I was recently moving from Deland FLORIDA to Sanford. I contacted All My Sons sand scheduled a date and time for the move. The movers arrived late. When they looked at my packed boxes and furniture one of them commented that it was too much. I told them that when the move was scheduled I told Chad it was a one bedroom. They left and never came back. I still have not received the $50 deposit back from them.

They said they needed a third truck. Raised the rate $100 an hour then just threw the stuff in the third truck. Looked like a 5 year old packed it. Had 7 workers, 3 were great, 1 okay, 2 dumb as stumps and inconsiderate of the furniture and boxes, and 1 was the rudest, most arrogant, pushy individual I have ever met. Never saw the owner or the sales rep ever again. Would recommend a reputable line in the future. Told me they needed 3 trucks, driver said they just need help. Quoted me $5000, charged $6000, broke table, lost glass top and wheels to bed. Stay away!!!!!!! Shame because some of the people were actually good. Update: contested 3rd truck. AMS rep called my wife and was not just rude but abusive and attempted to bully her in to paying. We have heard from Amex that the company is the subject of many complaints. Apparently the bait and switch concept is the one they love the best.

I booked for a July 5th move two weeks ago. I was supposed to have the movers show up at 9am. After waking up early the day after 4th of July, i get a call from Chad at All my sons. He apologizes and says four of his guys called out and they are late. He offers a 10% discount (which i never got but besides the point) to move at 11 instead. At 11 there is still no signs of them so I give another call in. I ask about the status which Chad replies with "I told you between 11-1" also not true. I wait til 1pm and there's still no sign. I call in numerous times and no one picks up. At 2pm finally someone does pick up and it's Chad. He answers the phone and then upon hearing it's me hangs up. The movers finally show up at 3pm. The three movers were professional and efficient and took care of the job. I have to move again in three weeks and will not be using this company because of the terrible front office and the unprofessional behavior of their office manager Chad.

This company is not doing themselves any favors by having a 1.5 star review on yelp to start but to offset that they have 4.2 stars on google with 388 reviews. So I'm confused. I was quoted $380 for a one way 12 mile trip and 2 hours for 1 couch , 1 desk and 1 kitchen table from one house to another, which seemed a bit high but I understand people are moving a lot during summer and paid a $250 deposit. July 5th we needed these items moved as the first house is being sold on the 10th July 3rd we were suppose to get a call for the time schedule.. no call July 5 we called them at 9am. They said 12-1pm arrival . At 2pm no call from company we called, they said first job ran over cause tenant misled them and they needed 2 trucks, new time was 3-5pm. At 4:40 still no call , so we called again got a "I'm going to put everybody on this, the dispatcher and operations manager...etc" was going to call shortly. 5:05 pm we called back after waiting all afternoon with 2 people in 2 houses unable to leave as we were waiting for movers. We asked to cancel but started to suggest they could reschedule and do it for the more reasonable $250 deposit money to which we were told.. "Refund already issued" and call ended. I missed my best friends birthday dinner at 6pm across town since the job should have been done by 2-3pm. The person I bought the items from won't give me my money back either because "I am not a store and took it off the market, so I can't sell it now, I'll have to give it away" So now I'm out hundreds of dollars for purchase, couldn't even negotiate a different day or a discount. I award this business no stars and may god have mercy on your soul.

My niece recently hired All My Sons Moving to move her. They showed up late and with a truck that was too big to get up close to the house. The movers tried to talk my niece into them going to get a smaller truck and her paying them not the company. When she refused, they told her they contacted the company and they'd be back with a smaller truck in an hour. Two hours later when they hadn't showed up she spent half an hour or more making phones calls trying to find out where the truck was. Corporate finally told her (around 1:00 when the truck was supposed to be there around 8 am) the order had been canceled. Now all of her belongings were outside waiting for this truck that was supposed to show up to move her and they refused to come back. Leaving her in a position where she had to go rent a uhaul and her , her parents, and her boyfriend had to move her . My opinion, avoid this company at all costs

They called and canceled our move 2 days before our move date saying "a truck broke down" after just confirming yesterday. Looks like they've used that excuse before. I asked they gentleman on the phone "why did I get bumped?" and he responded "you don't have to cuss at me." I'm still unsure what he meant by that. After being unapologetic and just a jerk on the phone, I did cuss at him and hung up the phone. This happened today just so you all know that this is a company with a current customer service problem. Thanks for nothing to this garbage company.

Two days before our move we received a call that a truck had broke down and they would have to cancel. No apologies. Just a bad attitude. I am appalled with this company as they had confirmed our appointment the day before and we have been scrambling to find another mover. I would highly recommend using another company for your move.

This is my second attempt at writing a review. My first review mysteriously disappeared after about 24 hours. My move date was April 13th and 2 weeks later i am still dealing with the chaos of items randomly thrown into boxes, unwrapped, and many many items broken/damaged. The carnage ranged from unwrapped figurines to table legs. When I requested an item be wrapped or protected, I was met with "attitude", both verbally and increased roughness of belongings being thrown into boxes. Luis was the worst and the most disrespectful of my belongings. Carlos even told me "Luis is my home boy, if you mess with him, you can move yourself"! Another worker, Marcus, was careful, respectful, and packed items, appropriately. When I contacted All My Sons, Walter came to my house and walked all rooms with me to provide an estimate. This was supposed to be a 1day move, 45 minutes away. The packers frequently complained that Walter didn't know what he was doing and never packed a box in his life! This was my 5th move in my lifetime and the worst experience ever. My biggest regret is that I didn't check Yelp or the BBB first. This was the move from hell! Do not use this company!

Stay away from them!!! Not only arrived 3 hours late, they charged me $1000 over the quote they gave me over the phone and broke my furniture, totally broken the table legs and I have to buy a new table, scratched every surface possible, they assembly badly the king bed, all the 4 legs at different levels and they ruined the day bed as I have 20, yes 20 planks that they did not use to support the mattress, amazing! totally not professional, I am so mad and disappointed

They schedule me to send an estimator at 10:00 am. Half an hour later I called they didn't find me on their schedule. Said they will call me back and no one did. Oh well I guess they don't care if customer waits without respond and no show. If I have to wait for an estimator for an hour, I wonder how many hours movers will be late. I will pass on this company who doesn't care about no show. Will not do business with them. Js.

It's really hard where to start, late but that's expected. Driver and crew member physically fighting in the street, then the truck breaks down and it took them 2 days to deliver the furniture a distance of 60 mile. Delivery crew seemed okay until they ducked out quickly before assembling half the furniture, broke the legs on a couch. So if you like sloppy shifty service use theses guys!! Buyer beware!!

Worst moving company, absolute scammers, will hide costs from clients. They scuffed and damaged most of our furniture, and completely destroyed our dresser. When I contacted Chad the owner to discuss the matter, he was a complete asshole in how he handled everything. I had other vendors in our new location installing countertops and internet as the movers where working, both commenting on how terrible this moving company is. DO NOT USE THEM!!!

This crew did not finish my move. What was promised as a one day move turned into a 2 day move and at the end of the 2nd day, they just started slinging boxes to be done and go home. Many items were broken and the men were unprofessional at best. The office didn't care and didn't want to resolve the gross underestimation of time and work needed to move my whole house. The actual cost of the move was much higher than the estimate. Beware.

Today I used this company to move. To start off with the movers complained the whole time of why they needed three guys to do the job. Then they complained that I was going to tip on my card and not in cash. Then to make this move even more terrible, somehow the movers "forgot" where they placed my bed frame. And on top of it they are extremely overpriced for the service you get.

What a horrible company, move and overall experience. I walked the estimator through the house to show him all the items being packed and moved; he seemed to really know what he was doing and assured me the move would be no problem. He was SO wrong. The movers showed up and immediately gave attitude, saying there was no way the job would be a one day job and that the estimator didn't know what he was doing. They got worse and worse as the day went on and the next day, they were just out and out rude; throwing boxes, making comments and lazing around. Do not hire this company!

Did not fulfill their commitment to wrap everything. Did not take proper care in handling granite. One table base arrived in 25 pieces. Office manager Chad Berkebile lied about how he would ship granite tabletop. It arrived in 5 pieces. Various hardwood pieces arrived from storage to unwrapped and deeply scratched. One 22x22 piece of granite went missing. All of this and they charged more than their quote. Stay away from this company!

I have moved several times in the recent past with thid company from homes to homes and from homes to apartments. Yesterday I hired them again to move me from an one bedroom apartment to another apartment to buildings down in the same complex. I chose them because I trusted their service ans because as it stands I needed help since I am having a severe case of gout. The 3 movers and the truck arrived at my apartment around 8 am. From the begining we had issues. They sent me 2 wardrobe boxes without the hanger inserts so all my clothes had to be on the floor. I called the office and got the charges removed. I was happy by the level of service provided although the boxes were still useless to me. my issues started around 9 am when the crew started slowing down. Taking one box at the time down and complaining about having to carry 3 bags of pillows. Going as far as making trips in and out without caring anything. Needless to say that a move that should have been simple as it was a very small apartment, and only moving 2 buildings down took over 9 hours with 3 movers and it didnt get completed. They poorly organized the truck and refused to take my shoes, my laundry room plastic bins and some other bits and ends around there. Today after paying over $1200 to be moved I still have to fight my gout and finish on my own. I called and complained but was told to wait for call back. No response as of yet 24 so far and waiting. Dont hire them! what a scam

This moving company is not careful, experienced, courteous, or professional. I moved 10 days ago and am still dealing with the mess and broken items they just threw into boxes. Whenever I requested they wrap or protect an item, they became surly and began throwing things into boxes unprotected. Packers loudly complained that the person that estimated the job didn't know what he was doing and had never packed a box. I have moved 5 different times and always had a fairly pleasant experience with other companies. This was the " move from hell ". I rated this company 1 star because 0 stars is not an option. Steer clear of this outfit!

I had been told this would be a smooth process. All that was required was to pick up our household goods, place them in a climate controlled environment, then in less than one month delivery them to my new home. When our household goods were delivered we discovered over $15,000 in damage. I have before and after pictures to document the damage. I wouldn't recommend All My Sons to anyone! 10/26/2018 I was contacted by Doug from AMS. We reached an agreement to which I am satisfied. I appreciate Doug calling. This matter is resolved.

DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY! THE OWNERS ARE ASSHOLES and they do not care about their customers!!!! I've moved around 6 times overall and this was the worst experience ever. They quoted me something that was not accurate so I ended up paying over $900 for a 3 bedroom, which is ridiculous. For that $ I would of rather payed a more professional moving company. The actual movers, the guys that helped us moved were great, super nice guys and they were very careful with all my stuff. I did prewrapped everything so we would do the move quicker. They are obviously not professionals so it did take them way longer than it should. Now, the issues. 1) Robert, this is the worst human you will ever encounter. Worst customer service skills and terrible attitude. I had called him 2 and a half hours into the move to let him know that none of the rooms were in the truck yet and that the move was taking way longer than what he said it would. His responds "Hahahaha let's be honest, you knew a 3 bedroom home was not going to be moved in 4 hours"...like WHATTT EXCUSE ME no you asshole I did not know because YOU told me it was. This is YOUR job not mine and you are quoting me a wrong estimate just to get the job, so BEWARE I've read bad reviews about all the other owners and trust me THEY ARE ALL TRUE. When the movers finally arrived to the new house like 2 hours into it the owner calls them to tell them to leave...the job wasn't done. So the guys had no option than to leave. We had to move the washer and dryer ourselves, remake all the beds, and move boxes upstairs ourselves. I am pregnant, I should not be doing any of this. That is why you pay for a service. The owner thinks he's doing you a favor and treats you like it. NO Robert you do not offer favors you offer a SERVICE that we pay for (very expensive thanks to your lies and wrong estimates). 2) they brought a truck that did not fit all my items....ummmmm like isn't the point of moving and paying to get ALL your stuff to the new location? I don't get it. This is just a 3 bedroom home remember and the items did not fit. So we had to go the following day after the move and rent a uhaul ourselves and move tables, the bbq, decoration, and a few boxes ourselves. At no point did the owner apologize for this, offer discount, or offer to at least pick up the items left at the old location. He would legit just laugh and get aggressive. Please, my advice to you is that EVERYTHING the reviews say are TRUE the owners are assholes, they quote you wrong on purpose and then they laugh at you. Save yourself the stress and go with another moving company.
