First and foremost, I would like to say I had very high hopes based off of a glowing recommendation from my co-worker. Unfortunately, we did not have a similar experience. Pros: * cost. on the surface it seems reasonable. You box off of your things and organize it ready for pick up. They later pick up your things and take it to its final destination, like any other moving company. I spoke with a highly professional Gentleman over the phone (Ivan) that made me feel comfortable leaving our boxes in their company's possess. Cons: * poor communication. The person who arrived to pick up the boxes told us that someone will call 2-4 days in advance to schedule a drop off time. Then asked when we would be able to recieve the items in our new place. We gave the date (9 days later) and were told that was perfect because a truck was delivering in that area within 1 week... On the date expected delivery (9 days later) I reached out and was told that my things have not left miami because they were informed that I wanted them in STORAGE until that date.... what?!?!. They apologized and told me the things will be shipped out and should be in my area 4-5 days.... * Unprofessional: 3 days later, I receive a phone call stating that "the driver is trying to reach you. He is in your area". NO prior notice and NO actual phone call. The driver then called me to inform me that he "left the boxes in a warehouse nearby. I will be back next week to deliver them"... again, what?!?! * BEWARE: One week later, we finally receive our boxes and theyre all crushed, the furniture is broken, and the crib is missing 2 of the 4 main frame parts. I called the company and they said they I can place a claim for "$0.60/pound for all the damaged item". Their email gave an example of a $1000 stereo that weighs 10 lbs and they're only obligated to pay $6.00 I tried to upload photos but there are no options for photos

AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING !!! I hired Orange movers to move me from New York to Miami. Getting a quote was a easy process, I just listed the items i needed to move and got a guaranteed price. I was a bit skeptical because it seemed too low but the price remained the same and I got my stuff in 6 days without any damages or hiccups. I highly recommend them! If i need movers again I know who to call. Thank you ORANGE movers for moving the whole process easy and seamless! You are the best.

These guys just did an awesome job for me. Adrian, Terry and Russell came in and worked diligently to make our move effortless. They came in and didn't waste any time and moved all of my furnishings and electronics without damaging them. I've moved several times here in south florida and these movers are definitely a cut above the rest. I highly recommend these guys. Thanks again fellas.

Called this company to move three items into storage. When I received the email confirmation, they left one of the items off the list. I called and was told not to worry we will move it. This later came to harm me that I did not get the correction in writing. When the movers came they moved the items, but heavily damaged my wood stairs. I called the company while the movers were here, they said do not worry, file a claim and we will take care of it before I signed any paperwork. Orange movers asked me to send pictures and did so right away. I also got prices to repair the stairs. When this company realized that there was approximately $2,200 in damages, they denied the claim and said that I signed the paperwork waiving my rights to damages. They told me that they would not cover the damages, and that the item that they moved was not on the list of items I requested to be moved. They caused damage to my home and would not take care of it. This company is not honorable and there are many other better choices out there. I rarely write reviews but wanted to let folks how this company treated me so it would not happen to any one else.

A little confused about how this works, but we booked this moving company, Superior Vanlines, through Victory Moving and Storage. Mike was very good about keeping in touch and following through with getting every thing organized for the move. He stayed in touch and gave a fair estimate of what things would cost. So far so good!! We have been impressed with both companies thus far. Will update this review when all is said and done.

I myself am in a trucking business, so I know how this works. These people are the most absolute irresponsible people in the business. I was told 14 business days to take my stuff from FL to IL. Which to begin with is already a lot, so they told me they will try to do it sooner. It's been a month now and the delivery is scheduled for today. The driver is not picking up, the people in Miami can't tell me where he is, nobody knows anything. I took a day off, so I can finally get my furniture, medicine, clothes, cooking supplies, etc, hoping that I would still be able to make it to the meeting at the end of the business day. When I confronted them that it was supposed to be done in under 2 weeks, I was corrected with "it's 14 business days".... well who cares!??? When it's been a month already!!!!!! Also nobody notified me about a $300 tip that I'll have to pay prior to booking the services. I have assumed everything would be included in the $1700 I'm already paying.

Well, I will say the move started out good. The estimate was what I paid in the end, as well. BUT -- and there is a big one... or three. First the good -- They came on schedule. and were really fast. The next day came -- which was the move-IN day at the new destination. I moved from Miramar to Orlando. Not all that far. So, they gave me a time - Between 4 and 6pm. Now, the DRIVER told me -- it'd likely be more around 5pm -- hopefully. That was the day they moved me out. So, the next day came. I called at 6:30 -- I hadn't heard from them. They answered -- saying they'd be late. I asked how late. They said the traffic was bad. 8pm rolled around -- I call again -- because at this point I am starving. I needed to eat. They said -- go ahead and have a bite -- they were behind. I asked.. WHEN WILL YOU BE HERE? They couldn't say. I called at 10:30pm -- (no joke) -- They said.. they were still coming. At that point, I thought NO WAY. This is a joke. Oh, no.. No joke.. they came at 12:30 am -- to move me in -- That'd be -- the middle of the night. I am on the 4th floor. Elevator -- luckily -- but the poor souls below me -- heard some thuds I am sure. They were done moving me in at 3:30am. That is insane and unsatisfactory. So, by that time -- I didn't care. I wanted them gone. I didn't realize they didn't set up my TV on the stand. It's very heavy plasma. Also didn't notice.. MANY of my furnishings were banged up. One chest has a full piece of wood MISSING. Now.. if you don't have expensive stuff... like me -- you COULD take a chance on this company. I am not overly upset. The move came in under my company's stipend. So, I was able to use the rest of the money for other stuff. BUT, if you have good, quality furniture -- skip them. They are very sloppy. Speed = sloppy. They dropped several boxes -- I saw them do it. LUCKILY -- nothing broke -- because I packed well. I just cannot give them more stars. The guys were nice. I will say that. However, I called the company -- and said I wanted to have a debrief call on this craziness. Ask if I got a call back. That is what really upset me. No call back. Orange Movers clearly do not care about the customer. Sad, because I will say they have true potential.

I waited for my move for a month and 5 days from the scheduled day. No one in the company cared or tried to make things right. I was the one who had to contact them every single day. First weeks they started by saying they will pick up my move in 5-7 business days. Then they said the move had been picked up and it was going to be another 5-7 business days for delivery. Then they started making excuses and saying "sorry about the inconvenience, we will refund you the money" but always avoiding giving me an ETA. At this point, I had already paid 2 MONTHS of rent on an empty apartment I wasn't using. The company is in Miami and I'm in San Francisco. One of the times I called a woman picked up the phone with the worst attitude. As we spoke, she starts getting upset and raising her voice. Then tells me she can do nothing for me because she is in Miami. I tell her that doesn't make sense, what does her location has to do with anything and if she needs me to go to Miami to talk to her. She screams at me "I don't care what you do with your money and your time, if you want to come to Miami then do it" and hangs up on me. Finally, Orange Movers got in contact with the driver and told me the driver was in LA and again that it would be a few more days. I asked for the driver's phone number or an estimated day of arrival since he was already so close. Orange Mover said nothing. After a few more calls and emails they send screenshots of conversation with the driver by text. This is when I realized the driver was an independent driver with a truck. Orange Movers don't even do the moving themselves. The conversation was very odd. The driver was asking for his paycheck and that he'll call me a day before. This never happened. The driver came unannounced a Saturday morning and I had gone out of the city because it was Columbus Day weekend (a trip I had planned months in advance). I managed to get my building to open my apartment for them but Orange Movers didn't agree on this because I needed to pay by cash to the driver the remaining of my balance (which they had previously agreed on refunding). So they get another company in San Francisco to deliver to me the next week. The moving day came and after hours of waiting for a call, I decided to call Orange Movers to ask when will my moving arrive. The first women who picked up the phone had no idea and told me she would ask around and call me back. An hour goes by and no one calls me back so I called again. This time a man picked up the phone and told me that same thing that he would call me again. He calls me back and tells me the delivery window is from 2-4pm. I told him I just wanted to make sure they were coming that day because if I wait until 4pm then it was going to be too late in Miami and they would have gone all home and I would have to wait yet another day. The guy raised his voice and told me "What do you want me to do? Wait on the phone with you until 4pm?". Everyone just seems to have the same bad attitude. When the new driver came he asked to pay in cash the remaining of my balance or can't deliver anything. He also told me how ashamed they are about what they are about to deliver. That everything is either damaged or broken. They were amazed by the level of unprofessionalism in Orange Movers. Based on my terrible experience and the different reviews made by other people who have unfortunately used Orange Moving, they operate under the following fraudulent scheme:   - They send you a quote with a low price and used other companies like Dumbo Moving - Before moving they tell you that it is much more expensive for reasons not explained in the origin - They add 3.5% if you pay with a credit card, which for the amounts you must use this method of payment. - They request a 70% advance, before collecting your furniture - Once furniture is picked up, they pass the responsibility to another company that uses private truckers that are no longer responsible for the load or the delivery date - When you call to verify the delivery dates they respond with apologies and no information. - When your cargo appears to be ready to be delivered before you check the furniture, people who unloaded the truck must have the rest of the payment ONLY IN CASH and tell them how much tip you will give them - Load arrives broken scratch and objects lost - When making the claim to the truck, they said they are not responsible and refer to call Orange Movers. If you call reporting damage or something missing, they respond that you have some alternatives claim:  Full Value Protection (additional charges apply) or Release Value of 60 Cents Per Pound Per Article (free) or Third Party Insurance, since they are not responsible for the reported damage Orange Movers never contacted me again despite all my emails to different email accounts and calls to different persons. Only one thing is sure with Orange Movers, YOU WILL NEVER BE REFUNDED FOR ANY CLAIM.

Moving sucks.. we all know that. But it shouldn't be! Moving with the right mover actually could be enjoyable and stress free. I was extremely stress about my move to FL but the most comfortable with orange. From the first call to the follow up after the move I felt like I am the only customer they have. The movers were great as well and nothing broke, most important for me is that the price stayed the same and the delivery was on time. Would use again with no hesitations!

Moving is difficult. I don't need to tell you that. So when it was my time to move, I called a bunch of different places trying to get a good deal. Unfortunately, my move was very last minute and was on the Fourth of July. Nobody wanted to do it, and even doing it a day later they wanted to charge me a ton of money for a small move. Except Orange Movers. They texted me with a quote and I followed up with a call. They explained the process. They would come by, pick up my stuff (in boxes), pack my furniture and TVs, and load it up themselves. Their price was a fraction of everyone else's. It was even cheaper than me renting a u-haul truck and doing the work myself. The catch? They wanted a 10% deposit over the phone. I can understand that, makes sense business wise. However, the next thing had me uncomfortable - cash or money order of 60% of the balance upon pick up, with the remaining 30% collected on delivery. While they do take credit, they charge an additional 5%. Paying someone who has all my stuff cash doesn't put me in a position of leverage if things go bad. Anyhow, I agreed and they did pick up. The two men that arrived came in on time. Hats off to them because it was a good amount of work for only 2 people on the Fourth of July. They did a great job packing everything and making sure it was secure. One thing that had me uneasy was the paperwork. Nothing is explained on the agreements and they do not appear to be filled out properly. I'm not sure if I would be covered of damages were to occur based on what I saw. Delivery date was explained to be 10 business days and that he expected it would get they in 10 days. After a week or so, I called to find out when it would get here. I was told on Wednesday they would let me know. Not that reassuring. I called on Wednesday and then was told I would get a call on Thursday. On Thursday evening I got a call confirming delivery, which ended up being 12 days total (still well within the 10 business day window). Delivery window was 9-12pm and they got here at 12pm. Unpacking was much faster as the men quickly unloaded everything. The moment of truth for me was confirming that I received all the items in good condition. They had an inventory list that was a copy that I signed off on pick up, and would read off the item numbers as they unpacked. Everything was accounted for, and all of furniture and TVs were unscathed. So for the price, it is going to be hard to beat. But being honest, it definitely felt like I was taking a gamble using this service. I feel the paper work and insurance should be explained clearly, taking credit cards shouldn't be frowned upon, and there should be some sort of tracking so you know where your items are. Then again, I have always done moves in the past myself, so I'm not sure what other moving companies do. I give them four stars because they had the best price, did it on a major holiday, and delivered the products within the window specified in good condition. If I had felt safer with the transaction, it would be 5 stars.

I hired Orange movers a couple of years ago for a family house that had pretty much everything boxed up and ready for an easy move. Note: I write this review now because we literally feared their retaliation in the past. You'll read why below... DAMAGES: Well the easy move went bad after a damaged sofa (broken leg), broken scratches and dings on the walls of the new place, and a disgruntled employee named Frank. When we told him about the sofa and other damaged items he didn't seem to care and told us to take it up with the office I thought I had struck gold with such a competitive rate but unfortunately they were experts at nickel and diming. When I questioned him why they were taking so long, Frank stated that the needed to fold and clean all their blankets on our time with a smile on his face. He was extremely rude to our my folks and we called it quits when he nonchalantly waved his box cutter around and saying that he's from New York. Very scary and extremely unprofessional. Can you say 'background check'? Yikes!

i hired Orange move to move some tiles from the store to my house, we agreed on the phone of the time they will spend to do the job, they were suppose to charge 3 hours total included travel time which it was like 15M from one location to the other. when they finished the jobs, they asked me 3 hours + 1 hours = 4 hours total... And they spend less than 3 hours total at my place, you can see attached they started at 9.12 and left at 12.05PM...less than 3 hours and they over charged me, i didnt want to argue with the movers on the spot, now i am trying to get my $85 back from them, if i do, i will remove or edit the feedback. So far i had a very bad experience today , be careful of what you sign cause its not the same story on the phone.

hired Orange movers for an emergency move due to a broken water pipe. They acted fast and efficient, Items moved quick out to their facility and delivered back 2 weeks after. Pricing and information was given upfront and since it's not my first time moving I also knew what's involve. I can say that due to that experience ( mostly bad in the past with other companies) that I will definitely use them again when the time comes.

I used Orange Movers in January of 2017. Moved furniture from a house to an storage. Trying not to be on the movers way I waited on my car until they were done. Was not able to see the damaged they caused to several pieces of furniture until today that I moved out of the storage and noticed several chips in a few pieces. All these damage done by the Orange Movers guys. They did not mentioned what happen pf course and placed the items with damage in a way that when you open the storage you cannot see it until you start taking the furniture out. I did not liked the way they were handling things and decided not to use them this time and listen to my gut feelings. Do not use this company. I called today as soon as I noticed the damages and was told I was going to receive a damage claim form by email. So far I have not received anything. This company is the worst!!!

Completely seamless from start to finish. These three guys were prompt, professional and skilled. Oh wait, and polite (I LOVE it when I get polite service.) Everything went very well. They covered and packed our furniture within an inch of its life. AND they took down, moved, and put up my baby grand piano with confidence and skill. Big bonus. The price was reasonable, and so, so worth it. Best moving day I've ever had.

Quoted me at a decent rate and Mandy was very helpful. Initial movers were prompt and respectful. The long distance portion was a disaster. The movers at first attempted to charge us an extra $75 to put our stuff on an elevator. We had to tell them the company policy didn't allow for that. They basically held our property hostage. Refused to make a concerted effort to park their trailer in front of the building and charged us an extra $300 to transfer our items from their trailer to a U Haul. I'm not convinced that it's company policy to charge for that either. Listen, going to Northern NJ and NYC, you know ahead of time the streets are narrow. The guys needed to switch to a U Haul anyway to go to Brooklyn, so why charge me extra? I won't be doing a long distance move again, but I will tell anyone who is contemplating a long distance move out of/into Florida to not use this company. Shady business practices. Either get a U haul, Penske or if absolutely necessary, take the extra fee and get a small company that will ship your items in the same truck they pick up in.

It started very well. The communication over the phone was great and professional. They called to inform that they are on their way. They packed everything organized so they can fit as much stuff as they can. Once I noticed that they were little rough with a box. Also when we were unpacking some of them were upside down. Few broken plates, broken glass in one China cabinet, some scratches on furnitures, missing leg of other China cabinet. I mean it's moving so it happens. The worst from all is that after they left they were driving fast and they run over a dog from our new neighbor. They did not even stop to say sorry or talk to the lady. Not the best way to start living in new neighborhood. The guys worked hard and they did everything we asked them. They were nice and pleasant. Accidents happen and it's life but not even stop ?! Not a good impression. They also take 3% of your total for using credit card. No other extra fees which was fine. The manager was very nice and he explained everything step by step. I didn't write on the beginning because I wanted to double check boxes before I say it up loud but one of my cologne is missing that was actually staying in the house and it was on top of the table.
