After reading a few good reviews, I decided to call South Beach for my small, local move. From my initial conversation, through completion of the move, George and his crew were professional, efficient, neat, clean and helpful. We have moved a few times in the past and have had awful experiences. SBM was a refreshing and positive experience. I will certainly use them again for my Florida moving needs!

After reading some great reviews, I called South Beach Movers. I spoke to the owner, George, and decided to hire his company. George was very helpful. I had a last minute apartment change and coordinated the move, even changing the moving date to accommodate the new building. The movers came on time, worked hard and completed the job beautifully. We were moved in in no time! Great price, excellent service!

From the moment I called for a quote from this company, my expectations were exceeded. The owner was very nice and made me feel comfortable using his company. It was an extremely scary process finding a company because I heard bad stories from my friends. The owner told me that he treats his customers like he would his family. That's exactly how I was treated! The movers,Derik and Shirmin. showed up exactly when I wanted them to with a smile and beautiful attitudes. They were the hardest working movers. Being a single woman, it's easy to get taken advantage, but this company and these movers were the most honest hard working dedicated workers. They went above and beyond in helping me with my move. I would give a billion stars to this company if I could.

I used South Beach Movers for the second time this past weekend. I had to move furniture from my late mother's house to a storage facility. She passed away several years ago and I was finally being allowed to take possession of the items left to me in her will. I had let them know it might be a contentious situation so our plan was to get in, get everything out, load up and get out of there with as little fuss as possible. The three guys they sent were awesome. They arrived on time, they were big and strong, really knew what they were doing, and once we got in the house, we were in and out in an hour and on our way to storage. Mission accomplished! They could've dragged their feet but they didn't. They were super efficient and I so appreciate them. Thank you South Beach Movers for making what could have been an awful day pretty darn painless.

After meeting with several moving companies to choose one I would be satisfied for reliability, price and care for the moving of my two bedroom apartment in Bal Harbour, Fl to Virginia, I made my choice. I found South Beach Movers and George the owner to be my choice and am very happy for their reliability, pricing , and extra care in carefully protecting my belongings in the move. I highly recommend South Beach movers for your next move.

I have been using and recommending these movers for years without problems. But during my last scheduled move, it was a disappointment. I was moving from one apartment building to another with reserved elevators and time frames for both. The scheduled move was allowed from 1-5pm on both buildings and I contracted them at 1pm. They contacted me at exactly 1pm saying they were going to run about 1 - 1.5 hours late and I reiterated to them I had to move out that day within those time frames. No problem or so i thought. At 3pm I did not hear from Them and I contacted them. They simply said to me they weren't coming. I contacted the moving company to speak to a manager and they left me on hold for 10 Minutes and hung up. I called again and they would hang up on me until they blocked my number! They would not have contacted me at 3pm had I not called them first and with not s care in the world simply said we aren't coming. Leaving me with no alternative to look for another company on short notice. I had to plead so I would not have to pay an extra month of rent at my old apartment and ask for them to make an exception and move on a day they do not schedule moves. I didn't give this company the minimum 1 star because they did excellent work before. But I will never recommend or use this company again. I understand things get complicated but the way it was handled was terrible. They preferred to ignore me than offer solutions. My only advice is do not get verbal confirmation and Get a written confirmation of a scheduled move. When I contacted another company they gave me a written confirmation and were in constant communication with me.

I have moved several times but NEVER haveI had such an incredibly great experience than with SB Movers and Jorge. His crew were amazing, neat, clean and so careful. Not one thing was out of place, damaged or lost and they never complained about complex issues that might have caused problems for all of us. I highly recommend them and when and if I ever move again...they are the ones that I will call! The absolute best company!!!!!

I had originally scheduled a company to move us on New Years Eve at 9AM, but after repeated calls to dispatch I was informed that our assigned driver had decided to take the day off, and they had no one available to cover. I needed to move out of our old apartment by Monday to avoid a fine so I called multiple companies who either told me they had no one available or quoted me out at extremely high prices to come out that day and get us moved. I finally called George who quoted me a more than fair price, and told me he could be to my place in an hour and a half. He showed up in an hour. George and his team were fast, efficient, and careful with all of our boxes and furniture. They read each box and carefully handled anything marked fragile. The moved with an alacrity and efficiency I have rarely seen in other moving companies. The team was friendly and every person worked hard to get everything done in time. Nothing in the move was broken and honestly, everything went perfectly. I would highly, highly recommend you use South Beach Movers, and they will be my go-to for moving from now on, and a company I feel comfortable recommending to my friends and co-workers. 10/10 they were great. Use these guys and don't look back.

We hired South Beach movers to move our furniture from a POD into our apartment. They did an amazing job. They were super friendly, hard working, careful and quick. I would recommend them 100%.

Hired South Beach Movers for the second half of my move after the horrendous experience I had with the first company ( breaking things and hiding them in the dumpster.). The owner and his crew showed up fast.. he constantly supervised them in a firm but fun way and kept everything moving quickly. They worked hard , fast and took care of my stuff. Thank you for making the second part of the process go so smoothly. I've moved coast to coast and have had good and bad experiences. This was a good one and I would recommend them to anyone.

Can I give them 10 stars? I needed someone to help pack a truck for an out of state move. I called several places and found South Beach Movers to be the most professional and well-priced. George, Cesar and Sherman arrived on time and did an amazing job moving all my furniture and fitting it all in to the truck like a giant game of Tetris! They are super efficient and move fast. Everything arrived to DC in perfect condition, no problems with things falling in the truck, shifting, etc. Overall true professionals and very nice guys.

I highly recommend George and his team. They were fast, efficient, kind, and the price was great too! I've moved a lot of times (four states, at least 10 cities, moved three times in last three years alone) and they were hands down the best team I've seen. The owner, George was an excellent communicator and was very responsive. Scheduling the move was easy and straight forward, all you need to pay is a $50 deposit. During the day of the move his son Jose and his team of two friends arrived 15 minutes early and started right away. His team were very helpful, upbeat and positive - they made moving look like so much fun. Jose's team was very efficient they finished the whole move in less than 5 hours. My favorite part of it all - my clay pots made it to the new apartment without any cracks - that's how ridiculously meticulous and careful they are. I thought - these guys work so hard they deserve the best pizza lunch ever!!! So I got and bought them pizza as a thank you for making the move go smoothly and swiftly as possible. I highly recommend them as they offer the best possible deal you can get in south beach and they're local! No hidden fees, no mysterious charges, no bullshit and hassle free move.

SBM is a great company. I needed a small glass table and four chairs moved only 6 miles. I called numerous companies and all of them were either really expensive or did not want to assist me with the move because it was a short distance. Not SBM they were willing to do the job and at a very fair price. The owner Jorge was great to work with, he responded quickly to any questions I had, and was efficient in the delivery. I would recommend SBM in a heart beat to anyone in need of a moving service.

Would I recommend South Beach Movers?? Heck YES! These guys were awesome. I had a 15 foot UHaul completely full (for a 1 bedroom) that they unloaded in well under two hours (even after the long waits for the service elevator). Then, because they were so quick, they offered to assemble my bed, table and fix my desk. George and his guys were polite, smart, strong, and handy. It was reasonably priced too. 5 thumbs up for them! Thank you George and guys!

These guys were amazing; I just moved into my new apt and my prior movers couldn't fit through the stairs this couch that needed to go upstairs; so I called them and they made it happen through the first floor balcony to the second balcony and this couch was a very heavy couch; they were incredible and I'm beyond thankful to them.

I relied on all the positive reviews for South Beach Movers to schedule an estimate for my 86 year old widowed father living in Miami Beach. After losing my mom after 63 years of marriage my dad made the difficult decision to sell his condo and move to be closer to me in Virginia Beach, VA. I called South Beach Movers to see if they can visit my dad and give him an estimate to make the long distance move. I dont know why I picked South Beach movers, other companies also had good review. But from the minute George the owner picked up the phone and spoke with me I knew he was the right person for this job. There are many qualified movers, but none that I have ever worked with that have the heart, sincerity, honesty and professionalism as George and his staff. I explained my dad's situation, he is alone and me and my sister would not be there to meet with him. George was exceptional...he urged us to get several estimates, promised me he would take good care of my dad and he did. After George met with my dad, my dad hired him and cancelled the other appointments. The move went seamlessly...they packed everything up the day or two before, arrived on time, packed everything and wrapped all his furniture exceptionally and arrived in Va. Beach sitting and waiting for us at his storage unit. Like another reviewer said....Do not waste your time...Hire George and his staff at South Beach movers for the most affordable, professional and truly good natured movers.
