My family and I would like to acknowledge the wonderful job that has been done so far by First Class Moving Systems, Inc. of Tampa, an agent for North American Moving Services. We are actually doing two moves with them for two separate houses. The first was a move with storage at their facility and the second move will come in late July when we combine the two houses for one shipment to Phoenix, Arizona. And we are also shipping three automobiles with them. This review/commentary concerns the first move. Howard Young and his skilled and professional crew, Marlon, Derrick, and Cherise, packed us out carefully, intelligently, and with a practiced and proficient speed. From the moment they entered the front door, they never stopped working until the job was done. And they were friendly and relaxed and a joy to be with. My family and I highly recommend with confidence this highly qualified company and Howard's amazing team if you are ever in the need of a fairly priced, responsive, professional move. Finally we would like to also thank Roger for his consulting services pricing the move and especially Stephanie for her kindness and professionalism in coordinating all of this. We look forward with confidence to the second phase of our move. Dennis Sanderson

Look at the reply from William F. Please! I am very disappointed in the manner he conducts himself. He clearly does not care about the customers. If I don't comment I am doing a disservice to those who are considering using this company. If anything goes wrong they belittle you and avoid the issue. Most unprofessional voice for the company and the service will leave you heart broken when you are a victim of theft. They steal jewelry and do nothing about it. Please do the favor to look for another company! There are many great services other than this one with less hassle. Ohhh and they will treat you like a human being :)

This agent was a disaster from the moment their estimator stepped through my door to estimate the number of boxes, etc, required to move my household from Florida to Wisconsin. The crew assigned to pack my belongings failed to label at least 30 boxes. It took me 5 days to find my coffeemaker which was in a large box with absolutely nothing written on it, Not even "kitchen" was on this box. I found it in the basement! I do not recommend this agent. I can't even give it one star.

I hired First Class Moving Systems out of Tampa. I made a great mistake to hire them. When I called this company employee name Angel Vanderwood sent me an estimate with one-third price than what I paid. Later company employee Roger Thompson came spend 3 plus hours to see my moving items and gave an another estimate that he told it should be most accurate because he spent three hours to each of item and measured. They took payment in advance by phone took my credit card information. They charged me $2579 in round. Scheduled day driver came without boxes and left early. We wasted one full day because driver did not come prepared. Driver also told do not worry I will adjust this time on next day. Next day, head driver was lost most of the times. They took break half of the time so it took way longer to complete the job. When they complete the jobs, it was not done all the way and they wasted so much time and I did not signed the finishing contract. I did not received any call from First Class Moving System that why I did not sign or how was the service rather because they have my card information previously they charged near $1500 me again without calling or noticing me. When I received their email it has been already charged. I called them they were so RUDE. Hiring First Class Moving System was the greatest mistake I have done. I then had to dispute the charges and as of today there is no positive solution yet from them. This was the WORST moving company I have ever hired where I could hire many local companies in Tampa Bay area where I lived for 30 years wouldn't rip me off. I was so wrong and it was a great mistake. Please think before hiring this moving who will steal your money. I WILL NOT RECOMMENT TO HIRE THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE. ALL EMPLOYEES ARE THIFT AND STEAL CUSTOMER MONEY!!!

First of all - the actual movers were excellent. Friendly, professional, and prompt. That said - Phil Grinstead is a snake in the grass. He will nickel and dime you, and flat out lie about what he has told you. I even called to make sure everything was ready and there were no hidden fees. SURPRISE - moving day comes and he has forgotten that he told us our move would include our washer and dryer, and now we have to pay an additional $350 for his extremely RUDE technician to come, unscrew some bolts - NOT EVEN UNSTACK THE WASHERS, and say (complete with air quotes), "it's 'Unstacked.'" I will never recommend that sleazy salesman - Phil obviously lied to the movers as well because they were unaware and unwilling to rebuild our bunk beds upon arriving, despite Phil assuring me they would. Spend your money elsewhere. Thanks for screwing us over, Phil. I've also reported you to North American.

I booked this company simply based on the price quote, and then I read the reviews. I know I know, but I needed to get the movers hired. I became nervous after reading the reviews for this company and North American, who they are contracted with. HOWEVER, everything with the move was great. The movers themselves were courteous, and timely. My price quote was exact, and I was not charged anything extra. My things came a couple days after I arrived, and not a single thing was damaged. I highly recommend this moving company.

I cannot say enough great things about this organization. They shipped a truck of mine and have helped countless people I know including professional athletes, celebrities, etc. They are not the typical discount mover......they are first class in ever aspect and treat you fantastic. I'm now working with them personally and they have been nothing but fantastic. Their communication is top notch and their ownership is very giving and forward thinking. I believe you get by giving and coming from contribution and that is exactly what they have done with me. I'm very grateful and appreciative of their help.

I hired First Class Moving Systems out of Tampa my city for 33+ years choosing them over LA movers SCARED I would be ripped off. I made a MISTAKE choosing this company that moved TWO bedrooms for my children only from Hunter's Green in New Tampa to Kailua Kona, Hawaii 4,500 miles away! The signed, written contract (not a quote was for $4,500 so when my Bank of America credit card sent a statement it read: $14,500 so I called FCMS the owner would call me back. He never did! The next time I spoke to him he was RUDE. I was told by FCMS, "You moved in Int'l Waters" when in fact they had my Hawaiian address so they knew WHERE to deliver the two bedrooms! Then I was told, "We had to break the two pallets down due to HI laws & ship it in separate containers" when it arrived it was the two EXACT pallets! I quickly contacted the HI Police who spoke to the owner who assured them it was a "clerical" mistake they would correct it. They LIED in fact I closed my BoA credit card after the two bedrooms arrived in Hawaii in September in October & in November two more authorizations came through after FCMS put in two more! On a CLOSED credit card? I called BofA who informed me ONCE you start a transaction with a merchant they can keep putting in authorizations until I die! This is AFTER the furniture was delivered! What bots! Hiring FCMS I then had to dispute the charges from $14,500 it went down to $8,500 this was the WORST moving company I have ever hired in fact I chose Tampa instead of LA movers thinking Tampa where I lived for 33+ years wouldn't rip me off. I was WRONG. Think TWICE before hiring this moving rip-off company that should face criminal charges for THEFT. I could've flown back 4,500 miles with children to raise to file a lawsuit then fly back & forth it wouldn't be worth it! Save yourself a TON of GRIEF, AGONY & $$ find another moving company! This work gets a -* if they had that category. What happened I learned a bit too late is that FCMS never entered the info. into the system I hired Northwest American Van Lines who has an agent FCMS if I hired the agent in Plant City that move was put in the the system. What's the difference? 10 grand! What FCMS did without my authority is make the move themselves so they could STEAL 10 grand in fact they triple billed me then ended up with a lion's share of doubling my signed contract for the move not by the poundage by both pallets so choose a honest moving company. Aloha, Mahi

Absolutely no integrity! I am not a customer (nor will ever be one) and will warn others as well. My neighbor hired them for a move and while they were working they held up the elevator for 3 full days. One of the days, my aunt needed the elevator to get downstairs with the baby in the stroller, so she asked them to send it up after they were done unloading it from their current trip, they did not and loaded it up again...So I went upstairs to let them know that we need to be somewhere soon and cannot wait for such a prolonged period of time while they keep loading it up again and again. One of the movers quickly got very rude, telling me to go home and swatting his hand at me as if I was a fly, over and over again. The more I asked him not to speak to me that way the ruder he got and then swiftly turned his back on me and caught me right under my right eye with the edge of a big folded box under his arm....We called the company to file a complaint and after their rep spoke to their movers they said that they claimed nothing of the sort happened (what a shocker that they will back up their coworker's story) and so unless there's a police report filed there's nothing they are willing to do about his obnoxious behavior. What kind of company needs an actual crime to be committed by one of its employees to discipline them in any way??? We have moved quite a few times to know what matters when dealing with a moving company and integrity is a crucial component because you are basically relying on them completely to treat you and your belongings with respect and charge you based on agreed upon price. The company's movers are representative of its culture and values, sometimes you may have a bad apple and then you deal with the customer service, when both demonstrate complete indifference and are extremely rude it's a big red flag as to how they do business...You've been warned.

I had a great experience with Frost Class moving. When I took a new job it was my responsibility to find a company to move me even though my relocation was handled by the new company. I did my research and from the initial consultation to the continuous communication to the actual pick up and delivery, everything was reasonable, timely and safe. If you are in the Tampa area and need a trustworthy and honest mover, go no place else.

I choose First Class Moving Systems for a relocation to North Carolina last year. I was told my delivery would arrive on a Monday when I first signed my contract. I was then told when they took custody of my shipment the delivery would be on a Wednesday. This then was pushed back to late Thursday afternoon. This was the result of poor staffing and nothing like weather or anything out of their control. Several items were broken and it took 6 months to have the items repairs and I am still waiting to be reimbursed for damaged items that cannot be repaired. This is 10 months later. I would not recommend these movers at all.
