I recently (today, actually) had Luke's Apartment Movers do my interstate move. The gentlemen worked quickly and efficiently, and were INCREDIBLE in getting some very oversized, very heavy wooden pieces down a narrow staircase! They came in the morning, loaded their truck with all my stuff, drove it up to SC and unloaded it. I had a combination of heavy and delicate items, and they took excellent care of all of them! Ronnie and Donald were awesome, as was the owner! They were VERY reasonably priced, especially for the amount of work they did and the amount of time! I would definitely recommend them.

I would like to thank Luke's Apartment Movers and Paula for leaving me STRANDED with no one in the area able to help me on a Sunday and very last minute. I booked this moving company a month in advance from my move. I called them on the morning of my move to find out where their movers were and Paula informed me that she called me the day before at 6:00 p.m. to cancel the move or reschedule to the next day. Need I mention that this was on Mother's day May 12th. I HAD to be out of my house on the 12th no later. THIS IS BY FAR THE WORSE COSTUMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED. I would NOT recommend this company as they are not dependable at ALL and have no problem trying to charge someone for something their company needs to be responsible for.

Giving this 1 star because I have to, otherwise it would be zero stars. I'm going to keep this as short as possible because this company deserves none of my time... We set up our move for 9am (1st move of the day). After 3 hours of trying to get an answer as to why nobody had ever showed up, the only answer they could finally give us 3 hrs later was "I'm sorry, we will not be able to make it there today." Do yourselves all a favor and pass on Luke's Apartment Movers. They could careless about you as a customer, this place should be out of business.

First I'll start with the positive. All of my things got moved to the new location. The email correspondence was good and thorough. Everything else was downhill. The movers showed up an hour and a half late. Told me it would take double the time to move than I was quoted and I would have to pay in cash only. The guy "in charge" was rude, and SLOW. Pretty sure that was on purpose. He would stop the 2nd guy if he was doing something by himself or going too fast. He dropped several things and then made sure I knew he wasn't responsible. Ended up paying 2.5 times the quoted price for this ridiculousness. Please skip these fools. I felt sorry for the second guy because he seemed like a hard worker and wanted to get it done.

We have been using Luke's apartment movers for 10 years. I am disgusted with your service today. I have never in my life experienced this level of disrespect and disregard for people and property. Do not use this company.

Their movers were very nice and on-time. However, they packed the moving truck poorly -- forgoing blankets under the large heavy items laying on their side. When I arrived in Colorado, the movers there noticed the damage on several items and were actually upset and embarrassed by the way their "counterparts" at Lukes did the loading. It was rushed and sloppy. When I called to try to work out a solution, I didn't receive a return call. It took a week to get them on the phone, but it wasn't a call back, Instead of trying to work it out, the guy insulted me. He also said he didn't damage anything, didn't owe me anything etc. He ended his tirade by asking me to sue him. I am doing just that, contacting the BBB etc. Buyer Beware!!!!!!!!!!!

There is no mover in Jacksonville that is better than the service Luke's provides. They are fast and very reasonably priced. I've referred them many times and everyone I have told has raved about the service, especially their ability to take on last minute moves without extra service fees. The movers are professional, courteous and quick.

I recently used Luke's to move from one state to another. I only hired them for loading the truck. The movers were punctual and professional. However, when I arrived at my new house and started to unpack the truck several items had damage. The furniture was packed along the walls and the stain/wood on several items was rubbed off. Two boxes marked fragile were placed on the bottom of other boxes. Items in the boxes marked fragile were destroyed..including a Kurieg Coffee Machine. I phoned Luke's and spoke to Luke directly in an attempt to resolve the issue of the damaged items. Luke advised me I created the damage intentionally and called me a liar. I asked for his insurance companys name to file a claim and was told he would not provide any information to me and again I caused the damage and was trying to defraud him. I explained I simply wanted items repaired and did not intentionally damage anything, again he called me a liar. I would give this company less than 1 star if possible!!! Beware the reasonable cost of the move will cost you in the end!

Never before have I seen a more sorry group of people IN MY LIFE! I hired these guys to move me out of my home and they showed ZERO care for my personal property. I know everyone has a bad day but they're useless. Multiple items broken, scratches in almost everything I own thats wood, the truck floor was FILTHY and I should have sent them on their way when they arrived. I called Luke the owner to explain several of the issues and he told me that I could be making it up that my property is damaged. Bad business Luke, it's a shame. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! Lukes is cheap but plan on having banged up items when they get to your new place. I had to give them 1 star but I wouldn't recommend to someone I hate! #lukesaptmoversFAIL
