What the hell happened to you, Corrib? I enthusiastically hired you a few months ago to load my PODS storage container based on your stellar Yelp track record, friends' recommendations, and most importantly, from seeing your team in action moving one of my old roommates out almost 3 years ago, which genuinely impressed me. Has that much changed in 3 years' time? I did not even remotely get that kind of experience. Okay, let's start with what went well: the 3 person team they sent was insanely fast - they somehow finished loading my container in under an hour. Aaaand that's it. What went wrong: - My address. Incredibly, despite me booking my move well over a month in advance, and them sending over a final quote with all of my contact information correct, my moving team called me the morning of my move to let me know they were on their way to... the wrong address. Yeah, there was a typo. Luckily I corrected them and they ended up at the right address, but it was a close call. When I looked over my final invoice, it was not the same one I got for my final quote - someone had hastily re-made it from scratch, and forgot to double-check my address when they did. Excellent! It was probably in part so they could proceed to screw me over on my: - Insurance. When I booked my move with the owner, Kevin, I opted for one of their higher tier insurance coverage options: full value protection, $30,000 coverage. When they arrived, the foreman informed me that their moving software wouldn't let him select anything but the default insurance option, the one that covers practically nothing, and only by weight. How convenient! And of course, by signing right then and there, which I had no choice but to do because I was on an extremely tight timeline, I was agreeing to that paltry insurance policy. What a fantastic deal for Corrib! - Moving materials. One of the final conditions I'd worked out with Kevin was that Corrib would provide all furniture packing supplies, specifically, shrinkwrap and furniture pads. They did not provide any furniture pads / moving blankets when they arrived - all they came with was shrinkwrap. Guess whose furniture got damaged because my movers didn't arrive with the materials they'd agreed to and had to pay for the cost of the non-existent furniture pads anyway? - The movers. Although the team was experienced, I had some issues with them. I witnessed one of the movers drop a box on the stoop, probably in part because they were carrying the boxes on their backs - I can see why this technique might be a thing, since it means you can see where you're going when going downstairs, but it means you have to be careful because your grip on the boxes won't be as good. Luckily for them and for me the box he dropped was just clothes, but if there had been anything fragile in there it would've been all over. They also struggled hard at getting my TV back in the original box with the stand, and initially tried putting it in there with no wrapping at all. They finally put the TV stand directly in the container, so it of course got mangled. It seemed like they were rushing. The foreman, however, was the one actually loading and arranging the container, and he did a poor job packing my container. Which was weird, because he was clearly experienced in loading this kind of container, but I guess he's never had to deal with the consequences of a shoddy loading job. When I expressed concern at some of the things he was doing, he flipped out at me for daring to question him. Cool. - The packing job. So, why was it bad? The foreman stacked all of my boxes in a wall on top of my entertainment center. My entertainment center couldn't support all of that weight for 1 month in storage, so when I saw it after my move, the whole thing had bowed in the middle. Not only did the movers not bring all the furniture wrapping supplies needed, but they did a horrendous job with the one supply they did bring - the shrinkwrap. They didn't bother to cover the bottom / legs of any of the furniture pieces, and they did at most one layer of wrapping, which of course is trivially easy to tear through because it's goddamn plastic wrap. They did a bad job of tying up my TV, because upon opening my container the whole TV box had fallen over, flat on the floor. Finally, they did a bad job of hanging up moisture absorbers for the 1 month stay the container would have to spend in storage - they put them in places where they'd be most likely to get hit with furniture or boxes in transit. - The final cost. We'd agreed initially to a fixed price of $500 for the job, but once I'd realized I would need furniture wrapping materials, changed it to $210 / hour, 2 hour minimum, plus the cost of materials. Seemed fair! Somehow, that came out to $600 fixed price, not even *remotely* what we agreed to. So... yeah, what the hell happened to you, Corrib? If you're reading this, look elsewhere for your moving needs.

These guys are THE BEST!!! Seriously. They're amazing. So responsive and responsible. Also just such nice guys. Would recommend to anyone!!

They are amazing!!! They are fast, efficient, professional and just great guys. After dealing with downtown traffic and getting stuck in an elevator, they moved me in record time. I was so happy that I chose them as my movers. The price is reasonable and they are worth every penny.

Hands down, the best movers I have ever used. Kevin sent 3 guys to move my 2 bedroom apartment into a PODS moving container. I was stressed and nervous about everything fitting, but those guys worked their magic and got everything safely loaded, aside from my patio furniture (which I suspected would not fit). They confirmed that fact about halfway through the move, so I quickly listed that on Craigslist and found someone to pick it up immediately. The Corrib guys happily moved the patio furniture downstairs for the Craigslist person to take off my hands. The guys were all pleasant and efficient and really did a killer job. Highly, highly, recommended. (Also, no one asked me to write this review)

Corrib was recommended to me by a co-worker and now I highly recommend their moving services. I used them twice to move me to the East Bay and back to SF within the last 10 months. They were punctual, courteous, careful with handling fragile items, fast, and fair with the pricing. I couldn't believe how efficient Carlos, Esteban, & Brian were. Definitely use them for your next move!
