Now that the dust has settled from my move last Friday, I figured it was time to give these folks the credit they so sincerely deserve. I've moved about 20x my entire life as a missionary kid, in the AF, and 3x now in Bham cause AL apparently has no standard of living for their tenants (the first 2 places had black mold and leasing wouldn't fix it). The lady I spoke to and emailed back and forth from the get-go to set up my move was very sweet. She had me send pics to their office of the rooms and furniture to be moved to quote me as accurately as possible. They were very prompt to respond, as I had to get a new company to move me after another led by a fellow vet maliciously quoted me at $1,700 for a 600 sq ft apartment. Seriously, bruh? I'm a vet. This ain't my first rodeo and I know it doesn't cost that much. In any event, I sought out New Latitude last minute and, not only did they accommodate the same day I needed the move, but they packed AND moved me same day which is what I was used to in the NE. Apparently that's rare in the South to do both the same day? Was VERY pleasantly surprised to find they do. I received an email beforehand stating the crew would be by between 8-9AM that morning to start and, on the move day at about 8:20AM, I get a call from a perky young man (Brian) stating they were en route as previously scheduled. To boot, Brian asked if WE needed anything (coffee, breakfast, etc.) on their way to US! Never have I had a moving crew ask what I needed. Although it was completely unwarranted and we politely declined, I was taken aback at how much of a servant's heart these men had. Brian and Dean showed up promptly and went straight to work. They were on it like white on rice. They don't pack liquids, but that's standard. However, they put them in boxes to be carried to my car and even offered to take them to the car themselves. Once again, didn't have to. They took their audience into consideration and played classic rock to pass the time which was a fun way to start conversation. Dean had just been to the Beck concert earlier in the week, as had my bf and me (I was wearing my tee from the concert, so it was a fun conversation piece). They even took a lunch break in between before unpacking and, all in all, the move lasted from about 9AM to 430PM or so. They were super friendly, efficient, and were all smiles the whole time despite such a physically demanding job. After everything was said and done, the quote had been $1,300 and, even with the lunch break factored in, the actual price ended up being less than $1,200. After 12 yrs in service, this one will go down in the books as the smoothest move I've ever had. I would suggest them to anyone and everyone I know a million times over. EXCELLENT service.

I would highly recommend New Latitudes for moving. Ask for Brian and Brian. They are exceptionally fast, courteous and helpful. This company truly cares about you and your belongings and they are fast, efficient and affordable!

The three guys were right on time, very professional, Made sure all screws, parts of beds, slats, etc., were taped to right beds! Truck was packed to my instructions. Very good. On time, work together and very hard. Careful with items. moved my grand piano with great expertise. Took it apart and put it back together. Nice guys and good workers. Finished ahead of time to save me some money. Will use again.

I highly recommend this company. They arrived on time and got right to work. The guys finished earlier than estimated, which allowed for a reduction in the estimated cost. I have never had a smoother move and will use them again.

We used New Latitude to move from Homewood to Montevallo and were very pleased with the work that they did. Nothing was scratched or damaged during the move and everything was taken apart/put back together well! They were on time, communicated about details/pricing well, and were friendly. This is a great moving company! Super easy to work with! I scheduled a move for my daughter from one apartment to another. They sent me email confirmation of the date and locations a few days in advance. Two guys showed up on time and were quick and efficient. Their prices were 1/2 of all the other movers I called. Highly recommend them!!

Moving with New Latitude was a great experience. The two movers were awesome! They had a great attitude, and they were very careful and very efficient at the same time. Each time they loaded or unloaded an item, they RAN back for the next item. Their focus on efficiency definitely saved me money. I highly recommend this company!

We've used New Latitude for our last two moves. USE THEM! Do not hesitate - They did an EXCELLENT job both times and did such a careful estimate that they came in under the estimate. The first time they moved us in on the day Katrina hit - they brought extra guys and didn't leave until everything was done. This time they were also timely, helpful, kind, funny, and thorough. NOTHING was broken, scratched, or dented. I don't plan to move again, but if I do - it will be with New Latitude again.

Stop searching now! This company is absolutely amazing and you will be very happy with your move! Jason and his crew moved us from Gadsden AL to Hoover AL and did an amazing job. I was very impressed with how skilled Jason was and how his team worked in unison to move us so promptly. They were seamless in transitioning the furniture to the truck and moving into our new house. They were extremely professional and full of energy from the moment they arrived. They honestly did not waste one second and knew exactly how to pack and unpack the truck. One of the guys named Lawrence told me he would treat my belongings like they were his own. And boy did they ever, I seriously could not say enough positive things about this crew!

I used New Latitude to move our office. They did a great job and were very professional. Randall and Derek were very organized and professional. All of the guys went out of their way to make sure every office was set up like we needed it even if that meant moving furniture around a couple of times. They were careful with our furniture and we had no issues. Job well done!
