I have used this company 3 times and have been impressed each time by their professionalism, efficiency and good price. Unfortunately, on my last move, there was a mishap with my washing machine. However, Mike immediately returned my call and arranged for the washer to be repaired in a timely manner. I highly recommend A-1!

If you're thinking about using A-1 Affordable Movers absolutely do not Mike the owner should not own a business they broke items and first blamed my daughter and two days later they found the pieces they broke and had the nerve to send me a photo of the broken pieces he never tried to reimbursed in any way he should not be an owner it is not acceptable what he did and I just want to put it out there run from A1!!!! My next step is reporting him to Better business Bureau

I used this company as a referral from a friend who had used them twice. They were professional, efficient and got done in great time. I have heavy furniture and 2 flights of stairs with tight corners at both locations. I would highly recommend and use them again.

Probably my easiest move ever, and I've had several. Mike, the owner, was extremely helpful when I called to schedule. On the day of, the movers (AJ and Alan) showed up early, were extremely efficient and helpful, and got done in less time than I anticipated. It was a third floor to third floor move and they exceeded my expectations. Thank you again, will be using you guys in the future and recommending to my friends.

My parents hired A-1 to move 2 recliners from their home in NPR to mine in St Pete. After AJ & Bryce left my mom called to tell me how great AJ & Bryce were...she couldn't say enough about them. I'm writing to say I agree! They were both very courteous (they shook my hand when they got there & when they left), friendly, knowledgeable & hardworking. I was very impressed with them & how they spoke about their jobs & the company they work for. They truly love their jobs & based on what they told me, they work for a pretty great company!

Worked with these guys after having been canceled on by a "big boy" moving company. They did an amazing job and didn't damage a single wall or piece of furniture. The owner is a stand up guy with a great attitude. The guys helping him were also extremely helpful. My stuff was extremely heavy and awkward to move not to mention being on the 3rd story with no elevator. The guys didn't complain even once. They wrapped everything up nicely to ensure it wasn't damaged in the move. Couldn't be happier!

I've used these movers in the past and had wonderful experiences with them. I've referred them to friends who have also had good experiences. Most recently, I set up a move. On the morning of the move, I received a text message saying they wouldn't be able to get to me that day but they would get me taken care of the next morning. I wasn't thrilled about this but didn't have many options so I had to be okay with this situation. The next day, I received a text message 30 minutes after they were due to arrive and was told they were running late due to someone having car trouble. The missing individual would arrive in 20 minutes and they would be on their way. 3 hours later, I received a text saying "I guess we're both screwed. My guy didn't show. I can reschedule you for first thing tomorrow". I told him not to bother. I had already taken 2 vacation days to get this taken care of and had to cancel personal plans due to this failure on their part to deliver. I never heard back from him (the owner). I had to call another company who was eventually able to completed the move for me. I don't know what happened to them over the years, but this isn't the company that made me happy in recent years. Maybe they just had an off week. I don't care to use them in the future.
