So this is a post about Jacksonville Budget Movers LLC. You may have seen the review here before and seen it taken down. This seems to be a tactic the owner John likes to use when he gets a bad review then he wants it taken down. This time it is not coming down. 2 weeks ago his company moved my friend from her house. The movers were nice and courteous. When they showed up the box truck was filled with soiled mattresses and parts of a sectional couch and some other miscellaneous things as well as some roaches. After a heated back and forth exchange with the owner and the movers they removed the items from the truck placing them in the driveway for the owner to come and get them. He shows up and collects the trash as there is no other way to really describe these items. The day goes on and the house is slowly moved into the truck. This is going to take 2 trips as the only estimate they have is how many rooms do you have and the square footage of the house. During the second trip the movers proceeded to drag furniture across the floors leaving a 7ft gouge and a 9 foot gouge. Upon leaving the 2nd time they left a fairly good amount of things in the garage that needed to be moved and some of which they were supposed to remove as trash as well as a rolling trash can full of trash again just left. Owner was called and he showed up to remove the trash left behind. We already moved the items in our cars that the movers were supposed to take. The property manager proceeded to show him the floors and he said he would be glad to take care of it. Problem solved. Keep in mind he has been paid in full and all business was concluded. After several days of no answer phone calls and ghosting the property manager the company owner proceeded; after a review was left, to call no less than 17 times at 8AM to demand the review be removed and how he hated and despised working for women like her. 1 Hour later he showed up in a gated community at her door and proceeded to bully, harrass, then he went back to his truck retrieved trash and proceeded to throw it at the front door. All the meanwhile 911 had already been called. JSO showed up, made him clean up the trash he threw everywhere and a decision was reached to not arrest him as long as he made good by paying to have the floor fixed. After agreeing to all of this he ghosted the property manager again and then my friend ended up having to pay for the damage to the floors. These event induced a tremendous amount of stress on my friend and this has affected her health. As a side note it also appears they have no liability insurance or this could have been taken care of that way.

Can't say enough good about L&L Moving. It's plain to see that Tyler, Dorian, Matt, and Robert have been doing this job together for quite awhile, as they worked together like a well-oiled machine. You may be tempted to think that a crew being paid by the hour might dawdle and take their time, but not these guys. They worked quickly and efficiently to get the job done and not waste my time or money. Yet at the same time, taking care to make sure nothing was damaged. Absolutely worth the money!

The movers were very nice and worked very hard; however, they accidentally damaged a button on the control panel in my condo building's elevator. This caused the elevator to stop working for the remainder of the day and I was billed $490 for the damage from my HOA. Due to the elevator also not working for the remainder of the move, the time of my move took longer costing me more money. I understand mistakes happen but I think its reasonable that I would receive the money for the damages caused to the elevator by the movers. I submitted a claim to the company and after a month and a half I received only $350. After receiving only $350 instead of $490, I requested for the full payment. I received zero response. Unfortunately, I will not be using this company again or recommending them to anyone else.

I have used the company three times now. The first time they were amazing. Then in April they moved my townhouse into a storage unit. It seemed to go well but I was very wrong. All of my furniture was in perfect condition before the move. They just moved it all into my house and almost everything is damaged. When I brought it up they told me it was like that and showed me images they took while in the storage unit. No one else has touched my stuff. It didn't damage itself. It took them over two house just to load the storage unit into the truck with three guys. It was a 10X20. I finally just told them to drop the boxes and bins in the garage and I would deal with it. They quoted me $570 for the move but then charged me $750. I would not recommend them at this point.
