I had a GREAT experience with Mango Moving. I moved from New York to Indianapolis and I needed help unloading my POD. Mango took charge of finding me a local provider to do the work in Indianapolis (and, they were excellent); and, my Mango representative coordinated everything! Not only did Mango keep me informed of the who and when of the unpacking--they kept on top of when the movers had, in fact, arrived and how well they did. It was the best moving experience I have had-- and I have moved from coast to coast. I would and will recommend Mango Movers in the future.

If you are even considering using Mango Moving **DON"T** DO IT!! Used them back in 2013 for a cross country move from east coast to west coast and it was a disaster. The driver, the movers, they are all contracted out. The driver was an independent truck driver with his own tractor trailer who didn't even think about lifting a finger for anything. The movers were 2 young boys in their early 20's who were NOT professional movers but kids trying to just earn a few extra dollars. They tried their best handling all our boxes and furniture the best they could but really it was too much for them. It is stressful enough having to move but when everyone shows up late the day you are moving adds much more stress. When the truck arrived at our new location of course it was a couple young boys that showed up to unload the truck hired out from a local moving company. Many of our items were damaged including furniture which was supposedly insured, but when it came to try and make the insurance claims it was a joke. The driver told us to contact Mango, which we did over and over and over again, then was told to contact the insurance company who wanted ALL original receipts for everything that was damaged, Now who on earth keeps receipts for everything you buy just in case in gets damaged some time over the years. Eventually we could no longer get into contact with Mango Movers and told that they went out of business and of course the insurance company they originally told us to contact refused to pay for anything. Unfortunately we took the loss but learned a valuable lesson on hiring movers. Do your research and use someone reputable. It is a shame though, that when we looked up Mango Movers there were many good comments about them. How I will never know. Perhaps the employees writing their own reviews. And to let you know I rated Mango 1 star only because I couldn't rate it "0".

If you are considering hiring this company - DO NOT. I would also rate them 0 stars if possible. It took 11 hours for 3 guys to move a 2 bedroom apartment and I am missing multiple items of considerable value. They must have left a box or stolen it. I tried to follow up with them by emailing and calling them, and still haven't heard back. They took my bikes apart completely which I just got an estimate back and will cost $85 for both of those just to be reassembled. Things were tossed in with no wrapping so I have a broken mirror, scratched painting, and again completely missing stuff after unpacking everything. I would consider reporting them to the better business bureau. I regret ever hiring them.

The one interaction I had with Mango Moving while getting quotes for an interstate move scared me off, so I can't vouch for the quality of their work. I got a call from Mango within a minute of submitting a form for quotes from numerous companies through http://www.topmoving.com . The woman asked me to tell her the whole story of my move, which is coming up in 2 weeks. I'm sure she was just trying to be friendly and build rapport with me, but I have a lot of logistics to work out in a very short time, so I asked her to get to the point and give me a quote. She hung up on me! If they can't understand that not everyone has the time to chat it up with a sales person when they're preparing for a cross-country move, then they don't understand their customers very well.

If there was a negative star choice, I would have chosen it. Do not go to this moving company especially you plan to move cross the state. The price is definitely good but they can't cooperate well. At first, they told me they will deliver in 10 days and even on the holiday weekend. Everything you say and they will promise you. That's why we picked this company. After I signed the contract, I felt the honey moon was over. They told me the provider can't do the dates I asked for so I had to compromise. We did and we were so impressed when the provider company came to pick up stuff. Their people uploaded a three bedrooms house in less 2 hours. One the schedule date, according to them, the "schedule window" was from 8:30 am to 11:30 am but they called us at 12:30 pm to tell us the truck broke down on the freeway. They would be arriving there around 5 pm. The broke down truck and the main driver shower up at 4pm but he was waiting for his "helper" who was supposed to show up at 5pm. My husband, the driver and I had to start unloading some stuff at 7pm because we didn't want to sleep on the carpet that night. Around 7:15pm, the "helper" showed up to join us. The driver and the helper worked until 10:50pm and they called it the day. They told us they would be back the next day. We provided some donuts and water for them too. I called the Mango Moving Company and they blamed everything on the poor driver. The driver and helper showed up at 10:30am and finished the rest of the stuff around 13:30pm. I remembered when the coordinator asked me if we had worked with professionals. I told her no. I am really terrified to work such a "professional company." This was the first time and definitely last one with this company. Would I recommend this moving company? Absolutely NOT!

BUYER BEWARE! Worst company around! Can I get a less than 0 stars please? I used these guys for their 2 person minimum rate to unload two pods at our new house in South Tampa. 1 male and 1 female showed up. They were barely able to lift some of the heavier items. They dragged our couch across the house and he have significant damage to the front. They DID NOT BRING the necessary equipment with them to even unload larger pieces. We had to wait for the "Boss" to show up with a furniture dolly. When he did they moved it only to the front porch. THEY LEFT MY GIRLFRIEND BY HERSELF AND WALKED OUT ON THIS JOB! They left our $3,000 new refrigerator OUTSIDE at 9:30 at night and left several other pieces in the POD. This all took place on 11/18/2015 I left 4 voicemails on 11/19/2015 first requesting then demanding that the owner (whomever that may be) return my calls and not ONLY did no one even answer the phone but I did not get a call back. We have damage to our leather couch, stainless fridge, speaker and king mattress. We will be seeking compensation through legal channels but DO NOT USE THIS SHAM COMPANY under any circumstances!!! I am still in shock over the absolute crazy situation these people put us in.

Avoid asking these guys for a quote. After I turned them down they have been calling 2 or 3 times a day. That speaks to a complete lack of professionalism if they would continue to harass prospective clients. Certainly not going to use them now.

So far my experience with this company has been less than positive. Basically they can't seem to coordinate the packing and trucking. They couldn't get here yesterday. They did get here today but 3 hours past their committed time. The driver and helper were friendly enough and seem competent. Hope everything arrives safely.

We recently used Mango Moving to pack our pods for our move. They provided great sub contractors to pack the pods. The people that came to our house were professional, on time, and did a good job of packing the pods efficiently. Mango also did an awesome job of communicating with us during the entire process. They called with updates along the way, and I appreciated that. Jeana was great to work with!

I hired Mango Movers for my move from Missouri to Wisconsin on 6/29/2012 (simple load, haul, and drop off, less than 5,000 lbs). The moving coordinator had great interpersonal skills, offered a competitive and detailed quote, and guaranteed a three day drop-off. Preparing for my move was stressful, but now I was excited, relieved, and impressed. Unfortunately, signing a contract with Mango Movers was a moving disaster. I hoped the movers would arrive near the beginning of their time window at 8am. They did not show up at all during the time window, and I received no call. I waited about an hour then I called and left a message for my coordinator, but received no return call. I called the main switchboard twice over the next hour and a half leaving messages for my coordinator, but never received a call back. I called again and asked to speak with someone else and explained the urgency of my situation. I heard exactly what I feared: "Oh my gosh, no one contacted you? The driver cancelled, his truck broke down." This representative promised to look for another driver and would call back in "10 minutes." I called twice after a half hour and did not receive a call back. I called yet again to the switch board and was told this person left for lunch (it was late in the afternoon). I tried calling twice more, and ended up canceling, because my lease was up in two days. My credit card was already charged for the moving and haul, which was 1.5k added to all of my other moving expenses, and now had to find and pay another way to move myself. I spent all weekend moving, including renting a U-Haul, tow dolly, coordinating moving help at both ends, etc. Two months later I am still requesting that the charge for the drop off be removed from my card... Although they never even came to my house. The worst part of all of this? I never once, from anyone at their company, received an apology.

AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!! My husband and I booked with Mango Moving a month ago for our across country move. They called the day before the move and told us they were no longer available for the move but offered to come 5 days late and told us that their famous "10 day guarantee" was actually going to be pushed back to 14 days. They do not follow through on their word and their policies clearly mean nothing to them. We had to be out of apartment on 2 days. I will not recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a trustworthy, reliable company! They left us scrambling to find a new mover to transport our belongings 1200 miles with less than 24 hours notice. Mango Moving is a horrible company!!!
