Great experience. A very complex move requiring 2 trucks with 3 guys each truck to two different locations. It was handled expertly. I would recommend them to anybody.

I would not recommend this company based on unprofessional customer service. I reached out to College Hunks for a quote on 4/8/19 and they responded quickly to set up an in home appt to get an estimate done on 4/11/19. Well, on 4/11/19 (2 hours before my appt) I get a text saying they can do the estimate via email. I responded by email with a list of my inventory. I was ready to book with them because they were cheaper by the hourly rate than a few other places I had spoke with. However, here I am 5 days after my email was sent and Trey Kennen has not responded to my email or text messages about the estimate. I have taken my business elsewhere and would never recommend this company. HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL AND POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!

disappointed in College Hunks. Messed up our furniture(2yrs old) and walls. We paid for 4 movers, received 3 on the moving in day, 2 that seem very inexperience and could not put beds back together, nor a deskand dented and scratched our walls. The move was supposed to be completed on 8/30, however they didn't come back to complete the damaged beds until 9/3. They offered $150 and we paid over $2000. What a shame, will never use nor refer them to anyone! This was by far the WORST experience we have ever had with moving.

Will and Elian were friendly, courteous and professional. They arrived on time to my close by location. I highly recommend this service to anyone needing to have old furniture removed or donated.

I hired a couple of guys to pack a Relocube for me. They were nice guys, got the work done quickly, but in hindsight I wish I would have used more experienced movers. My boxes marked "fragile" were placed at the very top of the pile and had come tumbling down during transit. A couple of them broke open. I gave these guys a pack of 4 ratchet straps and they only used 2, definitely could have secured things better. I also gave them several pillows and blankets, which they didn't utilize. I would recommend them for unloading or to haul bulk items away, but I would NOT hire them to load my stuff again.

Horrible customer service. No communication between office personnel and the actual workers. They called 1.5hrs ahead of arrival time to say they were going to be late because of traffic. Seriously? And then show up 1hr and 20min late. Still charged full price and even threatened to dump the items in the driveway if payment wasn't received immediately by debit/credit card after arrangements were made for payment by check from an estate. If you must use them DO NOT talk business with Trent. Below average is higher than his customer service. P.S. I posted a review on their website and they deleted it.

I hired College Hunks to come remove and donate some items we no longer needed. I called them in the morning and they were able to come that same day. The two guys who arrived, Bodhi and Elian, were outstanding. They carefully removed my items from the house and were very efficient. I would hire them again for sure! And I would ask for Bodhi and Elian!

I have now called twice did a call back service once received no call. Now I'm on hold and it's been nearly 25 minutes but the call back service says they will call back in 3 minutes?!? But I'm on hold this long? Look I'm just trying to cancel at this point.

They will move your stuff but was extremely careless in doing so and manage to damage multiple items . I tried contacting the manager to help resolve the issue but never got a call back. I would not recommend using this company at all... The reply to my comment below is not true... cause the job was under my wife's name and not mine. I have spoken with many potential customers and have steered them away from using College Hunks

Gotta say I'm not terribly impressed so far. Had an arrival window of 2pm-4pm, and got a call at 1:30 saying their job was running long, and it would be 4 or 4:30 before they arrived. I initially thought about rescheduling, but decided to wait it out, and was promised a call with updated ETA. 5:30 rolls around, no updates have arrived, so I call the toll-free number; they in turn called the local franchise who called me back. Determined it would be 7pm or so before they could arrive, so I asked to reschedule for today. They said they'd be here at 10am. 10:45 the phone rings, and they say my arrival window (no window was mentiioned when rescheduled) was 10:30 to 12:30, and they're going to be at the 12:30 side. At this point, I've already taken 2 half days off. I cannot wait until 12:30 for them to START the collection process. I'm supervising this clean out as a favor to a friend, so there are multiple people annoyed at the sloppy time management issue. Waiting to see if they can redeem themselves.

I would give them negative stars if I could. They were haphazard with my stuff, treating it like junk. They damaged my furniture. They were so disorganized, they took 10 and half hours what could have and should have been completed in no more than 6 hours. At $150 per hour, that's a significant waste of my money. They even took items out of partially packed bins and threw them loosely in the truck. They took apart furniture but took no note of where the pieces and parts were losing several parts to my desks and my son's crib. After we told their office of our issues, we were promised a call to work out what we could for adequate compensation. They never called when they said they would. This company is a complete waste of your money. Do yourself a favor and never hire them for anything... ever.

My wife and I just moved into our new home and the old tenants left a lot of junk behind i.e. dinning table/ patio furniture/ grill/ etc. The gentleman from CHHJM were on time and very polite. They made short work of all the stuff but what made the rating go from a potential 5 star down to a 2 star was the way in which they packed the truck. They literally just threw stuff where ever leaving a lot of empty space which ended up costing me an extra $100 since the truck was filled above the top of the bin. Had they just taken a little bit of extra time packing the truck I could have got all the junk removed instead of having some misc items left behind and saved myself the extra $100. I was kind of bummed too that nothing was donated. Most these items could have and should have gone to salvation army or a goodwill. If you have items that should be donated I would call JDog Junk Removal.

Enjoyed working with Christian S. and Christian T. to move us into our newly built home. They were both very polite and efficient. None of our items or walls appear to be damaged. The only downside of CHHJ is the price... and, the call center needs to get better at quotes and estimates. However, I'd gladly pay more to have my stuff taken care of. Choose CHHJ for your move!

After several attempts and unanswered calls from Jacob concerning damaged furniture and overbooked time they get 3 stars In response: I have two unanswered and I responded to voicemails. The damage has yet to be compensated and credited back to original form of payment

The College Hunk Movers pulled into my neighbor's driveway to turn around. I watched them back into my mailbox and couldn't get out the front door fast enough to stop the truck from plowing into the box. The sound of the hit brought a neighbor out of her house to find them in her driveway...they appeared to be very nice guys and I hope they make good and repair the box. Allen was at my house at 9a to do the repair and recement the box in!!!! I'm impressed!

Better than I could imagine. Bryan the owner met us and reviewed the project. Gave us a quote and that is what we were charged. They were professional and cleaned up. They even did a walk through to make sure we were pleased. We had a 20 year old hot tub removed from our deck and was a hard job. They removed decking and neatly cut up the hot tub to be removed and hauled it away. We would definitely use them again and recommend them. Joshua and Charon were awesome and hard working. Did a great job. This is a update we used College Hunks to remove an old swing set. Xhulio and Matt were awesome. Very professional and worked hard and got everything cleaned up and good as new. Highly recommend.

I had to move out of an apartment and put my stuff in storage for almost a month until i closed on my condo. I used college hunks moving both times -- moving out of apartment into storage, then from storage into condo. The college hunks were very polite. However, the first group wasn't very good at tetris and weren't very efficiently putting things into the truck. They had to take some extra time to reorganize so everything would fit. I wasn't able to supervise too closely because i had to also deal with a cleaning crew i hired. When the first crew stacked things in storage they ended up putting heavier boxes on top of lighter boxes and crushed some of my plastic containers. The second crew was more efficient. I'm not sure which of the two crews were responsible but my dining table and book shelf got scratched up. Yes they were older and used but the surfaces were in good condition until after the move i noticed they were scratched. I'm not sure what the protocol is for tipping but when you pay at the end be prepared for the tip. 15-20% of several hundred dollars adds up quick.
