Burden Free movers were great. They arrived on time and were very professional. They were super quick and took care of all of our things. They were also super careful and respectful of our carpets. I would use them again in a heartbeat. Hoping I don't need to move for a while though!

They were amazing movers! They were professional, careful with my things and super efficient. I actually trusted them to move my huge plants and they survived! I'm super protective of my plants so this impressed me. We also have a piece of vintage furniture that could break at any moment that they handled with ease. The only criticism I have is they arrived later than I thought they would be, but to be fair they told me they had an earlier job. Just set your expectations properly and allow for at least 2 hours behind. Plus I wish they had more wardrobe boxes. They are still 5 stars in my book!

Reasoning the comment under Donnah A's, I was there while the move was in progress. Hire other movers, even if it's $50 more, it'll be worth it because they won't walk with your money. They'll get it done quick. Both workers were able to carry one item of furniture BY THEMSELVES, they did not use two people per furniture so the items are not as heavy as the owners are describing. Even the couch used just one person! Second, the distance of the truck they parked as close as possible which isn't a whole lot of walking. My dresser was scratched, and while you quote that taking care of items is first priority, it didn't seem that way. I did not want to hire them longer because who knows how many weeks they'll be moving my items!!! When I moved into my 3rd floor apartment, I did not hire any movers for my items. 3 people were able to finish ALL items within 7 hours, while the two workers did only half my apartment. Definitely not a good time efficient company, and desperate. I should have known when they tried changing my moving times. Never go for cheap companies!

Move from my Studio to a One Bedroom yesterday and was so happy to find help. I send mass messages to multiple moving company about a week and a half before my move and they were one of the first to reply. The prices are comparable to other places and definitely felt it was a fair price. Although they arrive a few minutes late I didnt mind since they had a huge truck so navigating must have been difficult. Two movers, although not proficient in English, we use simple phrases to give instructions and they understood us just fine. Move was quick and efficient. I move out of a building with an elevator but the new place had stairs but I was so impress they could move large amount of items up so fast and efficient. Move out took 1hr30 minutes since they had to wrap things up but move in was about 40min. Amaze that they were able to park a huge truck in the tiny driveway right off of the busy main street. Definitely couldnt have move so fast if it wasn't for the help of these professional! I read a few negative reviews but I didn't experience anything like what those yelper had describe. They got the job done, fast and they work hard!

They helped us move recently. Everything was perfect. Their quote is reasonable to other movers in Bay Area. The movers were really fast and professional and Tina was very communicative. We offered them 20% coz of their hard work, but they demanded more, which I felt was too much! But ended up paying them anyways. The only reason I give them one star less is they asking for more than 20% tips. ‍

I originally hired them for 2 hours on 10/1/19, they took their sweet time and I had to pay them for an extra hour. I paid cash, plus $15 tip for both of them On top of that, they did not unwrap anything and didn't finish my whole place. Here are the specific items that they took 3 hours on: -2 bookshelves -1 small bed frame - 1 couch that pulls apart -1 full-size bed -1 malm dresser -1 small entertainment center -2 plastic shelves - air conditioner -8 boxes After their help, I still had to move items myself for another 7 hours more. I need a refund, it was ridiculous, and created more stress because I had a time limit.

I decided to go with Burden Free to move some furniture today and I am so glad that I did. They were on time, treated my furniture with care, wrapping each item with a blanket and stretch wrap, they had all of the equipment you would expect including a big truck. They worked fast but didn't cut corners with safety or care of my furniture. They had a 2 hour minimum which was the lowest I have found and their prices are very competitive. I would recommend them to anyone. I read a few complaints on Yelp regarding their fluency of English, but of course this wasn't a problem at all. They understood very clearly when I said things like "over there..." or "right over here...". It's moving furniture, how complicated is that going to be? Give Burden Free a shot, I recommend it.

So, we used Burden Free moving to move out of our house that we were prepping for sale, in April. We used them again in August to move from our temporary rental in SF to our new permanent digs. We had to cancel 2x due to our place not being ready and Burden Free was completely understanding, didn't charge a fee, they were great. The day of the move, which was my 3rd move in 6 months, went oh so smoothly-I was so happy since I was completely frazzled after all this moving. Again, nothing broken, no damage, hard working guys who worked quickly. I really would recommend them to anyone who is moving, they're great!

I yelped a few companies to get a quote to move 2 recliner couches from one house to another. Burden Free Moving was the fastest to respond, had the best value and same day availability. Tina was very helpful with providing a quote over the phone and coordinating the pickup. Our job only took 2 movers and they took very good care of our couches and covered them with a seran wrap type of cover to protect the leather. We had taken the couches apart ahead of time for easy transport. The guys were fast, efficient and kind enough to assemble the couches back for us and connect all the wires. We would definitely use them again for any future moving plans!

I've always been leery of moving companies, this was my first time using one. Tina was great, I have been texting her over the weekend because I was out of state and wasn't sure on my exact arrival time. Of course my flight was delayed, but she was very understanding and made the necessary arrangements to have the movers begin a bit later. The movers Eason and Mike were awesome. They arrived on time, were efficient, and were super friendly. They moved everything before the time I thought they would finish. I highly recommend burden free moving company. Thanks again.

Please stop harassing me to remove my review Tina! Couldn't understand a word they were saying, when I asked a question they kept going in circles but would not answer my question. They insisted that the price was extremely high because they're supplying so many extra parts, however they're going to charge for all of those parts as well, such as trolley, boxes, truck.

They did a great job! Efficient and very strong! Able to lift very heavy furniture with no problems! All the packing materials are included in the cost which is fantastic! Would highly recommend!

Thank you!! Highly recommend!! They are super nice and I really appreciated the much needed help from Burden Free Moving this past weekend. Two younger guys arrived with a nice big truck and on time. I had 1bd home full of furniture and other misc belongings and they took really good care of all of my stuff (wrapped everything in plastic). They picked up everything and delivered all of it in a timely manner (4.5hrs). Nothing was damaged and and they even carried my couch up five flights of stairs because it wouldn't fit in the elevator. One of the guys spoke English and one did not. I made sure to message all details about the pick up address and drop off address before the actual move date and everything turned out great!!

Incredible service. Tina was so prompt. All within minutes, I requested an estimate, confirmed service, and had two movers (Eason and his colleague Dong) out to our storage unit three hours later to help us move stuff out. Both movers were so courteous, respectful, and very, very efficient. We couldn't have moved in three days what they moved in three hours. And, so very reasonable. I work for a Bay Area staging company and we have been using Burden Free as our moving company for over 2 years. They are AMAZING.
