It was great working with the 680 Movers team. All the way from my initial call with Crystal Bailey to work out the scheduling, pricing, and contract details, to working with the crew that showed up on moving day. The entire experience was hassle free and pretty efficient. I had Valentine (crew leader), Jesus, and Miguel as my moving crew. These guys are amazing movers. Fast, friendly, extremely skilled, and great to work with. They took great care to make sure all my stuff was packed well, and there was no damage. They were very cognizant of time and made sure they did everything very quickly, kept me informed all the way during the drive to the destination, and put things exactly where I asked them to. I've unpacked most of my stuff already and am happy to say there is no damage so far. Highly recommend 680 Movers, and you'll be in very good hands if you end up working with the moving crew I have listed above.

What an absolute nightmare. This was my first time ever hiring a mover as it was my shortest move, only up two floors in my same building. When I first called they gave me a window of 2pm - 6pm and they would follow up that morning at 10:30am. They sent along a checklist, a contract, everything seemed legit. The day of comes, it's Sunday on Labor Day weekend and about 96 degrees outside. The agreement with my building was that I would be in the new apartment and out of the old the same day to avoid hundreds in fees. I started moving the light breakable items myself at 8am, taking it easy since it was just myself and I'm paying a considerable amount to move a small 500sf studio. I packed everything heavy because of this. The time the were to call came and went, I started calling them close to 2pm with no answer, no response. As time moves on I'm unsure if they are coming or not - do I call other companies? Who would be available last minute on a Sunday? I can't go to Home Depot and pick up workers as a single woman. I start moving the things myself because I have no idea if they'll make it or not. I already submitted my $200 deposit, what if they show up and I've hired someone else? I'm stuck! Between moving all this heavy stuff as a barely 5'6" 130lb female I'm downloading task apps and looking for help and calling 680 movers, no luck. At 5:15pm I finally get a call, the movers are coming from 6:30pm - 7:30pm and as I express my frustrations they offer me a discount, they'll only charge me for two hours and they'll be late (outside of their window) but will call 30 minutes before they show up. At 7:45pm on Sunday night they call, they're outside - I've moved the entire apartment 20+ boxes myself, the items remaining are a bookcase, desk, sofa and queen bed. There are three of them, the one who spoke english rushed me to sign for the two hours (he said it would take 15 minutes) and even had me sign to acknowledge none of the furniture was damaged - before they even touched my furniture. I question him but he says they'll take care of me. I start picking up the cushions from the sofa, I'm exhausted but I'm questioning them heavily at this point. He tells me put the cushions down, they'll get all of it. I go to walk the guys to the unit and they literally step on my cushions to get to the door, I'm floored. The original man had left the two guys there, they are rushing, banging everything, I'm literally just glad they showed up...I had been moving everything myself for TWELVE hours now, I'm tired. They scratched my bookcase, they lost the file cabinet pieces on my desk, they stepped all over my sofa (f my crate and barrel couch right?)! When it came to the bed they had taken a bit of time, I figured they were down getting tools. Their service agreement states they protect floors, they do not. Their service agreement states they shrink wrap furniture, they do not. Their service agreement states they provide moving blankets, they do not. Their service agreement states they disassemble and reassemble furniture, this is questionable. They finished my move at 8:45pm on a Sunday. That night I get into bed and my support crashes to the floor. I take a look and nothing was assembled, the support takes screws, certainly if they disassembled it they would reassemble it right? No! I had to wait until the next day because I had no strength to lift my temperpedic. Once I did I almost cried. Instead of unscrewing the supports they literally ripped them from the screws. There were boot prints all over my box spring, the upholstered bed had all sorts of marks. What a joke. Who are these people? So unprofessional. Do not trust them with your things. Moving is hard enough as it is. If you'd like to spend money to have your belongings mistreated, please book 680 movers!

The move itself was straight forward. 2x1 to a 2x1, the latter being on the second floor. They arrived at the top to the hour and right one time. Jaime and his team were quick to get here and ready to load. My husband and I had packed everything and just needed help hauling our things. No packing was done, only shrink wrap and furniture wrap was done. This took about 2 hours in total and the hauling took an hour. I was happy with the level of professionalism from Jaime and his team, and the suggestions he made with some of the items. I had an intricate mirror and he had suggested we haul this ourselves since he didn't have anything to protect it. I did notice, however, many of boxes that we marked "this way up" or fragile were stacked and on different sides. This made me extremely nervous and I've not yet to unpack everything and see if there were damages. When they arrived, it took them awhile to get to our place. It was about an hour and a half, but perhaps they needed a break or possibly just took their time. When they arrived, they were quick to unload, and most everything was unloaded in the correct area. Boxes, however, were not facing the right way up, and some of the fragile boxes were smooshed and were stacked with heavier boxes up top. I did have streaks on my new flooring that ended up as result of furniture being dragged. And the signing itself was rather disappointing. It states that you have to check off a few things before signing. One, in particular, was to check that nothing was damaged. I thought it was not something that should be checked off now, that should be given after the customer is able to unpack. In total; the move was 6 hours; with double drive time. So I paid over $1,000 for the move. Although my things made it on time, I was stressed and still stressed about my glass articles being broken. I emailed the company and told them about the mark on the floor and the items, and because my receipt was never emailed to me. I don't know if I'd choose them again. They are quite expensive and didn't quite make this process painless as I'd wanted.

Santiago, Mariano and Oscar were the guys that moved us from our condo to our home. These guys were FANTASTIC! Professional, friendly, nice and FAST! I used 680 movers 3 years ago and had a great experience with them too which is why I hired them again. They were efficient with their time, disassembled and assembled our bed and kids bunk bed without any issues and quickly! They even moved our washer and dryer down a flight of stairs with out Issues. I hope not to move again for ten years but if I do I'd use 680 movers in a heartbeat. You should too. Pricing is reasonable and competitive.

We had a 2 stage move from San Ramon, then storage, then into our new home in Danville. The San Ramon part went fine, but that is when things went south. The window for coming to our new home was between 2pm and 6pm on Saturday Aug 24. No call at 2pm or 3pm, so I called them at about 3:30pm for an ETA. At about 4:30pm I received an update that the crew assigned were finishing up another move. At 6:15pm, no movers and no one was available to take my call, so I left 2 messages on their vmail. At 6:47pm, I received a call from the crew chief letting me know they would be at our home at "about 8:30pm". at 8:30pm I received another call - "on our way". The moving crew showed up at 9:30pm. The crew themselves worked hard and efficiently, but did not leave until 12:30am on Sunday morning Aug 25. Needless to say, this was not the move i envisioned from 680 movers. The movers themselves worked hard and were great. But to have the company schedule them to show up at 9:30pm and work until 12:30am is unacceptable - to the crew and their customers. Shame on you 680 movers...

Excellent!! Made moving so much less stressful and easy with this company. Very professional and courteous team. They were very respectful with our furniture and wrapped up items nicely and took extra care while moving items upstairs. We have used this company twice so far and am very thankful we found them!

Great service.. everything was communicated in details in the email, and they came right on time as agreed.. The 2 movers (Dani and Salvador) took great care of the furniture: they wrapped all the furniture pieces with protective blankets and plastic wrap! They get paid by the hour yet they didn't waste time to get paid more like other movers sometimes do (that's a huge plus).. Their prices are good and on average compared to the market, but if you pay in cash you get a discount of $10/hr!! In summary, very professional company, great friendly movers (Dani and Salvador), highly recommended, and I'd definitely use them again!

I highly recommend 680 Movers. This was my first time hiring a moving company and they made the experience easy. This was a short distance move from an 1100 sq ft condo to a single family home. I received an estimate in a timely manner and it was lower than the three other quotes I'd received. Valentine and his crew were prompt, courteous, professional, and friendly and they completed the move in four hours.

WOW... what an adventure. I went into this scared to death as this was the first time I ever hired movers. AND I have heard nightmare stories and was terrified. I will say my overall experience was not tragic. It was also filled with stress and anxiety. First off we were scheduled for an afternoon move where a crew of 2 were to come and move me. They arrived at nearly 8:30pm and they were rushing from another move that started at 7 that morning. But 3 guys showed up and they put their hearts into the move. I should have been pissed. But they sent me three of the most adorable your Irish boys who were very sweet and cute. No way you could be mad at them. Calling the office was painful. I tried to not be a nervous customer, but I was and tried to play it cool. At 6:30 (which was the 3rd estimated arrival time or something like that) I called the office 6 times with no answer. I was having a small stroke fearing I was stuck for the night. Anyway... the bottom line is the job got done but they did not finish until after 2am and for all my stress I was offered $50 off my bill. They charged me 700$ on my card and I tipped them generously. I feel like I did not get my money's worth, but it was a hard call. We had work the next morning we still had to be ready for. I chose a mover because of physical health issues I do not have the ability to do these things for myself any more. I will say everyone, EVERYONE was polite and as professional as possible. I do not think I would hire them again... but I might have to check my own reality on the subject. So this 3 star rating is with a lot of push-pull about that fourth star in my own mind.

680 Movers is the way to go. I called 5 moving companies and 680 was very down to earth, reasonable, and very easy to work with. They gave a guaranteed quote and they stuck by it. The movers showed up on time, they were polite with my family and I. And they were gentle with our belongings. They worked really hard. I was impressed with their movers. I was impressed with my quote. They just got right to work and made a terribly stressful time, much easier on us. I can't have imagined not calling 680 Movers.

The team from 680 movers were professional, friendly, and extremely hardworking! Omar, Salvador, Josh and Rory worked tirelessly to get our move completed even though they did not finish until almost 1:00 am. We had a difficult move to our house in the mountains with heavy furniture, steep stairs and some narrow passageways. They were very careful to make sure that nothing was damaged. We are so appreciative of this team and also the professionalism of the office personnel of 680 Movers. The price was very reasonable and they even offer a good discount if you pay in cash. We definitely recommend 680 movers!

Total Clowns do not hire. These Clowns will charge you an absurd amount of money if you use their blankets. Then when return them they will only pay you back a partial percentage of the original charge. Thats if they ever do pay you back. They play games like acting for confirmation for the credit card card you used then when you give them confirmation they say oh Amy in accounting needs to take care of that but shes in a meeting all day but shes really good about returning calls. Notttt shell never call you back. Then after you call the receptionist shes say " ill take the reins on this" nottttt. Then after you call enough times the receptionist shell transfer you to useless Assistant Mgr. Name Mike who will do absolutely nothing but transfer it back to Accounting Amy who is completely useless and do nothing. 2 weeks later im still waiting. Terrible customer service from these idiots.

I was pleasantly surprised with how well these guys did. This was a short distance move with few boxes but lots of big furniture pieces. It was great working with Crystal upfront. I asked for an estimate ahead of time and it was so much lower than the other two quotes I had received I was a little leery. It then I ran into a friend that had recently moved with them and he raved about their work. They came in with two trucks and wrapped up everything in shrink wrap, blankets, and/or boxes. Then they loaded it up, including plants and even some rocks from my garden. Upon arrival they were quick and courteous, making sure to ask me when they placed furniture whether it was in the correct place. It took longer than the estimated time, but they stuck to the original quoted price. Then on top of that there was a great cleaning service for the old house! It was supposed to be a light cleaning but they spent five hours and really got everything looking and smelling sparkling clean. Of course I tipped them, but what a great deal.

Initial Move/Pickup: the front office was clear in the expectations and pricing; and the initial move went well. Hint cash price is literally cash, not a check. Storage: in my research they have one of the better deals on storage as it is not "self storage" and you do not have access. Final Move: movers arrived 2 hours late (9pm!!!) to the delivery window. 680 did not take responsibility and made up a bunch of excuses. A couple of broken items which 680 credited a minimal amount to our final bill.

DONT USE THIS COMPANY if you want to keep your sanity. The movers were polite young kids. They didn't talk, kept busy, pooped in my bathroom, and one smelled like alcohol (probably from the night before) but they were efficient and clearly inexperienced. I should've hired my friends teenagers to do this job for half the price. There was a problem (not even a major one) I called "customer care" and all they did was give me ambiguous answers, with no specifics, provided conflicting information, and were VERY unhelpful and unprofessional. Additionally, they argued with me, were defensive, didn't take feedback and apologized because they WOULDNT help me. I assume they think by saying "sorry you are having this problem, we won't help you" will make me happy. I couldn't wait to get done with this company. I tipped the kids (and yes, they are young adults with not a lot of experience) and thanked them for the job. It wasn't their fault. I have never had unprofessional movers before. Lesson learned.

Had a great experience working with 680 Movers! The coordination ahead of time was easy and very simple. Day-of, James (team lead) Mariano, & Saul were extremely helpful. Only intended for them to take the large items of furniture but kept offering to take more items. I was so glad I took them up on their offer for assistance in the end as o didn't realize how much stuff we actually had. Will plan to use them again in the future when we move again. Our move of pre-packed and disassembled items took about 5 hours from what I recall of a 2 bedroom home. Thank you!
