Call another company!
I had read reviews of this company on various web sites and thought it would be an honest,  professional and reputable company.  The reviews were all positive so we booked the move.  But you need to know that this company will not allow you to write negative reviews after a claim is settled.   So all these supposed great reviews are misleading because the moving company limits what you read about what goes wrong.  It even asks customers to remove negative reviews.  All reviews should be able to be posted, good or bad.
Contracts were sent with different prices and its like a bait and switch. You will want to be sure you get a binding quote that doesn't increase in price after your furniture arrives. When the movers arrive with your furniture they will insist you sign additional pages added to the contract and won't move your furniture off the truck till the papers are signed. Three parts of our irreplaceable dining room set were damaged-a glass tabletop was broken, a part of the wood dining room top was chipped down to raw wood and a chair leg was completely broken off. A coffee table had a sculpted piece piece broken off the base. Claims forms were completed. But good luck with claims! Our first concern was to remove the glass tabletop so we didn't get cut. But we were asked by claims to call to the people to schedule and fix the damage! We refused, it is their job, not ours to arrange to repair the furniture. We kept calling and emailing and asking to get the broken and jagged glass tabletop removed. At one point we were told to put piece of cardboard over the broken part! It took 12 days just to get the broken glass removed. After much back and forth two furniture repair companies said the dining room and living room furniture was not repairable. Then claims kept changing the way we were going to be compensated. Here's just one example. We were told we would be reimbursed by the pound for the broken coffee table. Per their contract, they said the coffee table weighed 84 lbs. Claims tried at first to use the end table weight as reimbursement at 34 lbs. When she was sent the weight for the coffee table per their contract she didn't want to pay their contract weight price but our estimate. Then they need to reimburse us for overcharging for the weight of our furniture. It makes you wonder what else was overestimated to get more money for the move. When I asked about the glass tabletop reimbursement at $6 a pound they refused even though it says they will pay $6 a pound or $432 per their contract. So we were told they would pay only $195 toward another glass tabletop. For us to replace the glass it would cost us another $157 to have the replacement done. They broke the glass, they should either pay the cost per pound or the entire cost to replace the glass. Claims will argue, tell you they won't pay tax or delivery charges or installation charges for furniture they damaged. They will do anything to change reimbursement rules to suit them. They will fight not to pay a cent of the supposed $6 a pound for damages that's right on their contract. We have asked for the owner to call us twice but the girl in claims refuses to have him call us. We expected our furniture would be well wrapped to avoid damage. I didn't have the furniture moved out the door with any defects and I certainly expected it to be moved to our new home in the condition they received it. If they aren't going to honor their insurance they need train and supervise the movers so damage like this doesn't happen. Paying the workers a bonus to complete the jobs quicker might be why so much damage was done to our furniture. A bonus not to break furniture might be a much better idea. We have moved 3 times in the past two years. This was the worst company we have ever dealt with. Moving is stressful enough without having to deal with a company whose practices are questionable and delivers broken furniture.

Ultimately, everything was fine.Scheduled, confirmed, got estimate and paid advance deposit.I chose this company based on consistently excellent local reviews, and was confident in my choice. On moving day:when the arrival time was close to being over-thought I'd better call in case I was to re-confirm.Was assured I was scheduled.Within 10 minutes:I received a few callbacks stating 1 of the crew had had an emergency and they'd do their utmost to get a crew there same day.I appreciated the calls--totally understand unexpected emergencies--but for my side:I had already moved the majority of the home myself and with friends---I pretty much had to come to blows with my employer to have the time off to make the final move & to also be available to turn over the rental home I had been in same day.Needless to say--after that followup,I just started calling every local mover around;all crews were already out....except 1 fantastic company that was ready to roll! The movers did arrive from 2 College Bros.as promised--and were very apologetic and typically do not do business in this manner. They were very hassled, and rushed--I was OK with this,as I was,too---but unfortunately this was my experience.I hope there won't be a next time--but don't think I would call on this company again.

Had an appointment booked for 8:30AM. No one arrived at that time so I called to check in. Their office doesn't open until 9:00AM. At 9:00 I spoke to someone who was short on answers as to where the crew was. Said she'd look into immediately. I hadn't heard back at 9:15 so I called again. Still no clue where the crew was. Said she'd call back when she had answers. At around 9:30 I receive a phone call from a separate moving company. It seems that College Brothers Moving had completely botched the appointment so they reached out to third party to fill in. They were able to arrive around 10:30, or 2 hours after my initial appointment with College Brothers. Icing on the cake was I never heard back from college brothers until the day after, when I received an email asking me to rate their performance. 2 stars because at least they found a replacement service to cover for their incompetence. Would strongly recommend you seek help elsewhere.

Friendly, Fantastic, Fair... what else can I say about this company. A UF graduate that formed his own company and delivered great service for us at a very reasonable price. After seeing a neighborhood recommendation for them, I called for a local move for my father-in-law's small apartment. They responded immediately, got a great quote, showed up on time on a Sunday morning, and completed the move under the minimum time. Wade, the young owner, and his man did the move and could not have been nicer. I would use them again and highly recommend them. Don't be taken by a mover that you don't trust.

Highly recommend. Derrick was great. Clean and professional. Have had issues with other movers. These guys know what they are doing and made me feel comfortable through the whole process. Timeliness and care was a priority and it showed.
