I read all the other reviews when I found out that my new mattresses were being delivered by Florida Transfer & Storage as I had never heard of this company. I'm sorry the other reviewers had bad experiences, but mine was top-notch!!! I received a phone call saying they would arrive within 45 minutes and they actually arrived sooner than that. They came in, introduced themselves to me, removed the old mattresses from two separate bedrooms, installed the new mattresses, cleaned up the packaging, and were gone within 10 minutes. No fuss, no muss! Personable, professional delivery men. Very polite and respectful. I would encourage anyone reading the reviews on the company to give them a chance. I have no doubt that the other folks had issues, but I can happily say I did not have any issues. Job well done, Florida Transfer & Storage!

DO NOT LET THIS COMPANY MOVE YOU!!! They were contracted to move a mattress set for Sam's Club and total botched the delivery. The driver called and asked for directions to the apartment office, we asked the delivery guys if we could pay $20 dollars to change the address to his apartment a couple of blocks away. The deliver guys then tried to negotiate with him for $50. We told them to wait a few minutes and we'd call them back. We tried to contact them again and tell them to deliver to the original destination, however, they apparently left with our mattress set without telling us. We continually tried to call and text them over the next two hours but they would not answer their phone or return our texts. The next morning I called their office and talked to the owner who was a total jerk. He refused to reschedule the order for his next trip into Gainesville and when I told him what had happened, he basically called me a liar. Trust all the 1-star reviews on this company because they are well-deserved. STAY AWAY FROM Florida Transfer & Storage or you will be sorry.

I had a sofa delivered by the company as part of 1 stop bedrooms white glove delivery. They guys had to borrow tools from me and then did not screw a bolt in far enough. It was sticking out the bottom of the rubber foot and resulted in a lot of damage to my brand new floor. Since I did not see this damage until I moved the couch a couple weeks later, the company will not fix their mistake. Seriously avoid this company if at all possible.

This is how Florida Transfer and Storage delivered my new cabinet today. The end of the box is smashed and wide open. The metal pieces inside have been ruined. Keep in mind that I did not open the box. This is exactly how it was left for me. They claimed that they took a picture that shows that the box was in good condition when they left it and that the damage could've occurred on my front porch after they left the box. Really? Trust the one star reviews of this company and stay away!

Absolute garbage company. Wouldn't return my phone calls. Scheduled an appointment with telling me the time and the confirmation call was a robo call with no way to not accept the appt. Then they can't even give you a time until the day before the appt and even then it's only a 4 hour window. Come on a plumber can give a better window than that and he doesn't know how long he'll be there. Plan your route and add in time to take something off a truck

I've received two deliveries from this company. Pier 1 uses them as a third party source for their "White Glove" service. That service does not exist. Both deliveries were late, the first one by 8 hours, driver went down the wrong road and got stuck in the ditch as he tried to make a U turn. The second one was so screwed up I'm not going to go into details. They need to learn to communicate ALL delivery instructions to the driver. He's the guy looking for your house, he's the guy that get's lost, he's the guy that wants his tip!!!

I moved from Jacksonville to Hawaii and this company STOLE over $1500 worth of jewelry and my Motorolla Xoom tablet! They also put the stand for my brand new 60in 3D TV up against the screen putting dark spots on the picture. There were also thousands of dollars in other damages but I can't be positive that this terrible company did it since my items were moved all the way to Hawaii. These people hire thugs that will steal your items if given a chance! If you are in the military and the government hires these people to move your things tell them to find another mover. This company should be shut down!!!
