Used them last year. Now to be fair this was our second time using them First time was great, second time a nightmare. We thought we were scheduled but when the day came nothing We called and they said we were not booked. We had everything ready to go and other moving issues lined up. They stated they would have to reschedule at a much later date. Of course we kicked and screamed on the phone and luckily had an email confirmation. They promised to come 2 days later and discount the hourly rate. It was supposed to be a 2 day job First day packing and second unpacking. Nu mid afternoon they still had not done the garage Again we had to kick and scream for them to finish The delivered most of the goods to new house Once at house they left 2 guys to unpack and the rest went back to finish garage Now here is where it gets bad. My wife had passed out from exhaustion and there was miscommunication between my wife and I when the date was moved. So when she passed out I had forgotten that it was a 2 day job Mind you this was on a Friday. They did a half ass job of unpacking. But I was more concerned with my wife. So job was done. Off course they scammed out of second day because it was the weekend. The next morning we realized how bad the job was. We called company back and demanded our second day. They wanted to charge us again!! Skip to now...we are still unpacking Each box we open is a surprise Could be labeled kitchen but we find sheets...the kicker was my wife's college memorable item broken and oil on most of them. One of my college degrees tucked behind tools in a shed. Was our miscommunication between wife and I a factor, yes but the workers took full advantage and company offered zero recourse but pay more. No problem, they will never get our business again. I would sooner hire crack heads to move us in the future

We hired Two Men & a Truck to pack and move my mom who was downsizing her home. A consultant came to her house, walked through and gave us estimates- with and without packing her things. We thought the price was reasonable and scheduled the service. We were told how many people would be scheduled to pack on the first day and the number who would be there for the actual move on day two. All sounded good. Until the packers came- they were short on the number of people and they did not bring enough packing materials. The first day they did not get everything packed so they continued to pack on day two for part of the day. About 75 % of the belongings were moved to the new house on day two. Then the real fun started... we were asked to pay almost $2000 over our estimate. I understand estimates are just that but to miss by that much is unacceptable especially when the job was not completed. We had to go back and forth with the management of this Two Men & a Truck location and ended up splitting the additional costs. They did offer to finish the job at an additional cost- no thank you. I will be much more careful when vetting movers in the future.

Unfortunately I've had to move many more times than I can remember and my general opinion about moving companies is that it is always hit or miss. One could get outstanding service from one company today and get lousy service from the exact same people the very next day. I was very impressed with the quality of work I got from two men and a truck. I had a few reservations based on the previous review on YELP but I was in a bind and they were the only one available. I called to make a reservation and I was given an initial rate of $143 to book the truck and the men (I used 3 men because of my piano) and $143 an hour for each hour the men worked. I gave her a rough idea of how much I had and she reserved the guys for 2.5 hrs. I was slightly concerned that it would not be enough time but I was wrong. The guys arrived on time, introduced themselves and got to work. They were very professional and knew what they were doing. My townhouse was completely moved in a little over an hour and my items were safe in storage two hours into the move. It was a very very positive experience for a stressful time in my life and I would definitely recommend them for your future needs.

What a complete lack of honesty with this branch. I called on 12/11/12 to get a quote to move from Auburn to Franklin Tennessee. I gave Amanda the info she needed. And she sent me a quote of over 2600.00 dollars and stated that we would have to pay the minimum as our load was small. I agreed. She said that they may not be able to load and off load the same day as there men can't work but so many hours in a day. Sounded reasonable. Now comes the crap. I don't know about you but I would not think to ask if they would be making any other stops to load others belongings with ours, call me an idiot but never crossed my mind. Would it cross yours? Well now to the point, they arrived 45 minutes late, no big deal. Kim asked why they brought such a big truck ( not that big,a large u haul type ) and the 2 men acted like they didn't hear her. She asked a couple more times during the load with no response to the question. Well when the truck was loaded Kim told the driver that they would just follow them, now the driver explained to Kim that since the load was so small that they were going to go to Montgomery and then to Birmingham to off load what they picked up in Montgomery and then they would be coming to Franklin. This was not told to us until then. We hired them and paid the maximum amount on a minimum load with no problem. Had they disclosed this fact we would not have hired them. Who wants to take a chance of your belongings possibly getting infested with god knows what or something missing, not me. I called Amanda about the problem and I guess she didn't want to talk about it and connected me to the manager who I believe his name was Rob,Ron or something. I was kind of pissed off about why we were not told of there plans. He told me that it was a miscommunication and he was sorry. I told him no it was not a miscommunication that it is called an ommision of facts and we should have been informed of what was going to happen to give us a chance to decide if we wanted another load with ours, and no we didn't and would have hired someone else. He said he would offer us a 10% discount. Still not good enough. I told him that Amanda knew the day we were quoted that it was a small load and I guess so small that they figured they could load another minimum load and charge the max that who would know. Well we knew as soon as the driver told Kim of the plan, and that is the only reason we knew as Kims plans to follow as there were some quite expensive items on that truck. I called a couple more 2 men and a truck locations to see if it was common practice, quite the opposite. I was told by two different locations and the home office that what should have been done would have been to informe us of the so called "miscommunication". Yesterday after the unload the driver told Kim he was so sorry about what had happened and he has told them (the mgr and owner) countless times that people were mad when they do things like that and it falls on deaf ears as they don't look the customer in the eye when its done so it continues. My question is, if we pay max for a minimum load and someone else does the same. Why would you keep doing the same thing that makes people mad and with that said I was informed that when they mix loads to save time they are supposed to pass some of the savings on to the customer. Well had Kim not been in the position to follow we would have never known that we were supposed to get a discount, do you think they called the other customer and made it right with them? I bet not. It is a pattern with this location, a pattern of deciet and theft in my eyes. Good luck if you decide to use this location.

if i could give a 0 i would company quoted me a price of 108 for the first 4 hrs and then 108 each additional hour..when moveres where complete they charged 108 for every hour they were there that is incorrect.. also they sent two young men that were incapable of moving furniture on there own had to call people to assit them in doing there job...when i did my quote i told the rep that i lived on the 3rd foor and had a number of heavy items so the small men (boys) they sent were not strong enough to move furniture... they also damaged my washing machine in the move...i have called this company on numerous occasions to fix this problem and no has ever called me back..i paid $900 for a job that was worth maybe $500 i moved from atlanta to alabama and it only cost me $1000...I will never use this company again and i will make sure to tell every person i come across to never use this company they have POOR POOR customer service and business ethics.
