2nd time using the classic movers and they did an amazing job!!! 1st time was 5 year ago with original owners, worked with Fabian and crew. This time around with the next gen... his cousin Ozzie (spelling?) and crew. These guys were legit! Here's why: -Arrived early and ready to work -Worked fast and careful -Great atitude: friendly, respectful & patient! (I couldnt decide how to arrange furniture at new home and they patiently waited for me to decide) -Thorough: nothing was left behind, multiple checks of each room -Meticulous: They made sure everything was exactly where i wanted it! Every piece of furniture or item was carefully placed even if it was siting in the middle of the garage. Overall, successful move! Move out and move in was so efficient! Thank you Classic Movers! :)

We had the worst experience ever !!!! and hiring classic movers was the biggest mistake of our life. I still have 30 boxes to unpack but I thought its necessary for everyone to know the quality of service they offer. I want to make sure what happened to my family doesn't happen to other families . Hopefully after reading this review you will think 100 times before hiring these buffoons. We had made booking with classic movers for 24th Oct 9am. Classic movers promptly showed up at 9:15am, so far so good. One of the guys hired by classic movers seemed to be on drugs and had a belligerent attitude. The first thing he said after entering our apartment is that "classic movers does't move stuff thats not in box" so he refused to take our vacuum cleaners, iron table, big dustbins and tonne of other stuff. We had some of the stuff lying around and we were told classic movers isn't going to provide any boxes. On top of this he was throwing our stuff on the ground deliberately. When we told not him not to do so he said "this stuff is shitty and not expensive so I am going to throw it". Also, it seemed like this guy was on a different schedule, he refused to take certain boxes saying " he had to be somewhere so he cannot take more boxes". He also took nice little cigarette breaks, it helps when you are high!! When confronted he was rude and abusive. Obviously, after all this we called the owner Sean and told him we cannot allow this person to take our stuff and he could also be a potential security threat to me and my family. Sean spoke to the psycho and asked the other 2 guys to drop this dude back to their Fremont office and then from here on only 2 guys will help to move in. This whole process took 1:30 hrs so during this time we were just sitting and waiting. The clock was stopped so weren't charged for this duration. From there on the process went ok, I have no complaints with other 2 guys. But the reason we hired 3 people (and also paid for 3 people from 9:15am to 12pm) was so we can finish the moving in by 3pm. Since there were only 2 people, it took them a good 5 hours to finish all the unpacking and we got free by 6:30pm. We still had a tonne of stuff remaining to move so we hired another movers who picked all our leftover stuff the next day. Ultimately, classic movers not only ruined our day but also the experience and excitement of moving to our new condo. We ended up paying around $1000 and still had to hire another set of movers. It seems they hire people off the street and don't even do their background checks. If you are looking for professionals to move your stuff, I suggest to find another movers. I was also deceived by all the ratings provided here but turns out you can't even trust these ratings anymore. If anyone has any questions, please feel free to reach out to me. Talking about 3 of your guys one of them was so rude that I literally called you to take him out of this job because we were not feeling safe working with him and your 2 other guys agreed that he was rude so please clear out things between you people before questioning us. 3.As far as the packing is concerned we had most of our boxes pack I won't say all but when your guys said they can't do we did it by our own within the time limit so behave like a good firm and don't lie. 4. I don't know about you company but out of the 3 one guy was highly unprofessional , he must learn how to talk to customers . 5 If I had minus rating I would have given you guys that . And I wish you guys had left my work and I would have hired a professional company with mindful workers. 6.Well the truth is In front of you and you accepted it over the phone and that's why you called of one of your guy who was rude and pathetic and ask 2 other to help us. If he was that amazing person as you claim, why did Sean agree to remove him? Think before you respond.

I would have given Sean and his movers 4 stars but when I returned to my rental property this morning to let in the cleaning crew, I found multiple items from yesterday's move left behind. As a professional moving crew, someone should have walked through the property to double check the packing work. 4 kitchen drawers and an outdoor patio rug were missed and they left behind our counter top microwave. The crew was courteous, and very friendly but the attention to detail needs improvement. UPDATE - After letting Sean know directly about these issues, he blamed the customer ... beware ... if I could take away another star I would ... unprofessional doesn't begin to cover his attitude.

First off, I am an Air Force brat and have easily moved 25 times in my life. Now that I am an adult, I have both moved myself (horrible, do-able, but awful) and hired movers. There have been a couple moves with movers where you wish you had done it yourself, but this was definitely not one of those times! Ian and the crew showed up on time, took an assessment of the ridiculous amount of stairs we had, took a deep breath and jumped right into work. It was a team of four for our 2bd/2ba apartment and they took the utmost care getting everything down those stairs into our new blessedly single story home. They were also thoughtful about where all of the items were gonna go once we got to the house. Particularly due to a renovation that has been going on for months at our new place. We had to think on our feet a couple times as we had painters scheduled and we were trying to keep an area clear. My husband usually moves himself and was VERY apprehensive about someone else moving our items, particularly down those hellishly awful stairs I mentioned. But, Ian told him they would be very respectful of our stuff and they absolutely were! This was seriously one of the best moves I have ever had. Thanks again guys! We will recommend you to any and everyone :-)

I met with Sean and Andres to discuss moving my mother from her two bedroom senior apartment in Fremont to one in San Marcos near San Diego. They were very professional and quoted me a very good rate on an exclusive move. Andres, his son Michael and Gino did a wonderful job carefully loading my mother's lovely furniture and antiques as well as dozens of boxes that we had packed. Owner Sean and his crew drove it to our destination in Southern California and carefully unloaded our things in storage and Mom's senior apartment. They were efficient and very pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend this wonderful team for your next move.

Moving from a home that you've been in for a very long time can be totally overwhelming. I don't know how we would've done it without Sean and his troops. Good communication, reasonably priced, friendly and courteous crew and totally professional. We thought we had a good start on packing and agreed to a half-pack to take some of the stress off of us. You don't know how much stuff you have until you start packing to move it all. Sean did admit that we had more than the average household but he didn't even flinch when they ran out of the 120 boxes they brought the first day. On moving day they just brought more boxes, finished up the boxing, and loaded it all up. We had a very heavy, early 1900 player piano that my son agreed to take. They loaded it up and made a stop to deliver it in the Sacramento area, before continuing to our new home in the heart of the Sierras. A special shout out goes to Desi. I had stashed a large amount of cash in an envelope in my bedroom dresser and forgot to move it as they were packing. He brought the envelope to me immediately. I was totally relieved when I realized what was inside. He is a very kind honest person and deserves to be recognized. If I could give The Classic Movers a 10 star rating I would because they earned it!

Moving from one county to another that is about 2 and a half hours away can be challenging to find the right moving company....I took the time to review a number of moving companies before deciding on The Classic Movers. Sean came to our home and provided an estimate. What I appreciated about The Classic Movers was that the arrival time was before 7am and that there were going to be about 9-10 movers. There were to be no surprise added costs in the end since the quote was set for final price and if paying by cash there is a small discount. On the day of the move bright and early as promised the movers arrived. Friendly, efficient and professional! 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 2 patios to Total about 1500 sq ft and a fairly large storage room as well were all packed into the moving truck, a pickup truck and one of the movers was nice enough to offer his car as well since everything would not fit in the trucks that were brought. My husband and I also packed both of our SUVs to the max to accommodate the move since the trucks that were brought didn't have enough space for everything. During the week before our move I had already loaded my SUV a few times to move boxes and belongings to the home and thank goodness because we would of had to make another trip ourselves if I hadn't done so. Not all of the moving team drove to our new home to unload the moving trucks and one car since normally takes less time we were informed to unload the trucks. The group that came to the home were awesome! They were upbeat, helpful and moved in and out in a timely manner. We moved from an apartment top 4th floor Home with elevators to a 2 story Home. The day was hot and there was a lot of sweat and hard work involved. We handed out plenty of nice cool water during the day and drumstick ice creams at the end. Only one item was damaged...one of our dressers broke so the guys suggested placing a small book in place on the bottom corner so wouldn't be wobbly and remain steady. The entire moving process was a positive one with the upbeat and friendly team we were able to have with us!

We did have a lamp broken that we were supposed to be reimbursed for- sent photo & invoice- but that never happened.

Dealing with Sean and his movers was a pleasure, he answered promptly, explained his services snd helped me find a date n time & booked it! I called 3 other moving companies and he had the best deal. Moving is so stressful but they made it easier. The 3 movers that helped me move were couretous, efficient, careful and quick. I will definatly use them again .

We moved from Fremont to San Ramon and used Classic movers. It was the easiest move and the best part was everything reached the destination exactly as it was (Nothing broken/missing) Sean was great to deal with and the whole team who came was super professional. Special mention to Ian for being super helpful.

Have used this moving company twice now. Both times went extremely smoothly. First time (years ago now) I had a couch that wouldn't fit through the apartment entry (it was brought in through the balcony initially) and they were able to lower it 3 stories to the ground without issue. I ended up working with Ian for both moves and he was easy to work with. Will use these guys again.

They were the best. They called in before reaching and were very punctual. Once they reached by home started moving everything quickly and delivered to my destination without any damage or break goods. I would recommend them

I would HIGHLY recommend using The Classic Movers as your moving company. We moved from the Bay Area to Incline Village in the middle of a snowstorm which was not easy and was scary. Not to mention the movers did it all in one day. Load, driving and unloading. Sean and his crew worked hard, took great care of our belongings and furniture. They were friendly and nice. Flexible, great communication and a really good price. You won't be disappointed when using this company!

The Classic Movers offer very competitive pricing and does not nickel and dime you for extras; their cost included padding and wardrobe boxes, which was exactly what I was looking for. He made great suggestions which we appreciated since he has years of experience! We moved from Sunnyvale to Rocklin over Memorial weekend. It was a 2-day move, 1-day to pack and then the 2nd day to drive and move items into the new house. Everything went smoothly, nothing was broken, PLUS they moved everything in so quickly! The guys who came out were great - moved all our 1br + dining room furniture in under four hours. I booked with only a few days notice, and they were able to accommodate me on my preferred day. They arrived within 30 minutes of the original ETA.
