First class service with affordable pricing. Efficiently working, the move quickly which saved me money. The do use diligence in moving the larger items so they wouldn't get damaged. I did notice that the owners took interest customer satisfaction, and that is important to me. This isn't a franchise business so they don't have those heavy franchise fees. That equates to significant savings for the customer. I highly recommend this business to anyone that needs the help of a moving service.

We hired Jax Budget Movers last minute because the people packing our moving truck didn't show up and my husband was packing the truck m'y himself for 2 days. We hired them for a quick 2 hour job to finish about 1/4 of the truck getting packed! They arrived later than we were told. The guys were great, friendly and courteous but as we are now unpacking found out they were not the best at packing the truck! Many things were set on top of others damaging pieces, they put metal frames against airtight bags causing them to rip open, as well as setting boxes against our 60" tv causing it to bend! I am less than impressed by the amount of pieces damaged that they packed! The rest of the truck that was packed before them have no damage, no scratches or scuffs. This is not what I imagined when paying for "professional" movers to pack the truck! At the least I would have thought it would be opposite! I am only giving this 2 stars because the guys were friendly and nice. Also because they were available short notice and helped my husband because without the 2 extra hands my husband would've been working all night alone and he was exhausted!

I really didn't want to give you 2 stars but I think you need to know how the customers feel. There comes a certain expectation when dealing with businesses on general. Some people have great experiences with moving and others...not so much. Please note that I am not bashing this company at all just an observation. After seeing a recommendation via facebook I thought I would give Jacksonville Budget Movers a try since I knew that I would be needing moving services soon. I called this company at least three and half weeks in advance. I spoke to a Maddie to as her to run a quote and all of the information about their services. I was assured that based on what I had given her that this would be the ideal mover for us. Maddie stated that she would place me on her calendar and that she would send me via Google docs the estimate; never received the email or quote. A week goes by and I reached out again and it was confirmed but still no email confirmation. A day before the move I called to find out if the movers were still coming No answer. I called back and said I called to confirm but no one answered and Maddie stated to me "Yes" I did receive your message.but needed to make a slight change in the schedule as they had a job that they needed to do and they would be there at a later time than I had requested. I was okay with it and at the same time gave her a different email since I didn't receive the first two. Well, since My scheduled appointment was never kept Maddie was kind enough to send me a text to let me know that the movers were held up which you know can cause a domino effect along the way. 1:40pm I get a text saying the movers were done and going to call me with an ETA to meet me at my requested destination. Well I don't want to carry on since this is already long. Needless to say there was a whole different crew that finally came around 4:30pm. I'm not sure what moving company showed up to my house. This is what I will say. I appreciate the effort and whoever found the other movers Thank you but this is not how you handle situations such as this. I get the feeling that this happens all the time with certain moving companies. It's called Follow-up and Follow-through. Just let the customer know what's going on every step of the way regardless of what changes had to be made along the way. I hope you get it together and this was not how things normally go.

The movers were great! They were fast, but very careful with my antique furniture. They helped with a top that had previously loosened on my coffee table and stabilized an antique China cabinet that was wobbly. Price was very good. I definitely recommend Jax Budget Movers. Sandy D.

We needed very last minute help last week, picking up, and delivering a leather reclining couch we purchased. We couldn't move it ourselves, even with our pick up truck, due to my husband and I both having injuries. Plus rain was coming! Maddie and John were so helpful and professional, and worked us right into their busy day! They picked it up on time and delivered it right into my living room so carefully! And their rates are so reasonable! We will definitely call them again when we need help moving anything.

This was a great team. After having had some not-so-good experiences with others, John and the team were a HUGE ray of sunshine in a stressful process. They kept me informed at all times, were highly professional, and they completely dedicated themselves to our job while they were with us. I can't recommend them highly enough - Thank you!!!

Wow! What a great moving company. So glad I called to have my 10' x 10' storage unit loaded up and delivered to my home. Very courteous and very professional. Prices are extremely reasonable. From the start of the day, I was called and made aware of their arrival time by John, not once but twice. They worked non-stop from loading up to unloading and never stopped. They also took good care of wrapping my china cabinet and household goods. I would recommend them to anyone.

Like everyone says, "I hate moving." By sheer luck I found them online, I think Craig's List. Called and spoke to Maddie, who was great. She listened and then explained about the business they do. Pricing was reasonable and thank God! It's over but if I have to use anyone for moving....I'll definitely call them!!!!

After needing spare of the moment movers I immediately called and was greeted by Maddie who heard my urgency and ensured me that her husband John was the person for the job. They are very professional, quick, precise and I would hire them again. Thank you guys so much for making this process as simple as you did.

While spending time in the Jacksonville area, I had the need to move some items to storage and I HATE moving!! But this company has completely changed my mind about the subject! They were prompt, professional and fast. They used such great care with my furniture and breakables and were such sweethearts dealing with the heat of the day. I have no idea who 'Tiffany H' is talking about but I'm so glad I didn't let her review keep me from contacting this company (No one received more than a "1" on her YELP page)

Maddy, John, and their crew were nothing short of fantastic. I have personally used them once and in the process of hiring them again! They are very personable, kept in contact through the whole process, and made moving *almost* fun! They were on time, worked hard, and barley took a break! I will never move myself again! They're my #1 call and recommendation for anyone who wants a worry free moving experience.

Absolutely professional movers. They didn't damage a single piece of furniture. They were very flexible going from the storage unit on one side of town to the other where the house is located. They didn't try to sell you anything more than what was asked for. Would definitely hire them again.

Horrible!! Do not use this unprofessional idiot as a mover!! If I could give zero stars I would! Showed up two hours late, complained the whole time and took forever! After an hour and a half still no furniture moved in my house! Tried STEALING my tv's!! What a crook, I had to threaten to call the cops before he finally left.

Beware, this company is terrible. Find someone else to help you. I was quoted for services that I did not receive and the owner refused to discuss the problem with me. When you are moving you are ready to go. This company took advantage of our need for service, overcharged, did not provided services that were quoted and then refused to adjust. Find someone else, these people are not honest.
