with little to no hassle. That's when things began to go downhill. And how! My earliest delivery date was for June 22nd. I made the move to Las Vegas to start a new job which I began immediately upon my arrival. I called 24/7 Logistics repeatedly, asking them for some kind of time frame for delivery, given that I am the only person who could accept the delivery and was starting a new job. None of the representatives I spoke with could give me even a ballpark time it would take to get there. No tracking number available. No information. Nothing. This is information they could have easily provided me, however, that is also part of their grift: ensuring you will not be available so they can incur the costs of overnight holding - at the expense of the customer. I contacted Jason repeatedly using two different email addresses and never got a response. Finally, two additional weeks after my arrival in Las Vegas, I was contacted by 24/7 Logistics informing me that they would be delivering my things the next day. I was also informed that it would be an additional $200 for two flights of stairs (a fee that was initially waved by Jason) and an extra $400 to load my belongings onto a smaller truck if my apartment complex could not accommodate an eighteen wheeler. Keep in mind, my belongings were picked up in a small box truck. There is no logical reason that they should have been put on an eighteen wheeler, only to have them put back on a smaller truck - at my expense. On top of that, delivery had to be paid in cash or with a cashiers check. None of this information was communicated to me until the DAY before delivery. Classic bait and switch. I was unable to receive the delivery at their specified time seeing as I am a single woman, in a new city, who recently began a new job I cannot simply abandon at the whims of an incompetent moving company. They said the latest they could deliver my belongings was 4 pm, to which I complied. I should also mention that through my own threats of legal action and bad publicity regarding 24/7, the fees in question were waved, albeit through many, many, arduous phone calls and emails. As 4 pm rolled around, the movers informed me that they would be a bit late. Come 7 pm, the movers texted me that they were still 100 miles away. They arrived at 9 pm (five hours late) in an eighteen wheeler that they had to park 1/4 of a mile from my apartment. I was told they could "carry" my things to my apartment - a task that would have easily taken until midnight. Again, I am a single woman, living alone in a new city, and I am not necessarily comfortable with having strange men in my apartment late at night. I called 24/7 Logistics about this issue and heard nothing back. On top of all of this, given the small amount of items I had, a painting appraised at $5,000 has mysteriously gone missing. I have reached out to file a claim and, you guessed it, I have heard nothing back. Now for the employees and administration. I'd like to start by saying that the men who did the actual moving were very competent and congenial. Upon delivery, it became painfully obvious that they are victims of circumstance and regularly field the ire of customers who were swindled by this awful company. I wish these men no ill will and this review should not be a reflection of their diligent work. That said, look no further than the administrative responses to customer complaints and ask yourself if this is a company you are willing to trust with your time, money, and belongings. Every representative I spoke with met me with passive aggressiveness and a complete unwillingness to help or honor previously recorded agreements. It is not until their reputation is on the line that they will become responsive. They will continue to blame the customer (again, please read the responses to poor customer reviews) and repeatedly c

I've moved 5 times prior to this move from California to Virginia. Of all the moving companies, this was the worst by far. Not only can I not recommend their services, I will never use them again. They are focused on making profits at the expense of the customer. -My items were delivered 26 days after the scheduled delivery date. -My items were picked up 4 days after they were supposed to have arrived at my new residence. -24/7 subcontracts the move and has limited oversight and poor communication with the subcontractors. -I was given a delivery date three different times. The day before delivery I would call to confirm drop off time. I was often told we don't know or we can't get in touch with the dispatcher. The items wouldn't arrive on the scheduled day and I'd start the process over again. -24/7 is reactive instead of proactive and has little follow through. If you don't constantly call and keep on top of the move, you will never hear from them. -Items were moved multiple times from multiple vehicles. My one bedroom apartment was loaded onto a moving truck, transferred to storage, transferred to an 18 wheeler, transferred back to a moving truck and finally delivered. The transfer from an 18 Wheeler to a moving truck was their discretion but cost me an additional $450.00. -The items do not take a direct route. The truck came from Virgina to Cali, then to Florida, then Georgia, then Virginia. -A box that was not part of my shipment was delivered with my items. They did not check the shipping manifest when they delivered the items. -If I had not called to advise that the incorrect box was delivered, no one but the box's owner would know or care. It took a week of calling daily to get a date scheduled for the box to be picked up. One the date scheduled, no one came. Bottom line: You can expect your items to be delivered well beyond their scheduled delivery date. You can expect little to no communication concerning when they will arrive and to not take a direct route to get to you. You can expect your items to be moved several times after they leave your residence and you might be missing a box. The company will take little to no care to ensure it gets back to you.

24/7 logistics was the most professional and friendly movers I met! I couldn't recommend them more! Going through a move is already stressful enough but they made this experience so much easier and enjoyable. From the initial phone call, to the scheduling process, to now fully moved in. Great company. Loved everything about them! My sales rep gave me an honest quote and my price went up only in packing materials which was worth every $ spent. The movers who came to pack my belongings were very friendly and worked extremely hard. Never seen anything like that before, and I moved like 5 times already. To deliver my stuff to Arizona didn't take long either. On the other end a semi driver was a little grumpy but all I cared is my stuff being delivered in one piece and put together, which he did. Very grateful to 24/7 Logistic Services and will recommend them to anyone who needs a help and peace of mind.

We filed a claim with their 3rd party insurer. Working with the insurer was fine, all done online. We mentioned the missing items and posted pictures of the roughly handled and broken items. When the settlement came back we were pleased that we retrieved a small amount for the broken and damaged items but were very upset when the most expensive items were rejected for reimbursement, these were the missing items. We reached out to 24/7 Logistics and asked them for help, to see if there was any other paper work that they could help us with to get reimbursement for the sub-woofer, painting and large computer monitor. Costing us more than $1,300 to replace. 24/7 Logistics told us that it was our duty to mark missing items on the bill of landing before signing. This is in the agreement. It was our fault, we did not read that part. Partly due to the inherent trust we had in a company and part because we were busy taking pictures of our broken items and helping the movers place items so that they could get to their next bigger job. So to any customer, make sure that any missing items are marked on the Bill of Landing before the movers leave. As you can imagine we were very upset. After a couple more conversations back and forth, 24/7 Logistics reached out to us. Expressed how they were not happy how things turned out for us. They also expressed how they are no longer using that warehouse where they stored our stuff and offered a modest amount for the missing items. Not dollar for dollar, but they offered a little more than what we would have gotten from the insurer. Again we did not purchase the dollar for dollar insurance, we would have only gotten the standard amount 0.60 cents per pound through the insurance company. We appreciate them reaching out and offering more and what the insurer would have paid out. Again, we wish this would have never happened but again they offered an amount for the missing items when they technically and legally didn't have to.

Awesome awesome awesome!!! I would definitely give this guys "triple AAA+" for the job that they'v done! Be honest at the beginning i was slightly nervous moving with them because they dont have a lot of reviews and some of them not good, but i decided let it go and try. Sales representative was very kind to me and explained everything step by step but the the REAL HEROES showed up later, Movers who did an actual packing and wrapping all of my furniture. I felt myself like in art gallery, besides i had confident that everything is going to make to the other end without any damage it was really aesthetically well done packed. A week after my belongings arrived in perfect condition and i showed up my gratitude by giving a good tip to the workers as well as writing this review to them! Good job 24/7 Team.

24/7 Logistics moved my belongings from Southern California to Missouri in mid June. I have a lot of belongings, and some needed delicate, competent packings. A team lead and crew showed up, 7 people in all. They were magnificent, the packing and moving was done quickly, safely, efficiently. They had exquisite manners. I could not have had a better load and pack experience ever! The set up for the move was amazing also, someone was always available to help and be sure every thing stayed on track. I would never use anyone but 24/7 logistics for any move. They are truly the best out there. Bonnie

We had 24/7 logistics move us into our 2nd floor walkup last summer and could not be happier with the service we received. The truck was clean and the crew arrived on time, smiling and ready to go. They wasted no time prepping and loading, and didn't slow down on the delivery either. There's no way I would put my friends through the old "help me move for a pizza and beer" routine with the amount of stuff we had and now that we know what it's like to have the pros do it, we recommend 24/7 logistics to anyone looking to move! Also, one of the drivers was like out of a modeling agency. Real nice to the eyes.

I used 24/7 Logistic Services when I moved from New York to Florida. This was far from being my first ever move, but it was the first time I moved to another state. Due to my uncertainty as to the exact day I would arrive in Florida, I requested a flexible schedule as to the date of my delivery. This necessitated my working with two different crews, the one who picked up the material in New York and the one who made the delivery in Florida. I honestly would say that both crews would rate at the top of my list for moving companies. The care and concern they showed for all my belongings, the courtesy they showed to me and my family, and the efficiency with which they loaded and unloaded the truck were all exceptional. I highly recommend this company and would most definitely use them for any future moves.

It's the Murphy's Law of moving companies. Everything that can go wrong, will go wrong. I did exhaustive research for our interstate move and felt that 24/7 had the best combination of reviews, price and offers. Turns out it was all just a sales pitch. I expressed to their agent that timeline was my top priority for a move and he assured me that they could complete my move in 2-3 days. He even faked sympathy for how hard it would be to be without our toddler's things for an extended period of time. He told me that they could pick us up on Thursday or Friday of the week we wanted to move and have our things delivered by Sunday or Monday. So moving week comes around and on Monday they tell me they are still on track. On Thursday, we get a call asking if we could push our move date to Saturday, and we say no because we had already given notice, and they say okay. On Friday, they tell us we have no choice and they will come Saturday, and when I express how outrageous that is, their extremely rude rep. tells me they can just drop us instead. So what choice do I have on our scheduled moving day? I can't move my flight with the toddler. Who else can I hire last minute? Where are we going to sleep? So we begrudgingly accept Saturday hoping they could be still there by Monday or Tuesday as agreed upon originally. Adding insult to injury, they charge us $1,000 more than quoted when they arrive to pack us up -- which had they been on time, I wouldn't have even minded because I just wanted our things delivered quickly. It took them 7 days to deliver our stuff. By my estimate, we paid extra to stay in our apartment another night, paid almost $800 at IKEA so we could have plates and somewhere to sit, then paid the ridiculous upcharge, and then paid more to replace the items (lamp, cabinet, play set) that they delivered damaged. Make no mistake, this company will lure you in with a good pitch but then leave you with your back against the wall. Stay away from these nightmare movers.

My wife and I are both thankful we went with 24/7 Logistic Services, their communication and customer service was amazing from start to finish! Both gentlemen that showed up on our move date were courteous, polite, professional and spoke English :) It was a hot and humid day; the movers never complained, nor did they let me lift a finger. The final price for the move was just under the cubic feet quoted by our moving coordinator Jason, whom was there for us throughout our move ( $179 bucks was rendered back to us, since our belongings didn't take up the amount of space we were quoted). I would definitely use 24/7 Logistic Services again if/when we ever move in the future. Thank you 24/7 for an awesome smooth move!

I had to move in California from Washington in a really short time period because of work circumstances. Therefore , I was looking for a moving company in a last moment . It was very difficult to find someone available, but finally I found Logistic 24/7 services. Their office clearly explained all features and conditions of interstate moving, and on the next day I met Sergei and his team at my house. These guys professionally did their work. They packed all my heavy and antique furniture that I was worrying about. Moreover , they did their work fantastically fast so I had a plenty of time to prepare myself for traveling in Los Angeles. I highly recommend this company if you looking for a professional services and fair prices.

Warning! Do not use these people. They have only been in business a year, and destroyed most of my things. I have moved five times, and of course there are always little problems, but this company is by far the worst I have had. They left my stuff in a warehouse, where it was left in water and damaged. All my electronics are ruined, hundreds of dollars in books, and worst of all... my 4000 dollar tempurpedic mattress has mold damage. It was bad from the start, they showed up two days late, and did not have enough protective blankets for my furniture because a previous move took priority (a bigger house/more money). Despite starting five hours late, they came back the next morning and still didnt bring more blankets! Needless to say, everything they didn't protect, was ruined. Oh and they lost the hardware to reassemble my kitchen table. When it was delivered, it wasn't even a 24/7 crew, despite me asking five or six times if they would have full custody of my goods. Liars and frauds. Customer service was nice, otherwise it would be zero stars... but who cares when your stuff is ruined.

I had to give 1 star just to do the review. Should be NO stars. Customer service was good up until the point they had my stuff and paid. It first starts they low balled the space needed in a truck just to give you a good quote. Then you have to pay extra for more space ($4 per cubic foot). You will need this due to the under estimate.they tell you that their quote could be 15 to 20 percent off because it is. I sold many things off my original Inventory and it just barely fit. Once they had my house packed the customer service became nonexistent. The consistent answer I got was that is what is in the contract. When my items arrived I did a through inventory of the numbered stickers. Some items did not have stickers and I knew of 2 items missing one being a 10ft ladder. I called as soon as the truck was unloaded and informed them of the missing item. I guess they are still looking into it 2 weeks later. Do not use 24/7 logistics. Stay away.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!! Our experience with this moving company was abysmal. We hired 24/7 Logistic Services to move our belongings (3 bedrooms, living, dining, and kitchen) from a storage unit in New Jersey to Arizona on April 29, 2019. The intended delivery date was May 10th, 2019. The moving company did arrive on May 10th as scheduled; however, the shipment they had was not ours. They had loaded the WRONG order.  The order specified our name, yet the shipment clearly belonged to another customer for in an entirely different STATE!!! (Naturally, this prompted the question: Where was our "stuff"? and worse, could it have been delivered to another state?) I immediately notified Elizabeth in the Customer Service department who apologized and told me that the Operations Manager, "Oscar" would reimburse us for storage and any unforeseen costs as a result of their error.  (She inferred that we were lucky they had a customer service department that could help in this regard) She said to forward all receipts to her which I did.  Then, she said that our belongings were in their possession after I had sent an email asking to track the destination of our shipment. She said that they were loading our things on the next truck headed to AZ.   However, due to the original debacle, our work schedules had to be rearranged to meet the movers for the second time.  When I explained the inconvenience, she became hostile. The balance remaining at delivery totaled $2,768.25. The receipts I forwarded for items I was forced to purchase as a result of their failed delivery attempt totaled approximately $500.00.  These purchases were reasonable (uniforms for work (scrubs, ems pants), swimming accessories for pre-purchase aquatics classes, lunch boxes and water containers etc.) Items that were needed for the next 5 days, not delivered to us on the date specified. I never heard from Elizabeth again. Two days later, I received a call from Ashley, (a person in training under Elizabeth) who now called to tell me that the reimbursement was "no longer on the table" for the receipts submitted to their offices pursuant to Elizabeth's instructions.  I was stunned. Ashley claimed that she would review the notes and get back to me within the next few hours. She went on to say that she understood my frustration and that she was in fact "trying to advocate for us." I asked multiple times to be transferred to a supervisor or the Operations Manager, Oscar. Nothing. No call, no acknowledgement, no ACCOUNTABILITY!!!!!!! That conversation with Ashley was on May 16th.  I heard nothing from her until May 22nd. She said that there was no need to get back to me because my issue was NOT a priority and that she did not have anything new to add. When the movers returned on May 25th, I plead my case thinking they would be more receptive considering what had happened with the first attempt.  I would be happy to pay minus the deductions for the items that we were forced to purchase.  They told me to call customer service to complain. This went back and forth until Sue, from their customer service line called me raising her voice and spewing lies about how we agreed to the delivery terms. She sounded incoherent. There was no reasoning with her.  It was truly unreal. Everyone standing within earshot was equally as stunned asking who the company was and to make sure to never do business with them. They were instructed to leave if we did not pay them the FULL balance in cash/money order.   In my lifetime, I have never dealt with such a dishonest group of people. They clearly have no concept of customer trust or satisfaction. Our disdain will be shared with every regulatory agency that they are associated with as a result of this experience.  Curious how much of the "cash" payments are reported to the IRS since there is no "real" paper trail... AVOID THEM AND FEEL FREE TO SHARE MY EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!

My experience with this company was a nightmare. The first call was cheerful and reassuring--but everything after that spiraled down rapidly. Our move changed to a day later than we expected--because they didn't make it clear that we had a 2-day moving window--then the time of the move wasn't told to me until the day before. It made planning nearly impossible. We were given a window from 2-5pm, the movers didn't show up until 5:30pm. It was a 4 hour drive to our new home--so we didn't get there until after 1am. When the movers arrived, the truck was already half full with someone else's stuff. Then we were told there was too much stuff--even though my sales rep said he "overestimated" the weight/size. So we had to leave items behind. And the price increased by an incredibly large margin. The movers did a good job--but are so out of touch with the customer service/sales portion of the company it's like two separate companies. The disconnect is terrible. You'd call with a complaint and would get sent to a voicemail, or if you did get to talk to someone they were rude, didn't care to listen to any complaints. My emails even went ignored. When I scheduled my move, I was given a "move date." It was a two day window. But when they picked up our stuff, they then said we hadn't scheduled a delivery date. Also we could pay with a check or credit card if we pay a $35 fee. NONE of this was told to us when booking. If it HAD been, we would have paid for a delivery or planned ahead, instead we were blind sighted. I'm just glad we brought an air mattress. So we slept in a totally empty house for 3 days. We were told by the movers we had to pay in cash upon delivery or we wouldn't have it unloaded. Cash? It felt so shady, the other mover wouldn't even exit the truck until we paid. This company provides as little communication as possible. They assume you just know the ins and outs of the moving business. So you end up with multiple extra charges. For example a $75 stairs fee, which I was told about--but they failed to tell me I need to pay twice for each location. So when the movers got here they asked for $75 to move my mattress upstairs. They also roughly stacked and dropped boxes, resulting in quite a bit of broken glass. My major complaint with this company is the customer service. Or lack thereof. When any complaints were issued, I was made to think it was MY fault or I was crazy. Look out on Yelp for "Oscar," because he may be the worst. I have never met a more childish person who is the face of a company. Upon receiving 1 star reviews he asked ME to "make it right." Or that I was too focused on the negative, offering nothing but sarcasm to my complaints. In response to my frustration and his attitude toward me, he said "would you let someone hurt your baby?" Your moving business isn't the same as a person's child. You need to take better care of your customers because they are the ones who pay you. And if you notice in his replies to other reviews, he blames the customer. They are so focused on getting 5 star reviews that they will harass you if you give anything less. If the communication with the company had been better, more upfront, and more understanding, this would be a totally different review. But I was treated incredibly poorly and it ruined any positive experience I could have had. Do not trust this company. But if you do--pack an air mattress and advil to deal with the headache they will give you.

Meghan L. to 24/7 Logistic Services
We are EXTREMELY dissatisfied with our experience with 24/7 moving services. We did so much research before picking our moving company and thought we had picked a great service. Needless to say, it has been awful. When we first called them, they gave us an estimate. Great. We told them exactly how large our items were and the estimate was very affordable. Great. When the movers actually came, the costs were over 1,000$ more than what we had expected. The movers did NOT speak English (and I say this as an ESOL teacher who speaks 6 languages, my husband is from an immigrant family, we are usually SO UNDERSTANDING of foreign languages and want to help others). The language barrier was really frustrating. They then tried to charge us over 2,000$ over the original estimate. We waited on hold with 24/7 moving services and tried talking to them, but they were irate, loudly telling us that we owed them so much more money than we had agreed upon. They then explained to us that our stuff would arrive in the new location one week later. Great. It is now 2 weeks later and we STILL DO NOT HAVE OUR THINGS. We have called 24/7 moving services and they keep telling us things like "it's in the fine print" and "didn't you read the contract?" Yes. We read the contract, but we also trusted what people told us multiple times on the phone and didn't take a microscope to every last line of fine print. Now, they are charging us 650$ more dollars (on top of the already higher prices) to get our stuff into our apartment, essentially holding all of our things ransom so that they can transfer it to a smaller truck. We are a recently graduated medical student and a teacher. We are just doing the best that we can, and had to move for work. We are so tired of being lied to time and time again by this business. We have to, unfortunately, move again in a year (relocating for residency program part 2) and we will NOT be using this service. I am also warning everyone I know about how awful this was and what liars they are.
