I am writing this update as I chose 24 Moving again to help me with my most recent move last week. It was easy to get scheduled, they called when on the way and all my furniture was handled with care. The movers where professional and did everything efficiently. Recommend to everyone! Also pricing is affordable.

I WOULD NOT GIVE THEM 1 STAR. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!! Worst experience ever do not use this company. They were 3 hrs late and the left my friends stuff on the front lawn. There was no courtesy or consideration and we had to put back together the sectional they took apart. The guy Dustin (I hope I got his name right) was extremely unprofessional and the Caesar guy just following his lead. We had to help with unloading majority of the work despite paying them $225. I will be reporting them to the better business bureau! When we complained about tqhe service or lack there of the Dustin guy had the nerve to say "we should have cancelled". These people are unprofessional and if I beg you do not make the same mistake as my friend!

Can you give zero stars? My friend booked an appt and they were supposed to be there between 5-7 pm. They kept bullshitting her the whole night and bam! Never showed up!!

Zero stars isn't an option, but it's worth it. I'll preface the review by saying this is the company's fault, not so much the guys that came out. They worked a 14+ hour day. Yep, the company did that to their workers. They were 8 hours late. That's correct, 8 hours. We are moving to a condo, where they have strict building guidelines for when you can move. They started working on when that window closed. Their only offer to compensate was 10%, which doesn't cover the fines we'll be charged for violating our condo contract. Also, we inconvenience the entire building (and its single elevator) on our first day. Thanks, 24 Moving! The guy on the phone couldn't care less, and refused to give us an actual phone number to an actual person. He said he was just dispatch, and can only email management. Yeah right. Recommend this business to your worst enemies and bad neighbors. It will give them the bad day.

This has literally been the worst experience of my life ever moving. Granted moving is never fun, I received horrible service, the owner herself was rude, I was charged for two days of moving! After the movers were over an hour and a half late and didn't even make it to my building in time nor pack all of my things that were supposed to be being moved from my unit. I've never been more disgusted with a company. I literally had to leave tens of thousands of dollars of my belongings with these people over night because of them being late, reschedule an elevator (paying an additional fee), Miss work two days in a row, watch them move at snails speed and waste my time, money and patience. BUYER BEWARE. KEEP YOUR OWN MONEY. A MOVE THAT SHOULD HAVE COST ME $396 ended up costing over $700. Oh. That's my $3500 mattress just thrown slumped and deformed on the floor. Btw I've only seen one mover. UPDATE: We are now at $820 and it is all my fault. If you haven't filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and have had to deal with the same sick disgusting behavior of those people, I suggest you do so. Updated update: I was also left a sweet gift. Thank you for refusing to remove your own boxes from my apartment after breaking my bed frame and box spring.

I wish I had looked at the reviews prior to using this place. This is the most horrible, unprofessional, disgusting, sloppy, misrepresented, lack of caring, money hungry service lacking company ever. My move was the worst. They were to pack my belongings, dissemble and reassemble, break down and set up, and do it all in the 1 day I requested. These guys stopped and said they were tired. Didn't set up my beds because they left parts at the old residence and claim they lost some screws. We had to check in to a hotel because my 6 year old needed to sleep for school. I called for a manager or owner 99 times and to date no call back. They damaged my property, left boxes and trash all over my home, ate food out of my refrigerator without permission, and to top it all off, we have killed 5 roaches in my new home which they brought from their filthy nasty trucks. We never had roaches, the previous owners never had roaches, this company is disgusting. I had Termjnex and Truly Nolen come out to inspect the home and both companies said there is no trace of roaches ever being in the property and my inspection report that I had prior to closing also indicated no pest sightings or infestation. These nasty people brought roaches into my home from their filthy trucks. I will not so much blame the workers because they told me they worked 4 jobs before coming to me. That's way too much. However they obviously need the money. The workers want to get it over with but they lack care and professionalism. I'm sorry they have to be subjected to this kind of work because they seem like kind guys overall. I totally blame the owner/management for all the mess and the negative reviews. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB. The fact that I haven't received a call from management clearly shows this is a business that couldn't care less about their brand, service level, or the integrity of the company.

I am very pleased to use this company for my big moving. The guys were very helpful and kind to me and to my family. I was very stressful but trusted Movers made it a calming, very professional and detailed experience for us. On the day of the move their team loaded our empty boxes, boxed items we didn't have time to... They were not just sitting around riding the clock - they were very hard workers. Every time they came into the room, they asked me where to put the stuff. Everything was in a good position... Guys arrived on time and they were fast and careful. I have nothing negative to say about 24 Moving. Recommend them! Thank you for your service and help! Black Family

I hired these guys for a move that needed to take place in 2 days. Was glad to hear they were able to do it. There communication over the phone is very good. I received a confirmation email about them coming. The problem arises when they NEVER SHOWED UP. That's right, they were supposed to come by 5 PM and after calling every hour to see where they were ( I called up through 9:30 PM) they never showed up. So unprofessional. They didn't offer to come in the morning or do anything about it. Do your self a favor and save yourself a headache and pay more for reliability. I ended up hiring my own guys at 10:30 PM at night and doing all the moving my self. Didn't sleep till 4AM. I had to be out that day. If I only knew.. I would have picked another company for sure. Never again will I call them. They aren't reliable! When I called corporate to see where the guys were at 9PM, they couldn't get in touch with there movers. WTF! Hire these people at your own risk. Hate to leave a bad review but this company is so unprofessional.

Unfortunately minus was not an option, please do not use this company. NEVER show up on time, my schedule time was between 12-2pm they showed at 5:15pm, of course tired from previous jobs and whinnying about my move. They were unable to finish my move and had to return next day, oh of course impossible to get through the phone and or the dispatcher as Glenn said "was nothing he could do", well they charge me $590 something the first day and because they were unable to keep my schedule time they charged me almost the same the second day, my move costed over $1100. Nice trick on their end to make money. Was a TWO bedroom apartment and took them hours to load the truck and minutes to unload. You figure out just avoid them as much as you can or if you like to waste money call them. Less than minus zero

DO NOT CONTACT THIS COMPANY!!!!! While my first experience with them 3 years ago was satisfactory, my most recent experience this past weekend was completely horrible! The 2 movers they sent were incompetent and one of them, "Andres" was a harassing, game-playing individual, not to mention unprofessional and rude. Do not sign any contracts until the move is finished! Yet this guy continuously insisted that you sign the paperwork right away! He had an excuse ready for any resistance you exhibited. The other mover, "G" couldn't even maneuver a box spring from the second floor of a house, which, of course, took extra time. A couple of boxes containing my glassware "fell" from the top of their lift truck, breaking several items. My furniture was scratched up and a wall storage piece belonging to the landlord was damaged, which Andres admitted to damaging but did not replace. And they had the gall to complain when my token tip was too small for them that Andres said, "I don't need it" RUN FROM 24 MOVING - AND THE COMPANY THEY SUB CONTRACT TO - LA PROM MOVING - RUN FROM THEM!!! I called 24 Moving immediately after they left and complained to the person who answered the phone. I was told to call on Monday to speak to a manager and of course, no one is answering the phone. I plan to dispute any additional charges that may appear on my card given that "Andres" took screenshots of my credit card. DO NOT CALL 24 MOVING OR LA PROM MOVING - they are harassing, unprofessional and careless!!!!!!

WORSE THAN HORRIBLE. 2 BEDS, 1 SOFA, 1 COFFEE TABLE, 4 CHAIRS, took more than 3 hours. pick up location and drop of location was within 6 miles. They could not take the dining table cause they "did NOT have tools"... Oh but they did have the tools for a fee... (btw the "tools" was a screw driver). One of them was wearing a suit.... and he was CONSTANTLY taking breaks. guys were rude and SLOW, trying to get more and more time paid. I was Charged for the moving blankets, which are supposed to be free according to the quote)... everything is extra $$. As soon as we greeted them they said "BEFORE WE START DON'T FORGET THE TIP". WORST COMPANY, not just worst moving company...but WORST COMPANY.

The worst service ever, they arrived 2 hours later, took 2 days for 1 bedroom apartment move, 8 medium boxes and 3 small ones, everything was packaged before they arrive, and they took 2 days for complete the move, Cody was spike educated at first before I hired the company but after that he and the rest of the team were very unpolite uneducated, they left my sofa in the parking of the building because they need to live and didn't finish (after 2 days they didn't finish). They ruined my bed, and took a box with water that never get to my new home. Really DON'T hire this company. El peor servicio de todos, llegaron 2 horas despuws de lo acordado, demoraron 2 días para mudar un apartamento de 1 habitación, 8 cajas medianas y 3 pequeñas, todo estaba empacado antes de su llegada, y tardaron 2 días en completar la mudanza, Cody antes de ser contratado tenía una trato con cierta educación, pero después, él y el resto del equipo no mostraban ninguna educación, dejaron mi sofá en el estacionamiento del edificio tirado porque necesitan ir a otro lugar y no terminaron (después de 2 días no terminaron), arruinaron mi cama y tomaron una caja con agua que nunca llega a mi nuevo hogar. Realmente NO CONTRATE a esta empresa.

Omg, this is super unprofessional and on top of all they are huge liars! I was moving to Avesta Apartments. We got one estimate and in the beginning they charged us 5 times more. They broke my mirror and other stuff. They lost some of the stuff as well, which is ridiculous! We called the cops on that, those 2 guys, Pedro or whoever this man guy is didn't know what to say and couldn't answer logical questions which we and cops asked. We will go and sue them now and cops are on our side, we recorded all on camera, so guys wait until your business go down!

I have used 24 Moving twice for local moves and both times went great. They are professional, prompt, and fast. Price was good and well worth it. They wrapped all of my furniture, and they were careful. Laszlo and Gabor did my most recent move, and they were excellent. Regarding negative reviews: I see some negative reviews on yelp. Some of these complaints sound like they come from people who haven't used movers before. You have to have realistic expectations (I've used many companies) - movers are more rough with your stuff than you would be, they charge you for packing supplies, and things can break. If you can't accept these risks--you're not going to be happy with any movers. Do it yourself! But among movers, these guys are professional, clean, and efficient. Nice things: 1) they speak English. It's helpful. My Spanish is ok, but it was easier to avoid miscommunication. 2) no surprise charges. They review everything at the start before the move. I've heard horror stories... 3) ok sounds dumb, but movers get sweaty moving your heavy stuff. Can't avoid it. The guys changed to fresh shirts after moving out but before moving in. Appreciated that. Overall very happy and I'll use them again.

That's funny Cody. I didn't get a $90 discount I paid what you quoted me . After they scratched my sofa and to bad I can't post the pictures to let anyone who is reading this determine if they are minor .. Your so called $90 discount was for the stretch wrap that we sat there for 40 minutes waiting for someone to bring after they scratched the shit out of my sofa to prevent any further damage. At that point my sofa was in the hallway of my apartment building and unless I signed the form they where going to leave my sofa there. That's the kinda company I am dealing with so your response is expected . The proper response should be I'm sorry for damaging your property .

Let's just start by saying that every step of this move has been amazing!! I had called in and spoke with Jeremy on the phone about quotes, I was still indecisive about who I was going to get to move us, he sold me with his outstanding customer service and communication!!! He was very polite and respectful with all of my needs and very helpful to get me exactly what I needed in a timely fashion! They called me the day before to confirm, which is great since while moving things can be hectic.. Then also the day of when the movers were on their way. The movers showed up, I believe his name was Oscar, had explained everything to me of how things were going to go, what was included with my package, and even had plenty of supplies if I needed anything else to make it go smoothly. We filled out the paperwork, and then started. These guys didn't waste anytime, which I was very grateful since with any moving company "time is money!" They put everything in the truck with care and organization, wrapped my couches and all glass china cabinet with blankets and tape! I felt very comfortable and happy I was with such a great team of movers! After they finished at my old house, it was off to the new house! When they arrived, it was the same concept... Move fast and efficiently!!! Everything was placed in the new house exactly the way I had it before it left! I just wanted to take the time to let others know that I completely recommend this company and their great team!!! I'm so relieved that it's all over, but if I need to move again I know who I'm calling!!! So thanks 24 Moving, I appreciate everything and look forward to seeing you again!!! I wish I read all the terrible yelp reviews before I hired this company. They clearly do all that they can to draw out the moving process and rack up fees with boxes and tape. I was charged $75.00 for a large box they didn't need to use. I was charged for other boxes as well but 75.00 for one box really takes the cake! $5.00 per tape roll and they do all that they can to use and excessive amount of tape. They sat for an hour outside my house cleaning the tape off their blankets while my stuff sat inside in pieces. I asked them what they are doing and they said they needed to be ready for the next move. I told them that I wanted my stuff assembled and I would clean the tape off their moving blankets myself. When I noticed they were inside taking forever to assemble the furniture they disassembled (most of it could have been transported without disassembling) I asked them to just leave. I ended up paying 4x the amount I should have for an incomplete move as my stuff was still in pieces scattered about the new house. Don't be fooled by their Low hourly rate, you will end up paying much more! Worst company I have ever dealt with in my entire life.

Absolute worst moving experience ever. Company gives you a window of when they will come and says they will call 30 mins to an hour before coming but doesn't call when they are running late. So you sit around waiting for them to arrive and have no idea that your window is non existent. I called them all afternoon and they kept bidding for time saying that someone would call and no one ever did. When they finally arrived it was 4 hours after the window they gave me was over and the job wasn't finished because they came so late. The movers look miserable because they are on overtime and the company doesn't care and just keeps repeating the same useless line over and over again. The lack of communication is unbelievable, and I'm still being charged their minimum hours even though my job isn't finished.

HUSTLERS. We used this company to move 14 miles. Our original quote was for $300 and the complete move should have taken less than 2 hours. When the guys arrived, they took their time and began disassembling items that did NOT need to be taken apart. I asked them to stop and they refused. The guys said they couldn't load any built furniture into the truck and that they could leave but my deposit would be kept since I was declining their service. Pressed for time I let it go. Yeah, well they went over the agreed 3 hours by an additional 4 hours. We ended up having to pay triple the amount the company quoted just to move 14 miles. Most of the items were clothes and these guys found ways to make everything take longer than it should. I wouldn't recommend them. Knowing what I know now, I would have rented a small truck moved all of it myself. All they do is look for ways to charge for additional time. Skip these guys. Not worth the headaches.
