To ask to reschedule a move to another day is so incredibly rude and inconsiderate of the time, energy, and stress that goes in to moving. I can't believe your mover actually asked me that after already being late. Don't hire Two Men and a Truck unless you enjoy being lied to, nobody returning your calls, and don't care about wasting your hard earned PTO for a move-in day. I was moving to an apartment complex with a tight move-in window (3pm - 6pm to use their freight elevators) which I made very clear to the their rep Alex Lyons. At 6pm we would no longer be allowed to use that area, which I reiterated to Alex probably 5-6 times to make sure he completely understood that we had to be done by this time. After speaking to the rep over the phone, I was assured that my movers would be at my apartment between 12:30-3:30, but they would most likely be early or in the beginning of that window. Great. No problem. I called twice, once at 1:30pm and again at 2:30pm to find out where the movers were and at both times was told the head mover would get back to me. Nobody returned my call. At 2:50 I called again and was pushed through to John the manager, who said they were running late and were going to get to my house in 25-30 minutes. At 3:30 I received a call from the mover that they were still at least 30 minutes, away putting them at my house at 4pm because they had to "drop someone off" and "oh, can we schedule this for another day?" So obviously the MANAGER HAD LIED TO US and now we are completely screwed. Unfortunately, we had to completely cancel the move that day and then move about 1/3 of our stuff to the apartment ourselves. Did I mention that this was also my birthday? Absolutely the worst because it's Monday and both my husband and I took off of work to do this. So we waited around until 3:30 to hear that you can't move us in. Completely canceled your services and are now waiting on a return on our deposit.

I just had an encounter with one of the drivers from this company. He backed his truck up into my driveway hitting shrubs and a tree. When he parked 2 houses away I approached him but he ran into the house he was working on. I called the company and asked for the owner who was not available. I have not yet heard from anyone at this company. Apparently this issue is not very important to them. This company is the worst. They won't respect your neighbor's property and probably not your property either! DON'T USE THEM! There are many good moving companies around. This is NOT one of them. Unprofessional! STAY AWAY!! Read all their reviews and you'll call someone else!

Moving is stressful, which is why I called Two Men and a Truck. I spoke to Joe who quoted me by just asking me what was in the house. There was no walk through. The morning the men came the driver immediately said that it will never fit in the truck. He called the office to ask for another truck and one was not available. This all took time and I had to schedule another move. Then the guy who clearly did not want to do the work "hurt" himself??? He then was on the phone arguing with the office to replace him. He did take himself off the clock and sat in the truck while Aaron, the other mover, continued to move. I was told that two more guys were on the way, but received a phone call from Alex who said I needed to pay 30 dollars more and he would send the guys who had not even left the office. Patrick and Damian arrived and started to load the truck at 1:30, with the original arrival time at 10:30AM!!!!!!! The guys loaded the truck and we made a trip; they went back for a second trip, and unpacked as it was getting dark. I ended up helping the movers to expedite the process, and the furniture was placed wherever there was a spot and NOT in the proper room location. Overall, the movers were polite and hard working, and I hope they are compensated for their efforts. The move itself was a disastrous domino effect because of the disorganization that occurred upon booking this company. I was quoted incorrectly, paid OVER a thousand dollars and was not able to budget an adequate tip. The bottom line--if the proper steps (ie, a walkthrough or checklist etc) were taken from the beginning, this series of disappointments would not have taken place. We had a few rocky points but everything was handled in a professional manner. Was even contacted by the owner of the company.

Worst company ever. Do not use this company. They wrecked our new wood floors by dropping weights on them and dragging furniture across them. Dented the washing machine, broke lamps, ripped our new leather couches and on and on. Then the thought it funny to leave dirty hand prints all over the walls. The crew never used a single moving blanket during the move and then had the nerve to suggest we were playing them as they were wrecking our house. We only moved 5 miles down the road. Image what they would have done with a longer move. To top it off, they overcharged us. To make it worse they crew "forget" the claim paperwork. I call corporate and they don't care. They wouldn't call me back, they continuously delay, and six months later nothing is fixed. Stay away from them

Used these guys for a move in February, it went smooth...the team showed up on time at the storage facility, wasted no time loading the truck, and unloaded at my new residence without wasting time either. Items were handled with care but unfortunately a ceiling fan was damaged - I was impressed that the moving-team as well as the owner took immediate responsibility for the damage and the repair was done 100% to my satisfaction. If I move again, and I'm in their area, they are definitely my go-to moving company.

Ya, so this company here comes to my downtown St Pete Condo to move me stuff back to Palm Harbor (an easy move) and in the course damages the wood floors and Havertys Bedroom set (Like broke the bed in a few pieces). I took photos and they said i needed to make a claim with some guy named John the manager. After 2 emails and nothing and a few phone calls, i did NOT pay my bill of a ridiculous amount $810 after they destroyed my bed and floors were messed up. Well, they sent me to collections. Instead of reaching out to me to resolve the damages to my property, they send me to collections. Thats cool. I for one will never use this company ever again. They do not care about your property and do not care if they damage your property. Read other 1 star reviews. This shit did happen and will continue to happen.

We have used Two Men and a Truck multiple times for major home moves and other smaller moves and every time they have been nothing short of awesome! Today, Joe and Sam were our movers and they were polite, efficient, and careful with our belongings. They got the job done in the estimated time and were just wonderful. We will definitely be requesting them for our next move. We highly recommend this company and these guys, not sure what the other reviews are about. They are great!

Worst moving company you could possibly hire to trust with your belongings. They damaged several pieces of furniture, broke several item including some of our wedding items (we have just been married for 3 weeks at the time of the move so I was devastated) and our expensive washer and dryer. No response from the company about replacement of some items. Completely dishonest people.

If I could leave a negative star amount I would. We scheduled a move that was 40 miles door to door. When I first scheduled the move and sent a list of all items and an approximation of boxes (there were 5 more), I received a quote of 4 hours, 2 guys @ 120/hr. I then got an email back that they would need to charge me an extra 50 for the travel, which I agreed to. On the day of the move they showed up at 330pm as we were their second move. One of the guys walked into the apartment and said to my fiancé that it was too much. We had moved everything into one room except for the beds. They called me at work and stated that I would need to pay for 4 more hours because of traffic at this time, that it's a townhouse and that they are tired. I said I was not paying for 4 more hours but I could understand an hour or two. They never called me back or went back into the apartment. An hour later, they drove away and that was it. I got in touch with the company and they stated they would send them back and would have another crew join them. Well an hour later, I get another call from John stating that I have to sign for 4 more hours or they would not come back. I have moved way too much in my life and knew I was being taken as a fool. So for 2 hours we were waiting to find out what was going on - and it being the 1st of the month. We had another company come this morning and they did the move in 3.5 hours, not one complaint and couldn't understand what the others were complaining about. So in the end, the new move was so much less and so much less stress. I am out the money for 2 days of rent now, so guess I'm paying it in that way. But I will never use this company again. Not only are they unreliable, their lack of communication and professionalism is terrible.
