My husband and I have moved 5 times in 3 years and finally made our way back home from Huntsville Al to Johnson City, TN. We used This Side Up and can't begin to tell you how professional and caring their team was. For 2 people we have a crazy amount on things. Including a small storage building. They assured us they would take care of everything as we had a family emergency and left a few days earlier than expected. I spoke with a woman (Kristy maybe) that also lined up a cleaning team to clean our home so we wouldn't have to drive back. Give this team a call when you are moving. In one of the most stressful times of my life they took care of us, going above and beyond.

So I moved many times through the years and never have used a moving company before. The movers showed up and did a wonderful job! They were professional and did a great job. The only complaint I have is I had very little to move and they moved slowly. As a result I didn't make the time I paid for and had to pay more. Also, they charged me another hour and a half for there slowness. Not happy about that. However, everything else was great.

We recently moved to Louisiana and decided to use This Side Up to move us. Jacob came to our home and met with us to discuss details and to look at what we were moving He was professional and very personable and put us completely at ease describing the care his team would take with our relocation. On our moving day, Romello, Delray and Shawn showed up at the scheduled time. They were also professional and personable and immediately started to work. The care they took with each furniture piece and each box was more than we could have hoped for and was greatly appreciated. They were hard workers and got the job done in less time than anticipated. There was no checking of cell phones every few minutes which was so refreshing. They worked and worked hard. They were polite and very caring. They arrived to unload at their scheduled time and took the same care unloading and setting up as they did packing and dismantling. Everything arrived in perfect condition. Even the glass pieces we had on top of the bedroom furniture arrived in tact. This Side Up made our move better than we expected and we highly recommend them to anyone looking to make a move. I used This Side Up moving twice on a move to Florida. We used them to move office furniture and I was so pleased with the service - I decided to use them for my home move also. The movers were on time and overcame a lot of unique challenges that were weren't expecting. One, when they got there was actually more furniture needing moved than we had anticipated in the quote but they didn't let that slow them down they got it taken care of in a very professional manner. Two, some of the doors that are usually unlocked were locked since they came on a Saturday but they were creative and found a way to keep the move going smoothly without adding much time. They got the office furniture down to our new office and unloaded it in a timely manner. I honestly didn't think they would finish the unload the same day - but they did and did a great job at following through with setting up items that I couldn't do on my on. I'm very pleased with This Side Up service and responsiveness. Highly recommend.

Given that I have moved now 4 times in two years this is by far the worst moving company I have experienced. This move was me helping my ex wife move into her new apartment last month and she used this company. To start with the movers are very unprofessional in appearance and attitude. One of the movers asked her for a hair tie to keep his hair out of his eyes. The two movers complained every time they had to move a large item. The speed of service was also slow and I do not mean a safe slow more like stalling to get more time slow paired with many breaks. I would make two or three trips to their one. I had to leave before they finished and the mover that needed the hair tie was hitting on my ex wife and made her feel uncomfortable. She called the operations manager and he never called her back. After she posted her review the owner called her to try and get her to take down her review because he said his men were doing everything that he trained them to do. This company may be a bit cheaper per hour, but will make up for that in extra time spent during he move.

This Side Up Moving moves our offices to a new location. It was seem less. In one day our offices were moved and everything in place in the new location.

Colby, I saw your response of 11/13/17. You fail to mention that I had to argue with your employees that they had indeed left a box and a porcelain vase in my storage unit. It was not until the moving crew was several hours away near Birmingham that I called them, as the storage facility called me to tell me the movers I hired had left some items in my storage unit. The storage facility also said your employees left their personal food trash in the unit, saying she had never had any movers do this before. She also sent photos of my items left in the storage unit to me. I called your driver, but he kept insisting absolutely everything was out of the unit. It was only when I called & told your truck driver that I was literally looking at pictures of my items in the storage unit that he had intentionally left that his arguing stopped. It seems odd to me that if the box was as truly wretched as you made it sound in your recent comment, ...it seems all of the other boxes must have been fine for your employees to move??? If the entire 10x14 storage unit was that absolutely horrible as you describe in your comment ~ it does not make sense that only ONE (1) box would be affected!? The (1) box that was left has sat in the Extra Space Storage manager's own office for the past 8 months. If it truly was something as horrible as you describe to "contaminate" the moving truck ~ I don't think the storage facility mgr would have kept "the box" in her office for the past 8 months. There was no food/ or anything smelly in that box, as evidenced in photos by Foley facility. Actually, the photos show there is one (1) box and the porcelain vase is not in the box. The unit does not look at all like you describe. I wonder the reason the porcelain vase was left also??? I made pictures of the boxes that were delivered to my home. They were fine. Many of them are in my building here at my residence....IN THE SAME BOXES. Besides, I was assured by your moving coordinator that extra boxes were part of my $2,343.00 payment for my in-state move! Why didn't the ONE box get re-boxed as boxes/blankets were paid for as part of my move cost?????????? Colby, you said you were going to have my items that your men left in Foley delivered to me during the SUMMER while making a move to/from the Foley regional area. It is the end of November, and I have emailed you with no response. *Also, my picture from Oxford Gallaries was not wrapped, thus the glass shattered. *My back door does NOT close properly after your worker removed it. *My porcelain vase and box of Christmas items, which are mostly glass, are still in Foley, AL with the storage facility there. My move was MARCH 9, 2017 ~ You have not even answered my email. I say again: The box must not be too bad ~ the box has sat in the office of the manager of the storage facility for the past 8 months.

Best in the business, locally owned and operated. Very polite individuals, professional, considerate, hard working, military friendly. Couldnt be more enthused about using and recommending their services.
