These guys stink. This was the moving experience from the Bowels of the Underworld. They were supposed to be here on Wednesday to move my Mother. They gave her a time of 1pm. At 3, they were still not here. Their truck was in an accident so we had to postpone until the next day. She paid an extra $75 for them to give her an exact time. On Thursday at 8am, no one was here. She called and was told that they would not be here until 11am. Needless to say, we found a different mover to move her. Do not use these people!

If I had thought to look at these reviews before calling, I could have saved myself a lot of wasted time! This business is an absolute clown show - don't even bother.

Consumers beware of The Apartment Movers, located at 4946 E Hillsborough Ave Tampa, FL 33610. They are extremely unorganized, unprofessional, and demonstrate shady business practices. Spend the extra money and save yourself the stress of these types of shenanigans and having to report them to the BBB. The Apartment Movers of Tampa define "bad business". Rudy and Matthew are both unprofessional and should not be working with customers because they both lack people skills, they lie to customers, they are lazy minded and are incapable of doing their jobs honestly. I wouldn't be shocked at all if this company goes out of business...soon!

Had an appointment for 10 AM to get moved by the apartment movers. Kept calling and calling because they never showed. Every time they said theyd be there in one-two hours. It became 5PM and still nos how until the mover actually turned off their phone! We ended up getting a UHaul and doing it ourselves. Absolutely HORRIBLE. Avoid at all costs. This made the move super stressful. Will be reporting to better business bureau.

Used Apt Movers in Tampa.. Moved couch and love kitchen table and 4 chairs. Also bedroom furniture and 2 boxes with kitchen supplies. Furniture was 5 months old they dropped and scratched pretty much every piece . The lead guy Rio came in started out wanting to charge me extra for things that were included in the quote. When I wouldn't give in they started out by removing all the covers on couch and love seat dropped and scratched them. All wood furniture scratched and damaged. APT movers apologized but would not pay for the damage. Would never use again or recommend Have pictures showing all the damage ...

Awful experience! Would never use this company again. The movers had no idea they were moving us from Tampa to ft Myers.. Their trailer tire blew on the way down.. Had no spare. No one would give a straight answer when calling management. Do not use them!!

DO NOT HIRE for your move!!! They showed up in a pick up truck and horse trailer. My fiancé asked why and they said their truck broke down. We sent them away! The guys looked like they had just got out of prison. I wouldn't want them in my house touching my things w a 10 foot pole. Do yourself a favor and avoid at all costs!

So on day of move after waiting 4 hours, and 3 calls I was finally notified the movers got injured. They offered to move me the following day, but I decided to cancel, and they decided to hang on me. I called back to inquire whether she hung up on me or the call got dropped? She again hung up on me because she had nothing more to say. Horrible customer service

If I could give them ZERO stars, I would. My time frame for service was 7:00 AM -12:00 Noon and they finally showed up at 5:30 P.M. After receiving a call at 10:21 AM that they were on their way and would be there in 10-15 minutes, I waited and waited. I made many, many calls to the local office and finally to the main office in Texas. Lots of stories and excuses, but bottom line is they took forever to get here. We had 3 home addresses involved for pick-up and delivery. Because of the time delay, the last drop off point had to be canceled and I still have those large pieces here. A credenza was to have been delivered to a location by 3:00 PM at the latest. That was not possible. So now I have to hire and pay someone else to pick up and move this credenza. They still charged me for that last stop even though it was not by my choice that we had to cancel. The "movers" had no sense of direction and kept getting lost (even with a Garmin) and wasted about 45 minutes between stops because they were driving in the wrong direction (going North on Dale Mabry rather than South). My husband even had to use his tools to help take apart the beds and had to help them assemble them as well. The last piece of furniture was finally delivered and in my daughter's house at 10:42 PM. I hope my experience will warn others NOT TO DO BUSINESS with this company.

Had a move window from 7am-12pm. They called to keep me appraised of their arrival time and completed the move quickly. That's the good news. The bad: I have a missing box and a damaged entertainment center. Called and spoke to the manager and he double checked the trucks and said the box was nowhere to be found. I also double checked...just in case and do not have it. I let the manager know that his employees reeked of weed every time they got out of the truck and suggested that isn't appropriate behavior. He told me he'd deal with that and them said my only resort was to report the loss to the police....which I am in the process of doing. The box was full of about $1500 worth of DVDs. Glad it wasn't something that can't be replaced. They also damaged my entertainment center. One of the glass doors is cracked and there is about an 8 inch scratch on the wood itself. I'm following their claims process for that. Fingers crossed that they will take accountability but not holding my breath since the manager said his guys said they didn't move the parts that were damaged. Sigh. Not worth the money I "saved". Should have used a more expensive mover. Don't make the same mistake.

Be warned, these guys are awful. We had contracted with them to move items from the downstairs to the upstairs of our home while we were refinishing the floors. They showed up with three guys, one of whom did nothing but talk on the phone the entire time. When they left they had me sign a completion notice. Upon further inspection they did severe damage to the new floors upstairs, as well as the trim and moldings. These guys are as unprofessional as they come. I called their corporate offices in Dallas and got nothing but the runaround as I signed away my rights upon completion. I would look elsewhere for a good moving company.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY...These people are lousy, unreliable, dishonest, and completely and utterly incompetent. I was scheduled for a move Sat Morn 7am...they arrived at 730p (yes, we hours late) after spending hours trying to get them here and at least 20 calls. They brought wrong size truck and to top it off one of the workers was the owners son, still in high school, not a professional mover. Movers were nice however extremely SLOW..... they finished first load at 1130p and asked if they could come back next day b/c they had a 7am move and would be at my place by 10am. I call at 930 to confirm time, no answer, I texted the teen mover and he responded to my text and said had mechanical issues... never called me after multiple attempts to reach them. I called the HQ in Texas and they never answered any of the calls...even sat on hold for over an hour. I am not to day 3 of what should have been a 3-4 hour move..TOPS!! The current supervisor (Rudy) in the HQ office tried to tell me that the items Im requesting them to move were now not a part of the original order....WTF! He is trying to tell me, with an attitude mind you, I have to pay for another 2 hour minimum b/c of the drive time back to my location. I asked to speak to their supervisor, who is apparently the owner of the company: Nils Johnson and guess what...she doesn't take calls.... how convenient. I called the dispatch manager of the Tampa movers and "he isn't in at the moment" but someone took a message and supposedly "will call me back tomorrow"...... These people have cost me time, money, stress, frustration, and I STILL NEED SOMEONE TO MOVE MY STUFF!!! UNLESS YOU WANT A MISERABLE, ANNOYING, FRUSTRATING EXPERIENCE DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE.
