My wife and I come here every so often. We love the selection of paper, pens, coloring utensils, and stickers. My wife likes to make different types of cards and Hobby Lobby consistency has the materials and tools that she needs to make awesome cards. I really like their sticker collection too. They have tons of awesome stickers. I was just in there today and they had some pretty cool Llama ones and of course a kick butt Frenchie in shades. The staff here is really nice and they will help you. You can also often find deals on items you want or use a coupon. We will definitely continue to shop here.

I have gone to this hobby lobby many many times-as I prefer them over other craft stores. This store has a very wide variety of all kinds of things you would need for crafts, plus other items such as decor and furniture. The prices are pretty good for most items but the sales are great! The customer service here is absolutely awful!! Every time I go here (which was once a week for a while) I have a bad customer service experience. Experiences include: -Having a worker walk directly in front of me while looking at an item on a shelf, without saying excuse me or anything -Rude attitude at checkout -Rude responses when asking for assistance -When they are restocking items or doing inventory and you say "pardon me/excuse me" because an item you need is right near them, they give you attitude and/or sigh with annoyance. I hope their customer service gets better soon!

I am not very crafty. But that doesn't matter because Hobby Lobby has much more to choose from than arts and crafts. Hobby Lobby came through for me at Christmas. Their ornaments were 50% off a few weeks before Christmas. I had no idea they even sold ornaments because I'd never been in the store before LOL. They had a whole isle of ornaments in many varieties and a few more displays on the ends of a few isles. I was able to find one for each person in my family. My nieces like country decorations so they each got a cowboy hat and cowboy boot. My brother is crazy about motorcycles and my sister and brother-in-law love horses. You get the picture. I even went back a few days later as the ornaments went down to 66% off. So I picked up a few more for my friends. I also found some New Year's Eve party props. If you thought Hobby Lobby was all about arts and crafts you were wrong like me:) You can find some cool gifts or items for your home. This store is huge and the possibilities are endless.

Nice, new store located at The Town Centre. It was kind of a pain in the ass to find! LOL But, now I know where it is, so we're all good. As I was trying to find it, I always discovered quite a few other stores and restaurants that have been added. Good to know! Really large store. Very clean. It's new, so the cleanliness is to be expected. We were greeted when we walked in, but I didn't find what I was looking for, so I had no interaction with the employees. Our Hobby Lobby on the Northside is lacking in the yarn department. I was hoping the selection would be better here, but it wasn't. At least not the type of yarn I use. So far, JoAnn's at the Town Center is the only place in Jax I have found with plenty of yarn to choose from in the brand I use. Anyway.... I digress. If you're looking for other crafting supplies, I'm sure you'll be able to find it here. They also have so many cute home decorations. All in all, this store is a great addition to The Town Centre!

After getting my nails did I happened to drive-by this store on my way to Gate Parkway. My immediate thought was "hey, why not go here instead of Joanns? You're right here and it'll save you a trip." so, I pulled in to park and went in. I only needed to pick up some fabric adhesive but as I walked in I immediately got swallowed into the home decor section. I spent a good deal of time looking at pictures I don't need, light fixtures I want but will sit around, wall decor I'm afraid to hang up, and trim I just wanted to buy because it was pretty. I had to leave. Then came the fall/Christmas stuff hiding in the corner. I literally spent a good 20 minutes looking at every wreath and ornament they had. Finally I came to my senses, snapped out of it and walked over to the registers. I got my $5 fabric adhesive and was relieved because it could've been much worse. But now I know that I can come here instead of going into the heart of the Town Center.

I love this place!! So many different type of items from furniture to fabric! I always go to the store with the mindset of purchasing one particular item or in this case, using their framing service. However, this never happens, meaning, I end up walking around the whole store, spending way more time in there than originally planned. Lol. Great marketing I guess. Speaking of window-shopping, Hobby Lobby has furniture on sale in their lobby-area before you go into the store. It's hard to go inside without looking at the furniture first. Just dreaming what I envision my dream house would look like on the inside with all this beautiful furniture. Whatever decorating theme you are looking for I'm sure you can find it here. The have so many pictures, vases, wall decorations, table decorations, etc. The store is huge, so when I walked in I wasn't sure whether to go left or right, so I just went straight and worked my way around. I also found certain sewing items such as, fabric, yarn, needles, pins, etc, to be cheaper here than at Joann's. If anything, it's a great place to window shop for new ideas.

Over charged. I had that moment of checking tags to check receipt while standing in the vestibule. I knew it was more, only about a dollar, but still. The cashier hand keyed all items under a generic jewelry merchandise code. I contemplated going back in, but I was honestly irritated to the point I would have been snarky. So I left instead. So... 1. Why couldn't you scan? The scanner is right there. Is it broke? 2. When you hand key, you throw off inventory. The store can't track the sold item because you didn't use the barcode or Sku. 3. Returning items will now be harder- how do you match items? How do you know what I'm returning is what I actually bought? Anyway- all sorts of cranky complaints about the transaction. There are no lights at the registers to signify being open and there were several workers standing up at the front, but not at any registers- so you have no way of knowing which one is open. I had to wait for one of them to direct me. The only reason I gave three stars is because I am a fan of their home decor & jewelry selection... And holiday stuff during holidays. I love the store- I just don't love this store on this purchase. Probably won't be back anytime soon. Shame- most craft store I'm all- take my money!

Apparently the Hobby Lobby stores in Jax have consolidated a couple of them into a new, large store in the TownCenter right behind Chuys. I went there looking for a specific item my regular (Mandarin)Hobby Lobby ran out of. Oh they had it and everything else in crafting and home decorating! I was surprised the store had not been Yelped yet considering it had been there 2 months already. The manager was very happy and helpful in letting me set them up on Yelp so fellow shoppers can find them. I enjoyed strolling around seeing all the things they had and they do have lots! It is easy to get there so that's a plus when venturing into the TownCenter domain!!

Woah! I understand that this is a pretty new Hobby Lobby, but goodness it is LARGE! If my husband hadn't been with me rushing me along, I would have probably been locked up inside all night after they closed, stranded somewhere in the yarn aisle. Not just because the store is big, but because there is SO MUCH to look at! They did a fantastic job at setting up displays and aisles in this store. I felt like I was in wonderland. Another thing that I seriously enjoyed was all of the clearance and sales that they had going on. Hobby Lobby usually has sales all of the time, but this visit, I found so many jewelry findings for $1 or less! In fact, I even had a "40% OFF ANY ONE REGULAR PRICED ITEM" coupon that I was unable to use, because everything I bought was already on sale! Needless to say, it's probably best that my husband doesn't come with me next time I visit, because I'll probably end up buying the whole dang store.

I stopped in here today, looking for inspiration. I was at an endcap (display for non-retail folks) of birdcages. I picked up a pretty white one, and apparently shook the shelf--- because a wooden one with glass came down on my head. Ouch! I looked around, and stopped an associate as he was walking by. I told him that it needed to be moved off of the top shelf because it was too large and had just fallen on my head. He said okay ma'am, and walked away. No "I'm so sorry". No "Are you alright?". He did take the birdcage, but a modicum of sympathy would have been nice. Fine. I have a bit of a headache, but I'm okay. I continue to look around. I passed a minimum of 8 employees. Not ONE said hello, or asked if I was looking for anything. As I was leaving, one of the cashiers said hello, how are you? I thanked her, and let her know that she was the only one that spoke to me. I did see a couple of items that I liked, but I'll go somewhere else to get them.

I always thought Hobby Lobby was just for items like model airplanes, arts and crafts. When I was looking for some home decor items, a family member suggested the newest Hobby Lobby in the Town Center. I was surprised to see the wide selection of home decor including wall art, artificial flowers, picture frames of all sizes, and an array of other home accent items. The store is bright, clean, and organized beautifully. With such a wide selection at reasonable prices, this store should be a success in the new location. Specifically I was looking for some wall art to put over my coffee bar and something to hang over my wine rack. There were so many great choices for the coffee bar, it was difficult to decide. Not finding any wine related art, I finally asked someone who apparently I offended by the question. She harshly responded "Hobby Lobby is a religious store so there will be no liquor related items in here". I had noticed a number of religious items in the store, but I was not aware of the affiliation. So if you are looking for inspirational quotes of the religious nature, this is the store for you. If you have a wine rack you want to accent, do not ask. I left without my coffee art, but I would plan on going back to browse some more at another time.
