This has been a moving nightmare!!! We hired Big Man Movers to move 1/2 mile away. We've had more damage from Wesley and his crew than you could ever imagine. It was raining the day we moved; antiques were treated like footballs, no respect for their values and our furniture and belongings paid the price without a doubt. Pictures were knocked off walls and broken as they were loading furniture, antiques never wrapped just dropped, broke and never said a word. One piece of furniture was padded, wrapped in shrink wrap and it made the move safely. Upon arrival it was a different story! They unwrapped the shrink wrap and padding and the next thing I know I see it stacked up with other furniture on top of it. The sides were skinned up and the top had a large gash from sitting everything on top with no protection. I had an antique game table that was ruined by exposing it directly to the pouring rain with zero padding or shrink wrap. The inlaid wood lifted and has several nicks on it as well. It was like having a football team on steroids inside of a China shop. We were given info on their insurance company and haven't yet received a return call. Paula the Coordinator's phone was disconnected. As I sit here and look at all the damages - antiques, pieces of artwork destroyed, pictures busted up and ruined due to rain exposure. It makes me sick to my stomach knowing we paid them in good faith and we have been treating so poorly regarding our claim. The owner has videos of him being the largest toll fine violator in the State of Florida. Amazing!!! And what a joke!!!

Wesley & his crews are amazing, they moved me twice & I will only use them again for future moves. Unfortunately, a couple of items got slightly damaged on the second move, but accidents happen. Wesley & his team took care of everything for us & made it right, just as he promised. I strongly recommend using Big Man Movers over any other company when it comes time for your move!!!

Being in the real estate business, I was pretty apprehensive about selecting a moving company for myself. But after this professional and smooth experience, I would recommend this company to my customers all day.The office took care of me with great care. They ironed out all the details ahead of time and I felt that everything was in good hands the day of the move. The guys that came to the home were professional and considerate of the items being moved. They were efficient and worked very hard. Everything arrived safe! Special thanks to Wesley and Eva!

I hired them to do 1 job that had 2 components: help relocate 70% of my belongings to a local self-storage unit, and 30% to an apartment in another state. The pluses: - I quoted with 2 or 3 other companies, but their price was unbeatable - They're flexible... and I negotiated directly with owner - No major damages, except 1 or 2 minor broken pieces (not worth making claims about) The minuses: - Very disorganized... this is their biggest problem! On the day of the move they did not have enough people for the truck loading, and/or swapped people in and out with other jobs, and/or the people they had were not strong enough (one guy was old and did not have the strength to carry heavy items without having to make frequent stops to catch his breath... I thought he was going to pass out at some point). And they took A LOT longer than originally promised to complete the job... they were supposed to be done by evening, but did not finish until 11pm (and I had an early flight the next morning... with wife and new-born baby). Also, at the delivery to the apartment in another state, they had 1 guy doing all the work (the guy who drove the truck), so I and some neighbors had to help the poor guy - Because we had 2 destinations, the local storage unit and an apartment in another state (as mentioned above), we had 2 piles of belongings, one for each destination... but they mixed some of it up... some boxes we expected in the apartment never made it up... so we ended up having to buy new stuff to replace what did not make it up there... this was not major stuff, but it reinforces their lack of organization in logistics - Hard to reach them prior to the move itself... exchanged many emails and phone tags without actually being able to talk to owner or assistant... they almost never answer calls and in most cases don't respond on the same day - I guess this may be the small company syndrome, where everyone does everything So overall I recommend them, although I probably won't be using them again.

We were blown away by the team & their great customer service while helping us move; when I walked in the house after work, they stopped what they were doing to introduce themselves to me and went the extra mile. We had to be packed up on a Thursday night then close on 2 houses Friday then unpack the truck at the new house Friday afternoon; they were very helpful & accommodating during the entire stressful process. Raheem (the team lead) was beyond awesome & very very nice, he did a great job leading the team & ensuring they were staying on pace, working quickly but also ensuring things were left exactly where we wanted them and nothing was damaged. Not a single dish was chipped/broken, they wrapped everything that was going in the truck (beds, couches, TV, EVERYTHING). Awesome moving company & we would certainly use them again.
