We moved today and can't recommend them enough. They will do the impossible to do it all very carefully. We didn't have a single scratch on any wall or piece of furniture. We even had a lot of Ikea furniture and they really did a great job with them. We are very pleased. Thank you!

I initially contacted SF Local Moving w/a last minute request. The owner, Raquel responded to my inquiry almost immediately and was very patient and informative. I am paranoid with hiring movers because I have heard so many horror stories in the past. Upon further research via Yelp, Better Business Bureau, etc., I found nothing but positive things about SF Moving. The fact that they are insured and bonded was a plus for me. The movers arrived 2 days after I spoke with Raquel. On moving day, Raquel kept me updated with progress of the movers. The movers arrived a bit late due to unforeseen issues (not their fault at all). They arrived with supplies and were ready to work. They protected my furniture with padding and moved quickly, The entire process was effortless and I am so happy with how everything turned out. I would definitely use them again.

I would recommend this moving company on all counts. We had a very complicated move: some things were going to storage, while others went to a condo. The 2 packers (including Abe, the owner) spent an entire day packing my kitchen and a lifetime collection of knickknacks. NOT ONE PIECE WAS DAMAGED OR BROKEN! At Abe's recommendation, we had 4 men on moving day. They called when they were delayed by traffic. They were careful, kind, flexible and personable, taking pride in their work. Not only did they load the truck twice for two locations, at our request they brought all the furniture from upstairs to the first floor that we were not moving, but giving away. They were amazing! Again, not one piece of furniture was damaged, even with some narrow doorways. In addition, all my contacts with Raquel, who handles scheduling and billing, were very pleasant. She responded to my emails and phone calls promptly and courteously. At a time where courtesy, kindness, honesty and pride in your work are at a premium, it was a pleasure working with this company. Moving is stressful and exhausting, but SF Local Moving helped to lessen that stress. Don't hesitate to hire them for any size job.

This is the best moving company I've ever worked with. It was also the easiest company I've ever worked with. I called Abe one day, we picked a day for the move, he said he'd be there at 9am and emailed me a confirmation. He never asked for a deposit which surprised me a lot. Abe is the owner and he also shows up on moving day to fully participate in the move. The team came exactly when they said they would (I think they only schedule one move a day). I have some heavy antique pieces of furniture that I was very worried about (one had been damaged in a prior move which broke my heart). Abe and SF Local Moving were incredibly careful with my furniture and I'm so grateful. Also, in my opinion, this company is really inexpensive for the service it provides. When I need to move again I will be calling SF Local Movers.

Abe and his team are the best. The moving industry has its share of scammers and fly-by-night operators, so do your due diligence before hiring someone. Abe stands out as the best in the business: honest, hard-working and careful with your items. Excellent communication before and on the day of the move. I would definitely use them again.
