The rate they provided was competitive (I got 4 quotes) and the three movers were professional and friendly. The guys moved all my furniture from a storage unit into a three bedroom single story house in 3 hours. I'd use them again.

I used Spartan movers for my September 5th move, I had several things go wrong with the move. * the hourly price they gave me was great 139.00 an hour but when they got to the house the amount started adding up. Where they get you is on the boxes. They cover everything with two to three boxes and charge you for each box. I knew this going in so we got our own boxes, when the movers get there they would not use them. It wasn't until I argued with them and talk to the owner that it was agreed they would use the boxes. So be aware they get you on the small things. They wanted to charge me over 300.00 just in boxes. * the move should of took no more then six hours and this was agreed with the guy giving me the quote. Movers get there and they are now say 8 to 10 hours. I was a military wife for 22 years and have done more moves then the average person, so I knew the moved should not take that long. So they ask me to sign a contract that stated they would be there no longer they may be there longer then 10 hours and the move could cost $2,200.00. Which is outrageous for a 15 mile move and the house was already completely packed for them. I end up paying $1,100.00 and it took 6 hours. * this movers themself were great workers. After all the back fourth in the morning one of the movers gave me attitude the entire day, and had snappy little remarks every time he could make one. * finally and why the one star, one of the movers slammed into our screen door and tore the entire handle off. He slammed into the door so hard he bent the door and we end up having to replace the entire screen door. I noted all this damage on the paper work while signing the final copy, the mover in charge told his boss over the phone and they said someone would contact me within two days. As of today we haven't heard from anyone we had to pay for the entire screen door ourselves. Note I told them this was a rental and we were doing our turn over in 22 days so they had plenty of time to get back to us. * overall I will never use them again or even recommend them to anyone. They were very unprofessional, didn't follow up on the damage they left and finally the hidden fees are really bad and unreasonable.

We moved back in August 2019 and used Spartan Movers. They were the only moving company that told us they could pack and move us in one day. Every other company told me it'd take 2 days - 1 for packing and 1 for moving. So those two day movers quotes came out to 16-17 hours and spartan said they could do everything in 11-12 hours in one day. Now I was really skeptical because they were the only ones that quoted us one day but I had no intention of packing for this move at 28 weeks pregnant. So we took a chance... And the day of, they showed up right at 9 am like they said they would. They actually finished the entire move - packing, driving 45 minutes down to SJ to the new place, and unloading in 8 hours. 8 HOURS!!! They did a phenomenal job packing. Not a single one of my kitchen items was broken. They actually skipped lunch so they could finish up early and all 4 of them worked so hard for us. This was the best moving experience I could've ever asked for!!!

We moved yesterday and I could NOT have been happier about the day. Juan, Julio and Mario were freaking ROCKSTARS. You know how everyone talks about how stressful moving is? DEFINITELY NOT WITH THESE GUYS! Our time slot was between 1:00-5:00, so we spent the morning preparing for them. I got a call at 11:58 AM saying they would be there in a half an hour and they were right on time AND early! How great is that?!? They came in, we walked through the house, showed them everything that needed to go, we signed the contract and before my pen could leave the paper, they were wrapping and taping things up! They were fast, efficient and SO careful. I had a HUGE L couch that took my cousin and I am hour to get into the house years ago! They got that thing out of the house in less than 5 minutes and I just stood there in complete admiration! They were SO COMMUNICATIVE THROUGH THE WHOLE PROCESS! They were very respectful, very nice and super funny! They went above and beyond for me. I had a painting in my house that was too big for my car and they are not supposed to take paintings, but they wrapped it up so safely and brought it with them in their truck! I could not say better things about this company and the 3 men that helped me during a big move! It started from the scheduling call, to the final handshake at the end of the day! Professional, efficient and just straight up BOMB.COM! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

They accommodated me for a same-day move of my 3br home! They were prompt, efficient, and fast with no hidden fees. I would def use them again in the future.
