The guys from Shannon Moving basically saved my marriage last week. They were friendly, helpful, patient with anxious us and our anxious dog, and did a speedy, excellent job moving our furniture (so much furniture) and boxes - not so much as a broken tea cup! The dream.

Friendly, reliable and affordable (especially with the yelp discount). They were super responsive and accommodating with scheduling, provided helpful recommendations and were extremely efficient. They provided wardrobe boxes for all my clothes, effectively wrapped TVs, furniture etc to avoid any damage and were overall nice guys. Very happy with service and would highly recommend. The ease of moving with movers is SO worth it! Never moving myself again!

Highly recommend. They were perfect for our move from SF to Palm Springs. They were friendly, efficient, fast, accurate in their quote and the Irish casual attitude was calming considering the stress of moving . And they were the same price or less than 2 other companies I contacted. What I liked best was that they confirmed exact dates for the trip. One day to pack and drive to SoCal. And then the second day to unpack and drive back. And how a little guy can put two heavy boxes on his back was amazing !

I don't write a lot of reviews. Sadly, our experience with Shannon was so HEARTBREAKING that I felt compelled to warn anyone else who is searching for a company to move all of their possessions. Long story short, Shannon damaged 2 dressers, a number of small items, and most painfully, ALL 5 of our canvas paintings. They also failed to bring the number of wardrobe boxes we requested and so stuffed the remainder of our clothing into regular boxes, thereby wrinkling and dirtying it. We know that there is no such thing as a move without damage. However Shannon DIDN'T EVEN PACK, wrap, or otherwise try to protect our artwork, as they had promised they would do. The canvases were torn, scratched, and fingerprinted. Four of them had great sentimental value and one was an irreplaceable $2500 piece. After all of this, Shannon apologized "for the inconvenience" and offered to reimburse us $63 (!!) stating that we didn't opt for the correct kind of insurance (which we had never been offered) to get appropriately reimbursed. If I could go back in time, I never would have moved with them and certainly won't ever again.

Shannon Moving is excellent in every way! I called a week before our move because we were closing on our house faster than I anticipated. Fortunately, they had availability. I spoke to Mairead who gave me a complete break down of the potential costs. I called 5 other moving companies: 1 never called me back, 2 were more expensive (similar reviews on Yelp), and 2 were about the same costs. I chose Shannon because of their great reviews and because Mairead was so helpful. Once I inputted item inventory on Shannon's online quote program, I received an estimate of final cost the same day (incidentally, our final cost came in exactly middle of the estimate and we got 5% discount for paying in cash). The move itself was as painless as I've ever had (I've moved too many times to count). We had a team of 3 (Chico, Luis and Memo) who were so lightening fast. They were careful to wrap everything with blankets and shrink wrap. Not one thing was damaged in transit. They provided wardrobe boxes that were incredibly convenient for all hanging clothes. (BTW: no matter how many boxes you think you need, you will definitely need more!) We packaged most of our smaller items so boxes were ready to go. Total move took 5.5 hours. Overall, we were very, very pleased with whole experience. I hope to not move again for a long time but would gladly use Shannon Moving again.
