We originally scheduled a pickup with salvation army but they wouldn't take our stuff. While in a pinch and on a time crunch, I sought out this company for a quick junk removal. Although I was not too excited about the pricing, we needed this stuff GONE ASAP. College Hunks were at my house within the hour of scheduling and were very quick at loading my junk into their truck! The two young men were very courteous and very kind. Also professional!! I gave them both bottled water for this hot summer Florida day and a nice tip for their trouble. I will definitely be using them again in the future!

We have used College Hunks Moving twice now. We were happy with both moves. The three movers we had last month were friendly. They are a bit pricey at $150 per hour for three movers, but they pretty much worked non-stop. Wish they didn't charge a travel fee on top of it.

Double the time, double the quote. My 67 year of aunt hired this company to load and unload a 1-bedroom apartment in a moving truck we provided on a Thursday morning. She was quoted $658 plus taxes for the entire job. It would require a crew from Port Richey/St Pete to load and a crew at the new apartment near the Brandon/Plant City area to unload. On moving day, the loading crew showed up close to an hour late and took twice as long as quoted to load the truck. Due to this the unload crew would not be available as it was getting late in the day. This St Pete crew would now follow us for a one-hour drive, during rush hour, to Brandon to unload. The crew also stopped for a rest and refreshment break during that time. Unbeknownst to us, our Aunt was getting charged for this time. This was not part of the agreement. Fast forward to the new apartment. The crew took twice as long, as quoted, to unload the truck and lost pieces of a bed frame. The crew had to look through my aunt's boxes/personal belongings for almost 45 minutes to find the bed frame pieces, with no success. I believe they left them in a parking at the first apartment. At the end of the day a crew member called his manager to discuss the dollar amount and total time it took them to do the job, as he saw it was an unfair price. The manager did not answer his phone. The crew member touched basis with the owner after about 10 minutes of trying, Ace was his name (727-422-2205), to discuss compensation or reimbursement for the bed frame. He said he would have a brand new one delivered to her apartment the next day (Friday). No attempt was ever made to have one delivered. In fact, my aunt and I left numerous messages on his phone days later. It is now Tuesday and he has never returned our phone calls. We can only imagine the owner has gone into hiding in an attempt to pay anything out. In frustration he wins for now. We will continue to elevate this until someone listens. We hired this company based off of good reviews. I will say they are nothing but scam artists. Not only have they lost furniture pieces, they have charged my aunt almost double ($1,275 + tax) due to taking double the amount of time quoted. Due yourself a favor and find another company before hiring them. You will save yourself money and headache.

My move was a total disaster from start to non-finish. I say that because they did not finish the job and I had to hire a second company to do it. The following issues occurred: 1) they did not bring the packing materials requested, 2) they sent 2 people rather than 3 and the truck could not fit all of our stuff 3) it took 12 hours to move a 2 bedroom condo within Tampa Bay (and the job was not completed), 4) One of the movers lost his temper when I asked for them to figure out how to finish the job. He started yelling, swearing and calling my husband names. We decided not to call the police and try to get the job done. Probably the wrong decision in retrospect. 5) They refused to call me back to finish the job. I'm disgusted with this company!!!!!

Truly amazing workers. We had not moved in many years and needed packing help. They worked with us for 2 days (day of packing and day of moving), each day finishing quickly and efficiently. The crew was in a good mood, friendly, careful, thorough, and went the extra mile to get everything right. They came in under budget and on time. Couldn't ask for more in a moving company. Highly recommended!

We had College Hunks move some furniture from our second floor to the garage. They were prompt, cordial and efficient. I would use them again in an instant!

This was the best moving company i ever had. I moved from New York to St. Petersburg and had the worst moving experience ever. I was hesitant on booking movers again but i found college hunk, let me say i didn't regret this. My new move was from St. Petersburg to town n county , and this was the most Affordable and the most efficient group of men. They wrapped, loaded, drove 45 minutes and unloaded everything in UNDER 3 hours for a 2 bedroom apartment. Tod and Anthony communicated well with me , asked me exactly where and what room i wanted things and even took things to the trash for me. Call and ask for this amazing duo of men, i promise you won't be disappointed! Thank you again guys!

Over all these guys weren't too bad. Moving me in 9 years ago took an hour and 20 minutes. It took the two boys 4 hours to get me out and there was only 12 new items in the house. So not only that but they lost my CPAP system. And they lost my electric razor that was in it a total of over $900. I just got off the phone with the guy and said oh will give you two hours off because you sign the paper saying everything was out of the truck both of these guys knew that I was very disabled and exhausted. So I will be using an old system I just got the rest of the equipment to run at today Sunday morning I thought I was going to be dead because of this and this would be very different complicated situation for them. So they also to show how inept these boys were left a piece of glass in my kitchen still wrapped in their blanket so they could have very well miss that little bag. To try to prove it to these people they don't even care. Using these people it all depends on what you have and if you're able to check their work. I would not use them ever again I don't recommend them. And the only reason I had raided them is because it tells you you have to rate them before you can submit

The guys were great! Called ahead, on time, courteous, friendly, and a reasonable price. I'll definitely call again if I need stuff hauled.

College Hunks is a great company. From my first contact with the company everything went well. Cherryl, the operations manager, contacted me with an estimate quickly and all paperwork which was emailed shortly thereafter. The movers arrived on time after a call ahead notice and the guys were courteous, uniformed and hard-working. Shane, Chad and Ryan were simply the best movers I've ever had and I've moved many, many times. Oh, and I got a follow up call that evening to make sure everything went well. Thank you , College Hunks !

I love this company. Bob, "Captain" and the two other men couldn't have been kinder or more efficient. They cheerfully cleaned out 5 rooms of junky old furniture from an 8-year foreclosed double-wide mobile home in one hour. Their price was better than the competition, (I checked around). They did more than I asked --no problem. And while most of the furniture was well-passed its use I loved the fact they they would make sure the LR coffee table/end tables set, (in decent condition!) went to a charity. I highly recommend them. Thank you so much!!!

I called last minute and they were able to remove stuff that day! The guys were really nice and personable!
