I've used this company twice and will be leveraging them for another move in the next three weeks. Your expectations shouldn't be far fetched. They provide a max of two tv boxes for free. Besides that, they do just that... move. My first experience was moving my 1 bed 1 bath apartment to a 3rd floor apartment. 3 guys (2 movers and a driver) arrived promptly and on time. I had everything wrapped and in the living room except my bed furniture; took them 30 mins max to load the truck before we were on our way. Of course the unloading took the longest (3 flights of stairs) but in all, the move was 2 hours. Nothing damaged but my bed frame was left (my fault did not double checking) I knew the rates up front so no shocker with the final bill. The last time I used The Movers was a sofa & love seat purchase from a colleague an hour away. They arrived at the latter window time but again, took about an hour and 30 mins for everything. I even had time to let them throw away some boxes and furniture from the earlier move. Ann is fabulous & very sweet. I'm looking forward to the next move in a few weeks.

Moving team did not wrap my furniture. Lots of damage. Tried to charge me sales tax on deposit. Wanted me to sign contract that everything was damage free. When I wrote on contact that there were repairs needed Cal called me yelling and Screaming. We are heading to court for a resolution. This is how they load the truck. Nothing wrapped. Extreme caution.

If I could give this company no stars, I would. They estimated the move of my grandmothers home to $7000 and then charged them an additional $1500. That is ABSURD. They assured my grandparents that their belongings would be stored in a climate controlled environment, half of their things were not. They damaged numerous items, stacked large boxes on smaller boxes, did NOT handle their things with care in the slightest, and the customer service was disgusting. And they don't take credit cards. ~RED FLAG~. Do NOT use this company. And if you're 60+, BEWARE. They WILL try to take advantage of you.

The movers arrived on time and the office personnel was very helpful but the movers took the same amount of time to move several pieces of furniture as it would have been to move my entire apartment because they wanted to wrap everything which would have been great if my furniture had arrived undamaged. But it didn't so at the end it was a waste of time.

Please do not employ this company! Cal the manager is belligerent and extremely rude, refusing to help me. Due to improper assemblage, the metal slats under my king size bed, became damaged causing the mattress and box spring to collapse. When I called for assistance, Cal refused to come out and make an assessment to reach a resolution stating they are too busy and I'm an hour's drive away. I'm a widowed senior without a bed to sleep in. All I want is my bed fixed. I need HELP! Please beware of trusting this company!

BUYER BEWARE ......I had used The Movers based upon a referral which in my business is extremely huge. I'm sorry to say they were a huge let-down!! First off, they were 45 minutes late (which I had a strict time schedule to adhere to) and they do not tell you that by their hourly rate of $120 per hour and $120 truck charge, that includes multiple smoke breaks and a lunch. The movers that I had milked the clock extremely well and smelt of weed and cigarettes (Which I don't appreciate them being around my stuff due to health issues)!! After I showed them all we had to move (since my girlfriend and I rented a U-Haul ourselves to move most of our stuff the night before and had it packed and unloaded in less time then them) they moved at a snails pace and took multiple smoke breaks.To explain further, we moved from a first floor apartment to a two story townhouse and it took them 5 hours, 5 HOURS to move 2 queen mattresses and box springs and one king mattress, a couch and chair, two nightstands, two dressers, one chest, 4 boxes, 6 totes and 3 glass tabletops. I attribute that to again multiple smoke breaks per hour, stopping at a gas station/not being prepared and taking their good old time to milk out that clock. I also was not made aware that I would be taxed on their figures (not my first moving/mover rodeo and never have I been charged tax). When I called my contact, Cal, to let him know he stated that they are allowed to take a smoke break and a lunch and that he can see my concern and offered to take a half hour off (Equal to $60) and said that he would call me that day to readdress the issues. HE NEVER CALLED BACK. I called him back a couple days later to readdress myself and was told that he talked to his guys and they didn't have weed on them (Of course they would say that) and that they only took one smoke break per hour (which is an allowed behavior, taking my time for a dirty filthy habit) and that he was not going to refund anything now because of what they said and that he said he had them on GPS. I find it very insulting that he basically called me a liar and believed his guys over me. I then told him that since he stated that he would refund the 1/2 hour that it's bad business to go back on his word and he stated that he would talk to the owner and get back to me no later than 3PM the following day. Almost three weeks later, I still have yet to hear back from him. I have called an left him a message and still nothing. I find it very shameful that once they have their money which they made sure to get 45 minutes before they were done (I was told this is a policy from "their boss") and now they hide and won't return phone calls. To be fair, I feel as though I should be compensated at least half of the move due to the hassle, insult, and extreme clock milking. If milking the clock is also an allowed behavior then shame on you and your company. From other moves in the past, there is no way, NO WAY that this move should have taken longer than 2.5 to 3 hours at a complete top. I still fully expect a call from Cal or the owner to address this further.

BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT hire this company or you will REGRET it! I was left stranded for 5 days without half my furniture (no bed or couch to sleep on) and not once did I receive a call telling me they weren't coming. I called over and over, day after day, and was told dispatch was working on it. The last day I was forced to pay an extra $500 and sign the contract stating that everything was inspected and delivered in good condition BEFORE they would finish delivering the other half of my furniture! I was held hostage! Not surprisingly, damages to several items. It's a 3-bedroom condo that took 5 days to get all my belongings and they had the nerve to charge me $3000! Adding salt to my wound, they left my office desk in the hallway outside the condo (in the elements) blocking my neighbor's front door for 3 days! The worst company ever with very shady business practices. Spare yourself a horrible experience!

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. THEY WILL STEAL YOUR "$99 DEPOSIT"! I had an appointment with this company on July 15th, from 2-4 to move my belongings from Wimauma to St. Pete. We waited at my house in Wimuma from 2-4 and there was no word from the company. After 4pm I called this company and spoke with Ann, the same woman who took my deposit. She said the movers were running late and it would be 30 minutes before they would be headed in my direction. They knew they were running behind and didn't bother to call and let me know this, I was ticked off, but whatever, I needed my stuff moved as I had to be out by the 17th. At 5pm Ann calls back and tells me the movers weren't going to be able to make it because their other jobs ran late and it was time for them to go home... So I paid these people $99 a week in advance and sat waiting for 3 hours to be told they weren't coming because they wanted to go home. I was more than pissed off. She told me she could call back around 10am the next day and let me know when they could head my way. That was unacceptable to me, These people were going to be charging me over $600 for moving all of my belongings, they should at least have called ME not me have to call them if they couldn't make an appointment. I asked if I would be receiving a discount since this was their mistake, and was told $20-$30 MAYBE. Ann was incredibly rude throughout this entire conversation and ended it by saying "we're not doing this job, I'll refund your deposit, but we aren't coming out to move your stuff" 12 days later I still don't have my money back. This is a shit company who shouldn't be allowed to operate. I've filed a complaint with my bank to get the money back and also one with the BBB. This company took my money and never showed up.

I had a very positive experience with James and Donald. They were efficient with their time and careful with our items and their surroundings. As a property manager I have see a lot of movers and moving companies and these guys are prepared and have it down to a science! Try them out I don't think you'll be sorry :) Anne at the office is also very friendly!
