We used Long Distance to move a relatively small shipment of inherited family memorabilia/furniture from one coast to the other. They used a video call to estimate the number of boxes needed, took excellent care of these special items, and communicated flawlessly throughout the process. I couldn't be happier.

Professional, reliable and reasonable priced. We moved 2 cars from Connecticut to Southern CA recently. George was professional and answered a lot of my questions. They asked for 2-3 days when we wish our cars to be picked up. They called a few days in advance before picked up to arrange that it was going to get picked up on a Friday morning. We had to drive the cars to a nearest bigger parking lot as our street wasn't big enough for the truck. We got our cars in 1 week. Got a call a day in advance that cars were on the way, got a few hours time range. Then the truck came into nearest residential street where they can turn. We walked there to pick up our cars. No damage or scratches but very dusty.. all good after a car wash.

They did exactly what they said they would do, and when they said they would do it! Great customer service! Nothing broken. Nice guys too. We had multiple changes to what we were planning to move and they accepted the changes happily and with no additional charge. I really like this company. Other companies could learn from them.

These movers are the best. I am so glad I came across them and decided to go with them. We moved from the East Coast to the Bay Area, with lot of uncertainties. I didn't have a move-in date or a location. We were moving with a toddler. The company made it very easy and was always available. Customer care was outstanding with clear communication and documentation of every change. The quote is very realistic and itemized (unlike other movers who charge by volume). No hidden charges. Long Distance Movers are sensational! I moved from San Francisco to the East Coast and everything went flawlessly. The price I was offered was really, really great. Low enough that it actually made me a little nervous. But Jake was awesome, talked me through all the details. And I loved how he gave us exact prices for things like bookcases and bicycles in advance. This made it easier to decide what to move, and what to leave behind.
