UPDATED 08/2019 Wanted to update my review since we had used them a 2nd time. They sent Efrain and his squad back over and they went above and beyond expectations. They did such a stellar job the first time around that we didn't think it would get any better but we were wrong. Their service is professional, efficient, and what real customer service truly is. So happy with Efrain and how he handles our moving jobs. -- This company received 208 reviews and all 5 star ratings from their clients - let me say that YELP DOES NOT LIE! These guys are extremely kind, professional, hard-working, and get the job done. They do this while having the utmost care for your property.... where else can you find that level of detail and service! I met with Eric initially on the phone and in person for the consultation. Eric was really professional both on phone and in person. I also dealt with Rob in operations who was also personable and easy to work with. Finally the movers - Efrain and Efrain JR. They were an amazing team who worked well together and were easy to work with. These guys are super hard-working and beasted out the heavy lifting! We LOVED working with them. All this to say, we are definitely calling West Coast Movers in the near future to help us at another properMoving is stressful, but they made it easy. Thank you Eric, Efrain, and team!

This post is a bit overdue, but I have been meaning to give West Coast Moving Systems a shining review! DJ, Alberto, and Juan were the ones helping me with my move. From the get-go, the communication was easy and prompt. After a 15 minute first call with West Coast, they assessed that the move would in total take about 6-6.5 hours, including the drive. I was initially surprised by this number, considering another moving company I had called estimated less time with fewer movers. However, West Coast really knew what they were talking about; it took exactly 6.5 hours to move, including the drive. There was no downtime even with our 3 movers, so I really don't know how the other company expected to do the move in less time with fewer movers. My only conclusion was that West Coast has done this so much that, based on my description to them about our furniture and the route to the parking lot in our apartment, they were able to provide us with an accurate quote. I was so impressed by DJ, Alberto, and Juan's rapid wrapping and packing of our belongings. They were so efficient, able to wrap our king size mattress in the matter of a minute. They wrapped everything with a Saran-wrap looking material, from our ottoman to our dressers. Not a single thing was chipped or dented when they unwrapped everything. Additionally, upon entering our new place, they put down more wrap for them to walk on, so that our new floor wouldn't get so dirty from their shoes. As a shoes-off family, I was so grateful for that little detail. In the packing process, they also let us use a couple of their wardrobe boxes for our hanging clothes, pillows, and our fragile instruments (thank goodness, because I only bought one--whoops!). I was so relieved they were so much more prepared than I was. Furthermore, they have mad skills driving that giant truck. When we got to our new apartment complex, there was actually another moving truck already parked in the area usually reserved for moving trucks. However, our 3 amazing movers maneuvered the giant truck into a spot that didn't block traffic and also was better situated than the other truck. I still have no idea how they subverted the laws of physics to do that. Ultimately, working with West Coast Moving Systems changed my perspective on moving! I truly could not have imagined doing this all on my own. It took such a weight of stress off me. Thank you, West Coast!

Omg the best from start to finish! Marysa in the office helped me last minute get movers since my previous movers flaked two days before my move. She was so gracious and understanding. She guaranteed me the date i needed to move from Oakland to Los Angeles. They showed up earlier than expected and packed their truck in less than 45 minutes. Antonio and Darnell were fantastic! They took care of my stuff, packed me up quickly and were pleasant and professional the entire time. Thank you again for everything! I highly recommend these people! Affordable and best customer service!

Moving is stressful, but West Coast made the day-of easy! Arranging the move was easy. After evaluating my items they even helped me pick the most cost-effective package. They were on time, quick, and friendly. Thanks.

Well, within an hour of my previous review, Eric at customer service reached out to me, offered his apologies and promised to investigate. This morning I learned that the employee in question has been found in violation of company policies and rightly terminated, and I have been given a partial refund! That's more than fair settlement for my moving day woes. Here's five stars to you, Eric!

Effran and his son Brian were the dynamic father and son duo executing my move, and their performance was nothing short of incredible! Fair pricing, stellar communication, and high efficiency of West Coast Moving Systems made my move as smooth as butter! Never again will I try to recruit friends and family to help me move on my own! This is long overdue. In early August Farzad and Mike were scheduled to help me pack up a truck I had rented for a move to Arizona. They were both extremely nice and did a great job making sure nothing shifted during my 12-hour drive to my new home. They secured everything nicely and I had no issues when the AZ company unpacked my belongings. I would definitely use West Coast Moving Systems again.

Not only are they family owned but they work as a family and treated me and my things like they were moving family. Thank you!!! This is my fourth move in six years - these guys are AMAZING. They were on it from the minute they walked in my door. Armando told me what the plan was and as soon as I agreed to the plan the guys got right to work... and with obvious care, attention and respect for me, my things, my home and each other - helping each other where needed. They work so well as a team. Incredibly efficient- never stopped moving. Checked in with me on questions- but never unnecessarily. They inspected every piece of furniture before wrapping it. I would give 10 stars if I could!

We took to Yelp to look for moving companies that could move us from Menlo Park to San Jose with great reviews and cost effective. We selected West Coast for the following reasons initially: - Speed to respond each time - Rates - Reviews Rigo, Juan and Julian arrived on time, in fact a little early on move day. They were very friendly, professional, and just extremely hard workers. I can't say enough how pleasant this move experience was compared to my last one

We used West Coast Moving twice for our moves from San Francisco to Orange County in 2018 and 2019. We chose West Coast because their price is very reasonable, and it didn't seem to have any hidden cost. And there wasn't! We had a very accurate quote, the movers were very professional, efficient, friendly and helpful. Their delivery to Orange country was also on time and very reliable. We did partial move to Orange County in 2018, and completed the remaining move this year. Both moves were very smooth and we were really impressed!! Kudos to your staff and movers!! They are amazing!!! I would definitely recommend any one to move with West Coast!

Great moving experience yesterday with TJ, Juan & Jose! They arrirred on time, handled items with care and charmed my mother and aunt they're senior citizens....this is very hard to do. They exhibited exemplary customer service skills, professionalism and knowledge on preserving items while in storage. I've used other moving companies in the past and non compare to West Coast Moving. I will definitely use them again.

West Coast Moving did an amazing job with my move. Unfortunately I picked a week with record setting hot temperatures. From the walk through with Marylynn to the crew of six amazing guys, everything ran smoothly. Thanks so much D.J., Anthony,Julian, Rigoberto, Cristian, and Brook, you all were so sweet, helpful and respectful. You really made things easy and efficient.

My move was fairly small in scale, and my new and old apartments were within a mile apart in the city so I was told by Eric the business owner that my move will be a two-man job. I would love to leave five stars to West Coast Movers, but the experience had me a bit on edge (I don't like moving, but who does?). The first issue began after I got off the phone with Eric; he said that he would send me an invoice confirming my move-in schedule with them and a price quote, but I did not receive it by that night, so I ended up messaging Eric on Yelp, as I couldn't reach him by phone. The second issue was that I was also told that I would receive a confirmation call on Friday, but did not get one until Saturday, two days before the move. Moreover, when I tried calling back later in the afternoon to confirm moving logistics such as parking to load and unload my stuff, no representative either picked up my call or called me back after I left a voicemail to them. The third issue I had was on the day of the move, where I was told that the movers would give me a call on their way over to my old apartment and that I should expect them by 8AM. So I get up before 8 to prepare and do some last minute packing. An hour passes, no word. I call in, and a woman picks up and tells me that she will inform my movers to call me ASAP regarding their ETA. They call immediately and tell me their ETA is 9AM. I do not see them until after 9:30. Although all the calls were all amicable and pleasant, and Alberto and DJ, the movers on move-in day, were also very friendly and accommodating, I feel tardiness was the biggest issue that really stressed me out. The move itself went smoothly and quicker than expected after all the pre-mover hiccups and communication lags. Not sure if I would call on West Coast Movers again in the future, despite their friendly staff, but pretty and nice words can only get you so far when you need action, right? Also, this moving company may not be best suited for small apartment moves such as mine, as the base price was $575 for 4 hours including travel time. My move including travel time took less than 3 hours total. It also costs additional $25 for packaging large but fragile items such as TVs and lamps, so I ended up moving as many of my smaller items as I could before the movers came in, which comprised of 50% of my belongings already. However, it was nice that there were 4 complimentary wardrobe boxes, which is plenty for most people (I used 3 and I consider myself as a person with a lot of clothes). I don't feel any irritation or frustrations towards the company, but just want to report things as I experienced it. I would have appreciated more communication, especially if the moving team were running much later than expected, but regardless thank you for your help and friendly staff members!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars because these moving experts were phenomenal. Anthony, Efrain Jr., and Rigoalberto were professional and efficient. They paid attention to detail and took great care of my furniture. I moved to an apartment with all wood floors and they even put down a liner to protect the floors. My scheduling process was smooth and easy thanks to Nina and the move was quick and thanks to these 3 guys my stress level was about 10 times less than it was before. Thank you so much and I will definitely be using you for all future moving needs.

These guys are fantastic. The home office is on top of communication and very attentive. They clearly take passion in their business which I appreciate. The movers were fast, professional, and friendly. They took great care of my stuff when moving from San Francisco to San Diego. Highly recommend them!

Not the best start. Will update after the move actually happens. Initial call and everything went smoothly with a very pleasant salesperson going over inventory. However, at this point, I explicitly asked if drawers had to be emptied of clothes and other items to which I was told that I could leave my belongings in there. Fast forward a few days and I sign and commit to the move and I receive an email that says that drawers must be emptied of clothes. After speaking with a second representative, they told me that drawers must always be emptied. Because of the misinformation, I had actually been packing a lot of clothes and other items into my drawers so I now have to buy more moving boxes and undo all my work. I would have no issue if this was clarified upfront but it seems like sales and operations are out of sync and it's affecting the moving process. I'll update when the move actually happens.

The guys were extremely professional, efficient, and polite. They worked hard, took less than estimated time, didn't break a single item, upfront communications around costs, no hidden fees whatsoever. Really loved the service from West Coast Moving. Will recommend it to anyone who's looking for the best value from moving services!
