Updated, see Delivery nightmare Pick up: The Solomon & Sons team showed up as scheduled and we had the most wonderful professionals to work with. They took their time and carefully took care to wrap each item and strategically use all of the available space to most efficiently expedite our move. Our move was not an easy one. We have very bulky items, lots of big furniture and glass. The team did not skip a beat. I'm incredibly grateful that we found such an impeccable professional moving team. All of our questions were answered and the team was extremely patient. Thank you, again! Delivery: First of all, Solomon and Sons advertised this to me as all employees were Solomon and Sons employees. They were not. For a nearly 6 person job, we get just 2 for delivery. They were here for nearly 12-13 hours. The other local helper that they were supposed to hire was a no show. These guys worked hard but it was just not enough. Concerns: Why wasn't a much larger crew hired? I paid for a crew, not two guys. I feel cheated and misled. The job was entirely too much for two guys that by the end they got tired and it affected them. It was completely unfair to expect these two guys to unload a SEMI full of furniture and boxes by themselves. Damage: 1) My pristine freshly painted walls up going up the stairs in my brand new home were damaged, scuffed and chipped because these two guys had to struggle with my SOLID WOOD furniture. I will expect Solomon and Sons to repaint this wall. If there were enough "helpers" this wouldn't have happened. The house was just freshly painted, costing thousands. This is unacceptable. 2) my hardwood floor that was in pristine shape was scratched in the basement and in the family room by the movers, again, the job was too much for them, by the end, they were drenched in sweat and exhausted. I will expect the scratches to be fixed by Solomon and Sons. 3) multiple items were damaged. 1) my 3700.00 entertainment center bridge was snapped. 2) my guest room bed was missing bolts(Solomon and sons lost) 3) the wood drawer for under the bed was split(damaged) 4) My brand new coffee table was damaged (legs, sides) 5) my desk was scratched Additionally, In addition to all of that, I paid for full disassembly and reassembly. The guy (driver) they sent was so exhausted by the end, things that were disassembled were left and not reassembled. I will expect reimbursement of these items not being reassembled. Trash: All the packing material that was wrapped around the furniture they delivered was left here, I have a garage filled with bubble wrap, Solomon and Sons boxes etc. We were told by the driver that the trash stays here. Now I have to rent a truck and dispose of it myself because it's a huge pile that normal trash will not pick up. I will be updating this review as I discover more things damaged, I'm sure as I unbox the squished boxes of stuff. So many of my boxes I had Solomon and Sons deliver were squished or broken. There is no telling what damage is waiting for me. I'm extremely disappointed and pissed off. I will be filing a report with the Florida consumer office and Pennsylvania as well as the federal level for deceptive practices. It was advertised and told to me( I have it on video) that this move was 100% Solomon and Sons and all of my things would be taken care of by top notch pro movers. It wasn't and my new home is already bruised by them before I even got a chance to enjoy my first ever brand new home.

The worst. I could not have had a more damaged move. My things were destroyed intentionally. I had kick marks in my boxes! Everything that could be wrong was wrong. They were unreasonable and will not compensate me for the damages. Run! UPDATE - so you can see the response from the company claiming to care deeply about this- but in typical avoidant behavior, he has not returned my call. I have over 80 photos of the damage: kicked boxes, broken furniture, broken items. If you like, I can post one photo of the damageeach day for the next few months. Stay tuned! UPDATE -I just looked through the company website from this site. So many pictures of damage! I am not the only customer to have all my possessions destroyed. I encourage you to view the photos before hiring SOLOMON & SONS WRECKING

I am not one to leave reviews. I must get 5 requests a day from the online vendors I buy from. I realize that we all get these requests! My policy is not to leave reviews except when I'm really pissed off or really happy. I this case I'm really happy!! From the first meeting with Jordan (my sales guy) I knew I had the right mover. I tend to move every few years and know the moving industry pretty well. I knew what questions to ask and all were answered satisfactorily (do your research before you hire anyone). Great follow up by Esther at Solomon and Sons. Nice experienced guys with exactly 0 complaints at both ends. Friendly, professional and really knew what they were doing. I did most of my own packing but the S&S guys did the couch, dining table, etc. The big stuff. Well packed! And stuff that I just didn't get to at the end they packed. Nothing broke. Ok that's my review. Great job Solomon & Sons!

Jeremiah Jason and Chandly did a wonderful job packing and advising us to scale down. Plus explained the proper cubic space. Wish that Jason sent someone over for a visual. We were under estimated. But Jeremiah smoothed it over and walked us through it

Solomon & Sons asked for a review in exchange for a discount on my moving expenses. I should've taken that as a red flag from the beginning because not only were they days late but my TV and lamps were shattered and they lost one box filled with shoes. Don't use this company.

New York to Tennessee Monica H. was very professional and pleasant when I made my informational calls, but after the contract was signed, she pretty much "ghosted"me, completely ignoring a few emails and phone calls. The only time I got her back on the phone was when I threatened to cancel due to the fact that she would not guarantee an actual pickup date. She claimed she explained this to both my wife and me on separate occasions. Funny, though, how we both recall her saying something different before we decided to go with them. Moving long distance requires hotel reservations that can't be made the day before, especially when traveling with 2 dogs. The people who bought our house also needed an exact date for their movers. Monica eventually gave me a date so that I wouldn't cancel. A day before the big move, the driver, Ethan, called to tell me his truck broke down and he would be two days late. I told him that I would have to cancel and rent a Uhaul because I couldn't change dates of hotel reservations and with the people who had already closed on our house. (They were kind enough to let us stay a few days after closing; I couldn't tell them that I needed additional time.) Ethan told me to "hold on" and he would call me back. I called dispatch and they knew nothing about a broken down truck and said they would look into it. 10 minutes later, Ethan called to let me know he'd be there on the morning of our scheduled pickup. They must have found a great mechanic!! Lol. The day of the move (a Monday)finally arrived. Expecting to see the truck pull up in the morning, I grew anxious around 11:00 am. I decided to call the company and someone named Ed answered. He said that because of the size of the move, they'd want to start early and assured me they'd be there soon. Okay. I continued to wait...and wait...and wait. At 4:00 pm, the truck finally pulled up. By the way, don't expect them to start loading right away. Everything must be inventoried and furniture must be wrapped with pads and bubble wrap. That took FOREVER. (I wouldn't have minded if they had started in the morning.) The 2 drivers, Ethan and Scott, were awesome and professional. They worked hard with no complaints. Here's the problem...they didn't finish loading the truck until 1:00 am!! That's right!!! ONE O'CLOCK IN THE MORNING!!! Assuming we'd be on the road by mid afternoon the prior day, we had to cancel our first night reservation (lost my deposit) and find a local hotel that took dogs (not easy in a small town). We were completely exhausted! Before leaving, Ethan semi-assured me that our belongings would be delivered on Sunday (the day we requested). I called him Saturday afternoon to confirm and guess what? Yup, he said his truck was broken down!! Lol. Once again, dispatch was not informed but assured me they'd look into it. Dispatch later called me back and left a message stating they had no delivery date until they hear from the mechanic. A day later, Ethan called to let me know it would be an additional 1-3 days. Great! I had to extend our hotel stay (not cheap). 10 days from the pick-up date, the delivery was made! Ethan told me the day before this momentous delivery that he'd be to my new home in the morning between 8-12. He didn't arrive until 5:00 pm and still had to unload everything to a shuttle in order to make it down my road. (I expected the shuttle.) To make a long story longer, they completed their delivery at 10:30 pm. Yup...TEN THIRTY AT NIGHT! I guess it was better than 1:00 am. I also guess I don't blame them for a few crushed bins and a recliner falling off a dolly and flying out of the back of the truck to the pavement. They were tired! We were all tired! I tipped them well (both after pickup and delivery). I couldn't really blame them. All in all, I guess I just don't understand the moving business. Deadlines and promises are extremely important to keep things moving smoothly, but there's just no guarantee in a long-distance move. Here's my lesson. Rent a Uhaul, hire a few buddies (pizza and beer), take a few days to load it carefully, and take my time driving to our new home. (I could have even hired a buddy to drive the Uhaul for a fraction of the price.)That sounds so much less stressful. I thought that saying goodbye to family and friends, selling and buying a house, and driving 15 hours with 2 dogs would be the worst part of my move. Nope! It was the craziness of Solomon and Sons time organization. I thought I'd get a courtesy call by now (it's been a week) to see how everything went. Guess I got "ghosted" again!

They moved my elderly mother from Boynton Beach, Florida to Connecticut. Some heavy furniture and many boxes. The furniture was wrapped with TLC. The price was good. The service was great. There are no surprises with this company.

Solomon & Son relocations company . Which is supposedly run by Roy Cohen who operates a unrepeatable moving company and uses rented trucks from subcontractors who are Lacking professionalism and basic courtesy. Roy Cohen states he has a large moving business when in fact he is nothing more than a broker. His practices in business are sketchy at best!! He is disorganized , dishonest and disrespectful . they did not show up or complete the job as stated in the contract , they lost pieces of our furniture and were unwilling to deliver them . Do not use this company or any company that Roy Cohen is associated with. There was a $500 fee when we were not properly notified within the required time frame that was stated in the contract . The delivery person was rude and used profanity and was a liar. He stated he was at our residence but then when the question was restated to him that he was then two hours away from us, he then told me he Covered his tracks and that he was going to enjoy his Mother fucking weekend and that they're going to charge us a fee and also stated he didn't give a fuck . I wouldn't trust this moving company with my furniture.

We used Solomon and Sons to move our family from Miami Beach to Boca today. They were incredible, and we highly recommend them! Jason, the salesperson, spent 30 minutes on the phone with us, to give us the best possible quote. We actually came in UNDER what we were originally quoted! The team that moved us was friendly, professional, strong, efficient and careful with our belongings. Our movers were Armando, Jacob and Francisco. We are thrilled with the service today, and we want to highly recommend their services!

I moved in Sept of 2018, as the movers were carrying my furniture, they destroyed the wall (arch entry) which I had to pay 200.00 to have the wall repaired. Then, I had to tell the movers how to navigate to bring the furniture in the room so they didn't create further damage. After being unsatisfied, with damaged walls and scratched furniture, I still tipped the movers, how stupid on my part! I received a call (2) hours later about a floor vase was left in the truck and they were going to deliver it later that day. They delivered my 589.00 floor vase (cracked and in pieces held together with 2' tape. After a series of conversations the customer service, I was offered 50.00 discount if I use them again, REALLY! I have been fighting with the insurance company this moving uses for reimbursement of damaged properties regarding a claim for a smashed floor vase for (6) months now, I've given up and accept a lose due to their negligence along with the added expense of damaged walls. Expect the worse, this way your wont be as broken inside as I was when I saw the damaged wall, scratched couch and my floor returned smashed. It is unethical how this company destroys customers items, properties, etc..... and has a sense of entitlement to charge higher rates than other responsible moving companies. They exist on the awards received or created to advertise their service. I would hate to see other consumers have the same sad experience as myself. Read the reviews and exercise other options when it comes to movers !!

I set up my move one month in advance. Reservation process was simple enough considering the complexity of my move (Florida to California). Moving crew Joe, Antonio and Max were on time, quick and profesional. If i ever have to move again they will definitely get a call from me.

I cannot say enough about the customer service at Solomon and Sons Movers! They have been SO gracious and helpful throughout this entire process. Matt, Roy (the Regional Manager here in Florida) and Ed have all gone out of their way to help me. I am sick and have to move back home to Texas and they didn't even know it but they are making a huge difference in my life by saving me stress, time and money and working creatively with me to do so! Thanks again, Roy!!! Heather McCready

Solomon & Sons moved us from Weston to Fort Lauderdale today and did an outstanding job. The crew-Joseph, Jouvee, Francisco and Tony B. - were outstanding. They were very quick, courteous, early, and careful with our items. They finished under the projected time. Jordan did a great job meeting with us to set up the move and quoted us a very reasonable price. We have moved numerous times throughout our life and can honestly say they took the hassle out of moving day.

I promised to update the review when all was said and done. We aren't there yet, so I'm still updating. Pros: Super friendly sales people who work long hours and weekends Reasonably priced Professional drivers Online transactions Excellent disassembly and reassembly of delicate but massive china cabinet Cons: Dispatch is tragic: no-show on packing end and poor communications on delivery Pack and load included incorrect packing of my crystal (tall crystal in a single sheet of paper stacked vertically...10 wine glasses predictably snapped. There were only three boxes to pack!) Return of missing box was at 10:30 at night--and it was left on my porch even though a) it was heavy and fragile and b) I came out with my dog while the driver was still there More when I submit the claim for 10 wine glasses, one highball glass, and an irreplaceable set of silver cordials that belonged to my father.

Horrific move, terrible experience. I have moved my family cross country several times. This was my first with Solomon. They destroyed over $25000 worth of furniture and valuables. The owner could care less. We had a very expensive move that went horribly wrong. The timing, the unpacking, the foreman brought in a crew off craigslist and now we have missing clothing and jewelry- the entire process was beyond unprofessional and the owner is completely disrespectful and is dragging out this process so as not to have to reimburse us at all. I wouldn't recommend this moving company to anyone. Ever.

Incredibly disrespectful sales person. I just want to say I don't appreciate the condescending tone of Ed Garrett, their sales guy. I haven't even booked my move yet, but I know I certainly do not want to work with this company based on that. I understand that sales guys have to use different tactics to get sales, but in my experience, when the product is good, scare tactics are never used. Mr Garrett insisted on going on his rant that 'other providers' will offer a misleading quotes, which he had already written in his email, but insisted on repeating himself. He also insinuated that was I incapable of understanding this, as if I wasn't an adequate adult, who has already had to hire a moving company before. To end it all he even hung up on me. All in all, I can't speak as to their service, but their sales people sure need some training. This coming form a girl who was raised by a sales man and has worked in marketing all of her life.
