I don't think I've ever been so compelled to leave such a glowing review or rate a business with 5 star service before my experience with Movers 49. In particular it was two very special employees, Dimitri and Serge, that were scheduled to assist with moving my mother to a new apartment. They were promptly on time for the move, and couldn't have been anymore professional, careful & quick with the job. As my Mom had been in the home for many years it was no easy feat!! They removed all furniture from her existing apartment with not so much of a single scratch & set it all up in her new place just the way she wanted it :) I was so pleased with the experience I made a special request of their services the next day for both a trip to the Salvation Army & Marin Sanitation Center. They were knowledgeable, professional and helped me through a couple of very stressful days. Movers 49 was excellent from the moment of the first call to schedule my move through the move itself. Communicated throughout the week to confirm the move. I can't say enough about Aleksei and Dmitry! On time, professional, efficient, and very careful with my furniture. Very nice guys as well! I would not hesitate to us this company again!

Had a great experience with this moving company. They make moving look easy and hassle free. In the past I've never found a trustworthy moving company because I thought they'd rip me off. I'd get outrageous quotes from other moving companies but this company was very reasonable. They helped me move all my furniture and belongings from my old apartment to the new one. They were very professional at how they handled the moving process. We were updated pretty regularly so there was no miscommunication whatsoever. I highly recommend them to everyone who's around the area!

Had to help my sister's family move to San Leandro and found movers 49. They were super helpful and arrived on time. They made sure all her furniture was wrapped so it wouldn't get damaged throughout the moving process. They were attentive and helped where was needed every step of the way. Overall process was smooth and we had a very smooth moving experience.

this is probably one of the best moving companies that i have dealt with!! they were on time to help me move yesterday which was a plus since a lot of moving companies tend not to do!! securing a time and place to help me move was easy and simple! they were great at responding to me and making sure everything was correct. i thought i would need to move all my things to the first floor of my apartment so they could me but they were more than happy to help me move my things from the second floor!! they were so efficient with time that i didn't believe all my things were moved already. that took so much stress off of me since i'm such a small girl. i was moving just an hour away from home which wasn't bad but having them made me feel that if i ever needed to move again, i would be stressed free!! the price was fantastic for what they did for me! i thought i needed to put my back in and help but nope, all the workers were super nice and helpful! all my things were moved perfectly and not a scratch on any of my things! I will forsure call them again and make sure they help me move my things in the future or else i'm never moving hahahah

I needed help moving out of Richmond and my friend mentioned this moving company to me. I haven't had the best experiences with moving companies in the past so I usually ask friends for help and do it myself. But this time it was a big move and I knew I'd need a lot of help. I reached out to them and asked for a quote. Price was very reasonable. They were very helpful and answered all my questions. Day of the move was very successful. They called me ahead, letting me know they were on their way so I'd be ready for them. The process was quick and efficient. They were careful with all my stuff and that's what's important right? When you have a family full of women, it gets tough every once in a while to do stuff that get too heavy especially when it comes to moving. This is when Movers 49 became our answered prayers. I contacted them because a good friend of mine recommended them to me. It was honestly one of the best decisions I've ever made because these guys are incredible! I contacted them about an inquiry and got a respond within just an hour. Because of that, we were able to have their team to help us the very same day! That was awesome. On top of that, they were truly careful with our belongings and that was important to us because we had tons of fragile things. They did an amazing job of moving me a month ago. They arrived early on the day we agreed on (super easy communication with their team), and within a few hours their team had everything packed, wrapped up, loaded, and ready to go to my new apartment! The whole process went really smoothly, and they placed everything where we wanted them to. Everyone was very helpful, thorough, polite, and profesional, which really took all the stress out of moving. The last time I moved, I damaged and dropped a bunch of my furniture and it was a nightmare - they really showed me how moving can be easy! I was hesitant to trust a mover but I know that I can use them for all my next moves ( as a college student that is a lot ) They used wooden crates for valuable and fragile items which made sure nothing was damaged! I was moving across California and considering the time crunch that I was in, the price was amazing and guaranteed. I will definitely be using them again the next time I have to move! Love how fast and efficient this company was when I needed to move from my third floor apartment at San Jose to my new house in Milpitas! Three floors may not seem like a lot but it definitely is when you have to carry multiple big furnitures. I was scared that I was going to drop a couple of items going up and the down the stairs so I was really glad when I discovered movers 49 because they treated all my belongings as if it was fragile. All my items were exactly the same afterwards! No scratches unlike a previous experience that I had back then. Super quick response time and affordable rates! The team was super friendly too and made sure they accommodated all the needs that I had. Thank you so much again!! Will definitely contact again on my next move :)

I am so glad that I called these guys to do my move. They were on time and efficient and Omar is an absolute delight. Everybody worked together to make sure that my move went without a snag. I'm really grateful. It was a really tough move ...downstairs and upstairs with big cumbersome items and tons of boxes. But they managed to make it all happen with no problems! These guys are absolute professionals and I would totally call them again!

I had a wonderful experience with Movers 49, starting with the first interaction obtaining a quote via Yelp. I realized the confirmation date was wrong a few days before the move, so I sent a message via Yelp, and quickly received a call correcting the date - PHEW! The movers were a tad late, however, they called in advance to let me know they were on their way and dealing with some traffic - which was appreciated. They were efficient, careful, professional, and friendly. Even though I only had a few items to move, the stress and worry of making sure everything was in order at the old & new place was building up, so I am so happy (and relieved) I chose to hire Movers 49. took 6 hours to move a studio apartment worth of stuff to an apartment nearby, which made the final cost over $500. the movers were nice, but not particularly careful or fast. some of my furniture scraped walls on the way up, leaving white paint marks. they did wrap some items with blankets and plastic wrap, but all-in-all, I would not recommend.
