Definitely worst moving experience I've ever had, third move in the Bay Area in as many years. The corporate company contracts out the work, and there is a very dire disconnect between the two. I was quoted ~$800 for my move sight unseen. I insisted they come out and do an on-site quote as I had a lot of furniture and they insisted the quote was reasonable and refused. Turns out the move was $1500 + $300 in tip (the movers haggled with me for 40 minutes to get this number). When the movers arrived they refused to start work because they thought it would take too long with just them and insisted on another two movers. After convincing me, I said fine and two more movers were sent. Still, they refused. I had to then get another truck before they would start the work. At this point we had 5 movers and two trucks (I had moved with the exact same furniture one year before for $800+$200 tip with three movers and one truck). Finally they got to work, and did an OK job. Then after finally finished the movers gave me the business about the tip and insisted I give them at least $300. I had had a long day and finally gave in. After the movers left I found a major gash in my refinished hardwood floors and a major dent in an expensive piece of art. I wrote in to Strongman about all of this and after one month they decided to credit me $100 total for all of this. So my $800 move cost me $1400 (forgetting tip) and a heck of a lot of mess. I would not ever suggest these guys.

They did a great job with our move. We usually rent a van/truck and move ourselves, but this time, we hired movers because we had medical issues. They arrived in the agreed-upon window, with wardrobe boxes that made it easy to move our little things. The guys were polite and reasonably efficient, especially as the last move of a busy Sunday. They even helped put our bed back together at our new place, since we would have had trouble doing it. I would hire them again for another move.

I hired Strongman to help me move on 5/26/2019. I was confirmed for three movers for three hours to help me pack up my 2 bedroom apartment in San Francisco. There was a nonrefundable $50 deposit. The day of the move, only two people showed up. One of them was pretty nice and worked hard to help us, but throughout the move they had an attitude like it was a major inconvenience to move typical things, like a couch or a mattress, down the stairs. Even though their attitude threw me off and they only worked for 2.5 hours, I appreciated them and I tipped the two of them very well at 40%. Now, here is why I am leaving a bad review. They charged me again for my deposit, which I did not discover until the next day. I called and called for someone to refund me the extra $50. Getting someone to fix this very easy and straightforward mistake was absurdly difficult. Even though I was told I would be refunded, it has NEVER happened. I call it a mistake to give them the benefit of the doubt but the truth is I feel like the movers were dishonest with their final bill and whoever is handling their customer service is really inadequate. I really wish I'd hired another company- these people are sketchy. **Just noticed this business has been flagged for fake 5 star reviews. I am NOT surprised. There are plenty of really good moving companies, don't waste your time and money with this one.

Wonderful, quick, on-time and careful movers! I scheduled this move five days before my move-out. They were very communicative and efficient from booking until the move was finished. Aleksei and Dmitry were so nice and took care of all my things. No dents or scratches :) Everything was wrapped and secured. I was especially worried about my desk, but they took the extra steps to make sure it made the move. Totally recommend!!!

Great movers. Moved from SF to Daly City. I lived on the top floor of a 5 floor building with no elevator. These guys did not complain and even apologized for taking 1-2 minutes to rest every now and then. Best value as they don't charge for the moving truck or the driving time unlike others. Also they were a lot cheaper to move on a weekday if you can fit it in your schedule. 5 stars. Highly recommended!
