On 8/22/19, My $6K dining room table was reported destroyed and unrepairable. The company promised but never sent me the form clam form. Later I'm informed that claim takes over 30 days and insurance company won't cover it. Meanwhile I never received the insurance form to be filled out concerning the table that was reported by myself and your movers. Let me emphasize the mover that I requested again from the move to the storage unit, never showed up that day. The one guy on the job that was there the first time said, that his knowledge of this table was most likely the reason he did not show up that day to move me out of the storage unit. That being said, I don't recall hearing about any damages during your move. Nevertheless, if you give me your mailing address, I will send you one. Needless to say that based on the price of just over $6K, it was my most prized possession. I don't remember the name of the guy that moved me the first time. (I tipped him directly $200) I requested him the second time to move my furniture from the warehouse to my new place, since he was familiar in taking apart my bead and table. Instead I got Eddie (786.......) on the day of the second move, Eddie had to inform me that the table was damaged upon repair, including the glass was damaged that when down the "center" of the table. He wanted to inform me of the mishap that it was not him, but most stored in the warehouse from the first mover. Another thing that I wanted to add is there was one of the helpers that was at both moving events. He informed Eddie and myself that the first mover in charge, was aware of this broken table. PLUS that was the reason, he didn't show up for the 2nd move that was scheduled, that is why your office had Eddie come in to replace him. Now I sent a copy of the notarized document, 95% of most documents are scanned anyway. So let me know if you need the original. Thank you so much for your help during this time. Unfortunately, they said because so much time has lapsed since the move on August 21, 2018, (almost 8 month's) they will not consider the claim. There is a 30 day limit from the date of the move to when the claim is received.

Jones movers and storage was fantastic needed to move in 3 days they pick up the ball for a touchdown the movers were on time very professional and friendly reasonable rates quite happy will use them again

I would highly recommend that you did not use this company. I worked directly with Pete. I asked him to work our building on getting his paperwork to them: failed. Called me the day before asking if the building needed it. I call numerous moving companies to receive quotes. We went with Jones even though they were way more expensive then the others because it is climate controlled. Pete toke a 400.00$ deposit. When I received the bill it was 900.00. 400.00$ over the expected quote. When I got my credit car statement, they had charged the 400.00$ deposit on top of the 900.00$. This is almost three times over the estimated quote of theirs and the other companies I called. High way robbery at its best!!!! When I spoke to Pete about this problem, he was very rude. We canceled our credit card that we gave him because of theses charges. He has harassed us, calling numerous time to get a credit card. I explained to him that I will mail him a money order every month because we do not want him to have our checking account or credit card info. I called him asking him to email me the invoice, he has refused to email it until we give him a credit card number. I explained that I will give him a CC# once we receive the invoice. He hung up on me!! I called back twice, he let it go to voice mail. I have an attorney researching this case now. I will keep you posted!!!
