I hired this moving company for my move last week from Coral Gables to Brickell. I was dreading the move but they made the process seamless. They arrived promptly at the requested time with the correct packaging materials readily available. The workers worked methodically and showed their experience. (Side note: some only spoke Spanish so it was quite difficult to communicate) I moved to a strict building complex and the workers were sure to adhere to all of the regulations and be careful in the hallways. I would definitely recommend!

They were well equipped with extra boxes, wrap, and supplies. We have had several moves and Suddath definitely ranks among the best companies we have dealt with.

I work for a downtown Miami law office and am in charge of the renovation of our offices. We needed to have some furniture shuffled around both inside our offices, and taken offsite to storage. Suddath helped us with this, and we even discovered that they have a storage warehouse so we didn't have to rent an independent facility. They arrived on time, and were very efficient and professional. We will use them again once our construction is finished and things need to get shuffled back!

Awesome moving crew! I had a great experience with them packing, moving and unpacking. The gentleman who was the lead for the crew was great. I wish I could remember his name. He is an older gentleman who has been with the company for years. He is originally from NY. He is very professional and gets the job done with excellent customer service and speed! He is the one that earned the 5 stars so see if you can request him- despite not having a name- ask for the older gentleman from NY.

After owning and operation the oldest Moving & Storage business in Manhattan for three generations my guess I should be the one to really judge the services from Suddath/Withers M & S. Their telephone calls never stopped between Jacksonville and Miami offices, before the crew arrived, twice during our move, and a follow up after all is completed. We moved locally from Coconut Grove to Brickell Miami. Both buildings with huge loading docks. Our drive Ralph and his helper Eric arrived with a clean 26 ft. air glide moving van, with clean uniforms and pads. Lots of smiles, with the "no problem" back up. At destination we moved into a duplex with a one flight walk up. Not a blink from this Suddath Crew. We race sailboats (Melges 24) so we had lots of off shore sailing gear. Free wardrobes, even removed our empty cartons at completion. Finally unheard of in this business, our move was Less then the estimate Find another M & S company who does that !! So Relax Suddath made our moving Great ! We just recogmended Suddath to our best friends coming down from Locust Valley, NY to SIT in Miami another large move. Thanks again.

Is it at all possible to go back in time, and take back the worst decision I have ever made? Yes, even worse than that time that I chose to accept the dare to strip naked, in front of the police station. But that's another story. The 3 second summary of this review is simple: DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF MOVING YOUR PRECIOUS BELONGINGS WITH UNITED VAN LINES / SUDDATH RELOCATION IN MIAMI. The 3 minute review? Let's begin. I worked with Anthony De La Torre (Adelatorre@suddath.com) as the agent. He came to the house, provided an estimate, and was very professional. However, the fact that United Van Lines in Miami was the cheapest of the major van lines I called should have tipped me off to the quality of their service. The movers showed up to my apartment, and let's be totally honest here - I am all for cheaply paid illegal immigrant labor, but this was ridiculous. It looked like United Van Lines tried to hire the least capable staff possible. Belongings were loaded, and here's where the real fun began. My belongings were shipped from Miami to Oregon. Which would make sense, if I were moving to Oregon. Nope, I was moving to Massachusetts. Check your maps folks - Oregon is NOT Massachusetts. I spent 5 days calling my account coordinator, Karina Guzman (Agent #483, kguzman@suddath.com, 305.885.8161 ext. 343) to try to find out why my belongings were in Oregon, and when I could expect delivery. Let's just say that it would be easier for you to get a hold of your ex-wife than it was to speak to her. Did not return calls for days. I ended up calling Anthony De La Torre, thinking he could help. Nope. How about the 1-800 number for United Van Lines? Nope. My belongings were delivered with over $900 worth of appraised damages, on a unit that was appraised to be worth $2000. In other words, almost half of my stuff was ruined. Makes sense, since my belongings were shipped to Timbuktu and back. So I filed an insurance claim and...wait for it...wait for it...it was denied by United! How convenient. So in summary, I would find another mover if you want to see your belongings in one piece.

We just experienced our BEST move in 19 years! Initially when I learned that our delivery was being handled by Suddath I was terrified . Thankfully I decided to roll with it and requested a full unpack. A courteous and professional crew of five (four movers & the driver) arrived on time and ready to work. They worked hard and were eager to provide excellent customer service. They left around 6:45 after unloading everything, putting the beds together, and unpacking some boxes with the promise of returning today, Monday, to finish the job. As promised two crew members showed up this morning with Cuban coffee and pastries in hand. I expected them to stay until lunch, but they stayed ALL day. All of my boxes are unpacked, clothes hung in closets and put in drawers, dishes in cabinets, boxes taken away, inventory checked off, and claims form nearly complete! I still have tons of organizing to do, but I'm days ahead of schedule. I'm giving Suddath Relocation four stars because they didn't handle my move from beginning to end and the interaction that I had with the office was acceptable not stellar. If I could rate the crew of movers that I worked with I'd give them ten stars. Jaun, the driver, and his men were professional, personable and took great pride in their work.

Service with a smile! Everything that could go wrong did go wrong when I had to relocate out of state, the one glimmer of hope was this company. Every time I had a question they would always have a timely response. Of course half the time I was running around like a chicken with my head cut off and thought I had lost a family heirloom but the regional (Nick maybe, sorry) stepped right in and got it all taken care. If I do have a move of this caliber again I will absolutely use this company! Recommend to all

Just learned about this company and looked at their website. Seems like they offer a comprehensive group of services that address all workplace needs and eliminates being the one who has to coordinate all services. Will be calling for an estimate.

I decided to use this company to move from Florida to Nevada. The whole experience was THE WORSE! It makes me nauseous to think about everything that I went through during my move just because i chose UNITED VAN LINES. The employees are rude, the prices were otrageous, and it took them a month to get my stuff to me AFTER I MOVED! THE MOVER MADE SEXUAL ADVANCES TOWARDS ME WHILE PICKING UP MY STUFF FOR THE MOVE! It was gross having to deal with such a dbag. Finally when I got to my new house.. i waited.. and waited.. and waited... 1 MONTH to get my stuff! The only reason why I believe my stuff was even delivered was because i hired a lawyer and had a nice letter sent to the guy who made sexual advances towards me at my house (oh yea, he ends up being management or something). Some stuff arrived damaged but I was so tired by that point of fighting with this guy that i was just happy that i had other clothes to wear besides what i drove over with me. At the drop off, they made up some story about redelivery fees. In total i paid way more than expected including my lawyers fees. I wish i had the patience back then to go on with a sexual harassment claim towards the manager but the whole situation was so emotionally draining that I took what I could get at that moment (my stuff) and ran with it. Your move should be non stressful! DO NOT CHOOSE THIS COMPANY!

I have been surprised in the past for lousy service, unfair business practices, terrible attitudes, and unethical behaviour; but Suddath (A subsidiary of United Van Lines), topped them all. I was moving to a new location and wanted to hire the most professional mover I could find. I called United Van Lines who referred me to Suddath, the company that provides moving services on their behalf in South Florida. The salesman came over, looked at everything in my apartment, armed with an electronic tablet, and issued an estimate far above my expectations, but I agreed. We signed all the paperwork, and set a moving date for 2 weeks later. And here comes the surprise: Literarilly the day before moving, when everything was packed and ready to go, and the apartment keys were to be delivered to the owner, they called me to tell me THEY DIDN'T HAVE A TRUCK for tomorrow!!!! I thought it was a joke until it hit me. Had to believe this happens with a national company that charges so much. It turned into a complete nightmare. DO NOT USE UNITED VAN LINES NOR SUDDATH. Save yourself aggravation and money. They are the worse!!!!!!

I have moved several times in the past 15 years and this was the absolute worst moving company I have ever dealt with. Upon the initial pick up items were labeled with specific locations they are going to. Many boxes were mixed up and mislabeled. When I complained the company representative I never received a response. But worst of all after 3 years of storage my furniture comes back infested with Termites and Powder Post Beetles ! ! ! When the first piece came off and had termite residue on it I would not allow it into the house and contacted an exterminator to take it away for fumigation. As more furniture was taken off the truck it became apparent that most of the wooden furniture was infested and the entire truckload had to be re packed onto another truck and hauled off for fumigation at a cost of $3,800. The moving company is denying responsibility stating the furniture was infested BEFORE they packed it up which is difficult to believe since we had lived in the house for 15 years and always had a termite contract on the house and it was inspected annually. Now I am stuck with filing an arbitration hearing that I will probably loose since they state I signed a statement at the inception of the move that they were not responsible. I probably did for they put over 30 pages of inventory in front of me to initial and sign while the supervisor waited impatiently. Never, Never use this mover for they are irresponsible, sloppy and dishonest in my opinion

Suddeth moved us from Miami to Michigan. Tony De La Torre was professional & very helpful. We packed ourselves. Loading went fine. The delivery crew made sure everything was put where I wanted it & that all items were accounted for. But they left huge black marks on one bedroom door & I kept seeing boxes clearly marked "top load" 2nd or 3rd down on the stack being wheeled in. Five boxes marked "top load" were so crushed on the top that I don't think the trip from the van to the house was the 1st time they'd been on the bottom of the pile. Fortunately my packing was good enough that I didn't find anything damaged in them. What I did find later, however, was that our clothing that we had left in dresser drawers had obviously been pawed through, I assume, by someone looking for valuables. In one of my dresser drawers I actually found clothes that belong to someone else. Sure looks like somebody went through more than one family's belongings at the same time & then just crammed things back into any drawer. I think we are very, very lucky that we did all the packing ourselves & that we left nothing of any real value where sleezebags could get to it.
