I used Jon and his team to move from San Mateo to SF in 2018 and I was so impressed by his no qualms, straight forward service. He quoted a price a week before and that's the price I got. He was fast, practical, and nothing got damaged. He even noted not to bend a piece of art I had! Regarding communication- sure he's cut and dry. But he's a mover. There isn't a receptionist or anything. I asked questions. I got answers. I was satisfied with the service. Best price I saw!

It was like pulling teeth communicating with this guy. He was sarcastic, vague, and totally disinterested on the phone. He asked to be sent an email with details, and then responds with one sentence that answers no questions and provides no confirmation. A few phone calls later, and I make the mistake of suggesting too early a time, my bad. Instead of suggesting another time that works well for him, he says he can't "physically be anywhere at that time" and is argumentative saying "I don't understand why you're concerned about traffic, I'm not driving all over the universe." Well then. There are plenty of movers in the city, and I'm going to go with someone who puts at least a little bit of effort into communicating professionally.

Jon and his team saved the day for me! I made the mistake of thinking that my Home Depot delivery service would also install my old appliances in a different room and haul away the old. I was so wrong! Jon was very responsive and luckily available to do this work within 2 hours of calling him. He is very professional and efficient, and also reasonably priced. I would call him again in a heartbeat!

Everything went smooth with my move with Jon and his partner and it was a great straightforward price. In addition to making a couch fit up in an apartment with some tight twists and turns, he dismantled a bed for me that we didn't move. I would definitely hire Jon again.

Got a hold of Jon to pick up a fridge I purchased on craigslist. Jon was able to schedule same day - no problem. Quoted a very reasonable price for pick up & delivery, plus move current fridge down to my garage. I got caught in traffic and was going to be late to meet the seller and Jon at the pick up location. Jon offered to pay the seller for me, and meet me at my residence with it. Super! He also asked if I had measured the doors inside my house....oops! They were too narrow to it through so he took off the doors. He charged a little extra for that and everything got accomplished in record time. Jon is very conscientious, and took great care not to scratch walls, hardwood floors, etc. It was a no brainer to give him a big tip! He also has a handyman service, which I will totally keep in mind down the road. Highly recommend his services!

Jon and his team truly are heroes. I called them on Saturday morning and at 4:30 pm on the same day his entire team was at my house to help. I had a +500 pounds heavy Sub-Zero refrigerator, which was left behind a previous moving team from the night before in my main stairway blocking access to my unit to the third floor. I have a steep and nasty tide switch back at the 2.5 level, which turned out to be a major hurdle. An hour later .....all done..... Jon and team brought this monstrosity upstairs to the kitchen with planning and strength. I will use him again anytime and his price was very reasonable.

Jon has moved my belongings four times. He also put together my Pilates equipment, antique bed and armoire. He is efficient, prompt, careful and conscientious.I highly recommend Jon's services. Nothing like a reliable, honest guy who does a great job.

I should have written this review years ago. I moved back to San Francisco about six years ago. Jon helped me, solo on occasion and with another guy other times, to get rid of an old couch, move in several pieces of furniture, and set up a big bed--and likely other related stuff I'm not remembering (it has been several years, after all). What I do remember is that Jon is reliable and knowledgeable. He gets stuff done. He and his guys know their stuff. They can be a tad curmudgeonly sometimes, but they do a great job, and I'd use them again. I'd recommend them to you, too.

Had a sudden cancellation of some movers to move a full-sized wine refrigerator (delivery people would only leave downstairs and we live on the 5th floor of a condo building). Called Jon in the morning and asked if there was any chance he could be there at 4 pm the same day to move it in. He and his team were there at 3:57 pm, were very efficient, careful, and pleasant. Couldn't have had a better experience - and the price was very reasonable too. Will definitely be using them again!

Jon & Co. are the best. I've used 'em several times...always responsive (text/phone/email), ready and willing, and with reasonable rates. Right size truck and crew for the job, big or small. I trust 'em implicitly...if you're looking for great, fast and affordable, you've found it.

I needed to move a heavy appliance from a location to another one within San Francisco, both second floors of Victorian buildings, long, steep narrow stairs. Their estimate came promptly and was reasonable. They showed up on time and were done in just over 1/2 hour. Painless transaction ! Jon is not the most talkative of the people, if you want to chat with a person go somewhere else, but he definitely knows what he is doing.

I gotta say, Jon and his guys were AMAZING! I have moved many times and I have never had movers beat me to my location. They packed up my storage unit so fast and effieciently I was thrilled. I left the storage unit at the same time they did to get to my new home. I drove a small miata, they had a full moving truck and somehow they managed to get to my house and start unloading before I got there! I cannot recommend these guys enough- do yourself a favor and save another moving headache. Jon and his crew will get the job done so fast - it makes the company's name make sense.

I've used Jon for two different moves and he has been great to work with. Good quotes, on time, fast movers. I have lots of antique furniture and Jon takes good care of it all- I've never had any damage to my stuff during the moves. I have also hired Jon to install some vintage light fixtures that were giving me a headache to install. He came over, looked at what special hardware I needed, went to the hardware store, came back and up they went! I would definitely recommend Jon and will use him again for my next move!

I had Jon help me move a large piece of furniture and he did a great job. On time, reasonable pricing and they did a great job with a complicated move. They were careful not to damage the piece of furniture or the apartment despite having to do some fancy maneuvering. He ended up having to take a couple of doors off the hinges and move other furniture around, but didn't charge me extra for the additional work and they were super fast with it. The only reason I have four stars instead of five is that it wasn't necessarily the friendliest of interactions. It was fairly obvious that they were annoyed at how complicated the move was going to be. That said, a few eye rolls and heavy sighs didn't prevent them from doing the job well, so I would still definitely recommend hiring them.

In 2006, I found these folks on Craigslist. I warned them they'd be moving a huge object and informed them of the weight. They said they'd give it a shot though they had never handled something so heavy. Well, they moved it out of the warehouse and left it in the middle of the parking lot, frustrated. Of course I had to pay the warehouse movers to move it back into the warehouse! They drove off and left me a nasty voicemail that I should never call them again. Unprofessional and juvenile. I'm sure they're just fine with the average couch.

I've used Jon with Fast Movers 3 times. I have had them help with smaller moves and my last move which required 4 different pick up locations in SF! They are fast and get the job done efficiently and with care. Jon even helped above and beyond with my last move when some heavy items were stored in a storage loft location I could in no way access on my own. He climbed up and brought down the heavy shelving himself. I was also in a pinch as I was dealing with dismantling something under my kitchen sink. He was very helpful in navigating the problem and in providing a tool I did not have. I would definitely call them again for my next move in SF. They have always been on time or earlier than me! Reliable and fairly priced.

These guys were great! I called to move one piece of heavy furniture from SF out to Moraga and they took were able to do it within 3 days. They showed up 5 minutes early and promptly came and delivered my piece. Then I had something else to move locally and they didn't even flinch, but agreed to take it for me. They are efficient, very careful and easy to work with. I would recommend them to anyone. Their prices were extremely fair and reasonable!
