We recently used Gills Movers to relocate our home from Kentucky to Alabama. Could not have been more satisfied. They were very careful with some very fragile furniture and everything arrived in the same condition it left. The workers were friendly and it was clear they were trying to do their best. I would not hesitate to use them again and highly recommend them to everyone.

Gills Movers were terrific! I hired a storage/moving company for my move from North Carolina, which delivered my moving pod to my new residence in Alabama. I hired Gills Movers to unload the items into my new home. The team was helpful and efficient ~ I can not say enough about these guys having excellent work ethics, with customer service being especially terrific. Several of my pieces of furniture had been "broken down" for the multi-state move. The guys went to work and did what needed to be done to put my furniture back together and placed perfectly in my new home. Beautiful job, well done!!

My mother is 82 years old and needed a mover. I was unable to make it to Athens to help her. I decided NOT to go with two men and a truck and seek out someone local. MR GILL and his crew was so considerate to my mom! He was fast efficient and she did not have to worry about anything. He brought three men for a better rate than any other company. I spoke to him several times before the move to ask questions and tell let him know that this move was stressful. He made everything better and even made my worries go away. I will call him for all moves! AMAZING!

We recently used LC and his team for a small IN to TN move. They were terrific. Affordable and personable, very happy with our choice. I strongly recommend!

I can't even begin to say how pleasurable my moving experience was with them. I've moved multiple times in Alabama, Georgia, and Washington, DC and this was by far the best experience I've had. Mr. Gill and his team were fast, efficient, and treated things as if they were their own. I had my stuff out of storage and in my house in 4 hours...and I had two storage spaces packed with goods! I can't thank them enough for the wonderful and affordable experience I had. I highly recommend them!!

Sept. 2021 Gill movers came to move our belongings. He was to be at our home at 9 am but texted that they were running late due to truck stopping on them. They loaded all of our 3 bedroom house belongings into the truck and we arranged to meet to unload. Gill called awhile later to let us know that they had a wreck. They left east Limestone county and were supposed to meet us in New Market. Instead they drove to Athens to eat lunch and hit the train bridge (see photos). We lost most of our household belongings - a including all large furniture and appliances. We have tried to work something out with Gill but he has not responded.

Gill Movers was hired to move our household goods. They loaded our household goods and drove to Athens,AL where they ran into a train bridge overpass. We lost over $15,000 of household goods. Gill has not reimbursed us one cent and is not working to resolve this issue. WARNING: DON’T USE THIS MOVER!!
