I highly recommend this company, they are professional and the crew is experienced, energetic, thoughtful and very accommodating to your preferences. They wrap everything very well to avoid damages , also use floor protection, disassemble and reassemble my beds. I will definitely be using their services again as this was the best/easiest move I've had thanks to them!

Omg they were amazing! I had a horrible experience with another moving company (where multiple furniture was damaged to the point we had to toss out and shady movers constantly demanding extra money) so when we booked for JC Express, we didn't want to get our hopes up. But they were awesome! Very careful with our furniture and assembled the bed frame nicely (unlike the other moving company we used). There was a freak accident where our TV screen cracked during the move but they went above and beyond to resolve it. The movers were also very easy to talk to and did everything we asked! I wish I had hired them for my previous move, definitely regretting not finding them sooner. Would definitely recommend them!

This was the worst move we had in many years. We chose JC due to the fantastic work that was done in 2018. This was totally the opposite. Packing that was done was very poor. Basics of sealing a bottle or closing a vessel were not adhered to. We found many things soiled due to spillage. Don't think we will choose you again.

Wow! We were blown away by our recent experience with JC Express Movers. To begin, the scheduling process was quick and easy; indeed they readily accommodate us having to change our move date several times. This was in contrast to another outfit that requires us to book weeks ahead of time with little availability. On top of that, we found that JC had better pricing then other East bay movers. The actual day-of move was great. We had Gerardo and his crew, they were amazing. They arrived on time and worked incredibly har throughout the day, while being incredibly accommodating to our needs/desires etc. (eg last minute decisions about what to move/pack etc). They took great care of our stuff and just did a great job overall. I would highly recommend JC to anyone in need of movers and would use them again in a heartbeat (though hopefully I'm. Or moving again anytime soon).

Wow this company is awesome! We have never had such efficient, hardworking movers before. We had Edwin, Raul and Jose move us out of our 3 bedroom 2 bath home and I am seriously impressed with their professionalism, friendliness and skill. Nothing was broken but more than that they really went above and beyond to help us get everything in the right place in our new home and make sure we were happy before they left. Hire JC Express, you won't regret it!

We highly recommend this moving company. They gave us the best rates and they were professional and took great care of our furniture, etc. We had them keep our furniture for 2 weeks until we can move to our new home. They wrapped everything and nothing was broken and was well taken care of. We were able to get our house available sooner, but unfortunately we already had today (Sunday) booked for our move-in with JC Express, and they weren't available sooner. Today was probably the worse day ever to move-in, due to the PSPS power shutoff and the worse windy day. But JC Express showed up as expected and they moved all our furniture, etc with the howling winds and debris flying around. Edwin and his team of two men were so professional, accomodating, pleasant and excellent service, made our experience much easier to move into our new home. We highly recommend JC Express. We wanted to book 680 Movers because these guys were so fast and efficient last time we moved (you can read my review of them on Yelp), but they were booked, and we needed movers on short notice. JC Express Movers were available and their rates were reasonable. HOWEVER - Like the other lower rated reviews here - it seems we got stuck with slow movers. It took 6.5 hours to move 1 bedroom apartment in the SAME apartment complex. Literally just 1 building over. We also asked for packing service - I packed up everything beforehand except 70% of the kitchen and our closets (main closet and coat closet). They sent 3 guys, the biggest problem was a young kid named Jose, who was moving extremely slow in packing up our kitchen. He literally wrapped each can of food. Yes, cans of soup were individually packed in wrapping paper and placed in their expensive boxes. All of which you have to pay for (wrapping paper used, tape used, boxes used, and of course - their time). Jose milked the time and cost of materials, and was responsible for raking up our bill at least a few hundred dollars (whether intentionally or unintentionally I don't know). Once I realized what he was doing I told him it's unnecessary to wrap cans and to please speed things up. He was still moving slow so my husband asked the guy in charge to please tell the kid to speed things up because we saw him often taking breaks on his phone, slowly packing things up with headphones in his ears. While the kid was packing, the other 2 guys were moving the furniture into the truck, and they were decent, not fast. Nowhere near the speed and efficiency of 680 Movers. We had to supervise them all and help them a lot in order to keep things moving. They were courteous and on time, but their poor service ended up costing us more then 680 Movers last time we moved. We intended to tip them a few hundred, but they overcharged so much we had no cash left for a tip. *Also, they broke my desk and said their insurance doesn't cover particle board furniture. So I just had to let that one go, I have no intent to argue with their management over the phone. I didn't even take this into account when I was rating them. Would not recommend, go with 680 Movers if you can.

My office is relocating. We set up to have someone come lo it and look at the current office and give us a quote. A guy came and looked over everything, took notes and said he would get us quote within a day or two. A week went by and I finally called to follow up. I spoke with a woman who said she the guy had been booked all week and that she would sit down with him to finalize the quote and get it out that evening. Never received anything. Called again two days later and left a message. No one called back. Called again next day. No answer. Didn't waste my time leaving a message. In response to JCs comment: thank you for responding but we never actually received any voicemails or calls from your office.

I have used JC Express Movers twice now and they are awesome! All communication is easy and they are very responsive. They are so careful when it comes to not damaging your belongings. All of their staff is professional, efficient, and friendly. I will continue to trust them with my moving needs in the future!

We had a great experience with this moving company. Scheduling was easy and the movers were professional and efficient. The rates were reasonable as well, and there were no hidden costs. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

JC movers were great right from the beginning! The person I spoke to when requesting a quote was very informative and explained the process and pricing clearly. They were on time and professional. We had them move a very large trampoline which was difficult to disassemble and transport but they problem solved and got the job done. They were unable to reassemble the trampoline during the allotted time so they came back later that week so they could do it right. We had a great experience with this company and would definitely recommend!!

We were charged 13 hours to move from Pleasant Hill to Walnut Creek and were charged hundreds more for charges we were not aware were "extra". Here are the details. We moved from a 3 bedroom 2000 sq.ft. ranch in Pleasant Hill to a 2 level 2100 sq.ft. house (on a hillside so second level was on downhill slope, favoring movers ) in Walnut Creek. The new house was 15 minutes away from our old house. We packed ourselves, color coding each box to the room the box was to in the new house. We provided the movers with a diagram of the new house, also color coded, so they knew which box went where. We were quoted a 3 hour minimum, and thought the move would take 4-5 hours at the most. The move took 13 hours. The movers ignored the color coding, putting boxes in the wrong rooms and often on the wrong level. It became so time consuming to move boxes from the wrong room/level to the correct one, half way through I told the movers to just put the rest of the boxes in the garage. It took me days to sort that out after the move. Of the three movers, only one seemed to have experience. A second mover worked hard but couldn't figure out how to get some larger pieces of furniture through doors. The third worker was both lazy and clueless. In addition to the 12 hour moving charge, there was a 1/2 hour charge for travel(for a 15 minute drive), $25 for gas (in addition to travel charge), $65 for wrapping furniture in plastic, $25 for plastic, and a half hour for cleaning the truck. There also was a 5% surcharge for paying with a credit card. I was taught that when you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything, which is why I usually write reviews when I am impressed. But I felt misled by all the positive reviews when my experience was so negative.

This is my second time that I move with JC Express and again a very good experience, one day they completely packed my entire 4 bedroom house and the next day they moved me. Thank you David, Edwin, Sarai, and Jose for the kindness and professionalism in the two days of work, highly recommend this company, very professional , polite, and efficient . I just used JC Express movers for my third time, and they continue to deliver. They are SUPER professional and really excellent communicators. Their pricing is transparent and fair, and their movers were fantastic. We had Jose F, Fellipe, and Plyo (sorry if I spelled his name wrong - it was hard to read on the sheet!) and they were fantastic. They moved our two bedroom apartment over the course of ~7 hours - our move took that long because the one we were leaving had a spiral staircase in it, which makes getting furniture down time consuming, and a slow elevator. JC Express knows what they're doing though, and didn't even blink at the spiral staircase. All of our furniture and belongings were moved safely and way more quickly than I could have done on my own or with friends. Using these folks is some of the best money you can spend on a move. Highly recommend!

I moved this past weekend and had JC's staff do the move and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. Not just by the way the guys were handling all my furniture and belongings but also by how nice and helpful the guys were. They were right on time and moved pretty fast. Definitely recommend JC Express Movers. We were totally impressed on how they packed their truck and all my furniture and boxes were in perfect condition by the time they got to my new house. thanks!

These guys are great. Quick response. Called them Monday and they moved me on Thursday. Fair price, on time and worked 13-1/2 hour day until the job was done.

We used JC movers about two years ago and were very impressed with how fast they moved everything. Not only were they fast but they also wrapped things up. We moved hundreds of miles and nothing was damaged. They were also the best priced company (I called about 4 others) and their response time was very quick. The movers were extremely professional and friendly. Made a stressful day stress free. We have since used another company which led me to write this review as I now have a comparison. Jc was better all around. The only negative is that I can't use them again (moved too far). Highly recommend: 1. Fast response time 2. Very friendly 3. Fast movers 4. Careful, nothing damaged 5. Very good price
