My first time using long distance movers within a 3-day period, so I was concerned. However, I would rate the Customer Service a 10! Both Drivers who transported my Jaguar did great! They coordinated with my requested timeframe request for the car pick up from my daughter's house, as she has other obligations in the day. I really appreciated that and also calling prior to the pickup & dropoff. Also, everyone who I spoke with at Trico were friendly starting with Jim (in Sales), were all upbeat and assuring that my Jag would be fine from Sacramento to Chula Vista. Trico wasn't the lowest price, prolly average from my research shopping it. Customer Service is big for me though. Thank you for following up, Mr. Mendes. Both Jesse & other Driver were completely awesome! Also, Dena, Jeff, and other lady forgot name, provided awesome customer service by telephone and answered my questions! Someone was always reachable. Finally, I received my car in good shape and Thank You again! I would definitely recommend Trico!

I would give this company ZERO stars - the ONLY reason I gave it 1 star was due to the ease of the kid who moved my car across country. We hired this company to move our 3+ bedroom house from the Bay Area to the Boston area in December. When the guy first arrived to assess our house and the cost, he was nice and professional seeming. The day of moving, they had five guys to pack and move our house. They managed to finish by dinner. As they were finishing up, I inspected the house and found some items not in boxes. I requested they be put in boxes before they leave. I went down the hill to finish dinner and put my kids to bed. When I came back up to the house, not only did they leave ALL the doors, windows and lights on but they did not pack the items I asked to be packed before they finished. They actually "decorated" the empty house with the remaining items. My car was picked up and delivered in Boston in one piece and the kid who drove the truck was professional and communicative. The truck with the furniture arrived two weeks after they promised... and when it arrived, they came with three guys to unload an entire truck, while the truck driver slept in the moving truck. After all was said and done and I eventually unpacked the load - three weeks later, I discovered they lost a box or two. Now, mind you, I did get the additional insurance but it did not cover loss. There were items damaged in the move - naturally and the additional insurance covered it. When it came to the missing boxes, TRICO agreed to pay me $250.00 for the lost mid-century lamp, vintage record player, VCR player and drone camera. It is now July and I still have not received the "check".... I dealt with Nikki, who was completely stale and had no concern whatsoever about the items lost and damaged. He said he was "doing us a favor" by giving us the $250.00, which won't even cover a 1/4 of the lost items. I have had to call each week to remind them I have not gotten the check and before that, asking if they found my lost items. This company is the WORST and I would NEVER recommend them. Still waiting on my check.

Trico moved our car cross country in 4 days - much faster than we expected, which was great. The car arrived in perfect shape, although it was incredibly muddy because it came on an open truck in winter. If I don't want that in future, I'll pay extra for a closed truck. I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 because we got very little warning about both pick up time and drop off time. Trico gave us a 3 day window in which the car would be picked up, and said they would call us to tell us the actual day they would get the car. They made us nervous because we hadn't heard from them by the afternoon of the second day, and we were flying cross country ourselves the morning of the fourth day. I called them, and they said they didn't know yet which truck would come for the car, but would get back to me. They called me back a couple of hours later saying the truck would get the car that same evening, which it did, and the driver was super nice. On the pick up, we again got a couple of hour's warning - so it was lucky we were able to meet them on short notice to get the car. A heads up that morning or even the day before would have been better. Overall, a successful experience, but it would have been better if they had kept us updated.

First they forgot our bed, than when they brought it back (luckily we did not sleep on the floor). They did not put it together properly and one night it fell apart (beyond repair) in the middle of the night.

Super reliable, professional and honest. I relocated my family from Philadelphia to San Jose and they handled everything. They came to my house in Phl and packed up everything. Neatly, organized and safely. Gave me a date for my things to arrive and on that day they did. No games, no miscommunication. Nothing but 5 star service. If you are looking for a cross country move. Trico is DEFINITELY your company.
