These guys acted professional, right up until the day of my move! I had three (3) moving trucks parked outside my storage unit ready to be loaded for a move to ATL. 45-minutes go by, I'm calling the office, calling and texting their cells and got nothing but voicemail. After about 75-minutes, I get a call to let me know 'nobody' is coming. The guy tries to lay-out an excuse their scheduling system failed, they only have six (6) guys working for them, four (4) were on a job and the other two (2) won't answer his calls. I asked him what is he going to do about it--what am I supposed to do? He says he just doesn't know, he can't get anyone to answer the phone. I am stunned beyond belief the lack of accountability on their part and/or concern they had just messed-up royally. I have a signed contract, I had several email confirmations, I followed-up with phone calls a couple days prior to the move--as a customer I could do no more than I had already done. I (and two friends) are standing on hot pavement outside my storage unit with three (3) rented 22' Penske trucks. I consider this a nightmare, not my fault--clearly Admiral's fault and they had the gall to be so matter of fact about my predicament. They knew I (along with two friends who were each driving a truck) had driven from ATL early that morning in order to be on site and ready to go at 9:00 A. Being resourceful and reactive, I immediately got on the phone and started calling other movers and did find one company who could send out three (3) guys immediately, to expect them within the hour (who did an amazing job and were considerably cheaper than Admiral). About the time those guys were at the storage unit calling me for the gate code (which is now 2-1/2 hours later), I get a call from Admiral to tell me he thinks he might be able to send out two (2) guys (I of course told him forget about it, I solved the problem myself. He actually had the nerve to be rude to me when I said never mind). Here it is about 30-days later and Admiral never followed back up to apologize for creating an unacceptable situation. Note: I have all the emails, contracts, texts, phone calls and voice mails leading up to the day of my move, including those of the day of my move.
I contacted Admiral Movers to have six boxes and a large antique armoire moved from my mother's garage to a storage facility. James was incredibly helpful giving me contact info and guidance as far as facilitating the move and storage. If you want a professional experience, contact Admiral!
Admiral Movers is your go to movers in the Montgomery and Tri-County area. I am a local Realtor and I always recommend Admiral for all of my clients who are moving out of the area, and I have never once had one single complaint. They are always professional, and the pricing is extremely fair. Do yourself a big favor and let Admiral make your move for you.
I chose admiral movers based on a yelp review and was very pleased. We had about a three week window to move in May, one of the busiest months, based on our house sale . These guys worked hard to find us a window in their schedule. We packed and unpacked ourselves. I think the price was right based on our house size and going out of state. The driver and team were professional on both ends of the move. Virtually nothing was damaged in the move. They were there when they said and got the job done. We were very pleased.
I have never been more impressed with movers than I am with these folks. Great people in the office and just as good of a staff that shows up to help you start a new beginning. These guys were prompt, prepared and ready to roll. They wrapped up glass and pictures with cloth protection and made sure they carefully reassembled my bed and placed everything in the right spot and the new location.
