I used this company years ago and just like every other review on here they did an awful job. We paid for a move that they did not finish and then stopped responding to phone calls. This is easily the worst moving company of all time. If you value your furniture your time or your money do not use this company.

lll start this review by saying that the 2 movers arrived without ANY TOOLS for disassembly or reassembly, NO SHRINK WRAP to wrap the furniture and WET DIRTY FURNITURE BLANKETS to cover the furniture to just give you an idea of why you should not use ATCR Movers. In working with the owner James, everything seemed smooth until his 2 movers showed up to do the actual moving job sans James......that's when everything went downhill. Both individuals were very unprepared to do the job, arrived with no tools or shrink wrap and attempted to wrap our white antique sofas with dirty wet furniture blankets. Without any tools, they were unable to disassemble the bed set and dining room table, so those items were unable to me moved and remained in the home. The 2 movers both advised that they had just started this moving job just a few days ago which made total sense as they didn't have a clue to what they were doing. They were mistreating the furniture as they loaded it in the truck. They broke the china mugs. We had to use our own trash bags as makeshift shrink wrap to protect the furniture. After reaching out to James several times throughout the day in regards to these mishaps, there was no resolution or some form of compensation due to the terrible service or lack thereof. His overall response was that there is nothing he could do as the job is finished. After spending money with ATCR, we had to spend more money to order a UHAUL in order to remove the rest of the big items which was the reason why we used ATCR's services in the first place. This experience was awful and a total waste of time. Do yourself a favor and STAY FAR AWAY from ATCR Movers and find a reputable and professional company that will be able to live up to their name and move your furniture with care.

Quick to get you to sign up for their "non refundable deposit" in which they take and never answer their phones. Confirmed a time with the owner and then he sent me a email with a time that is 6 hours past what we agreed upon. A week later he still doesn't answer the phone nor return countless voicemails. Keep your money and book with a more reputable company even if it costs a bit more. For the other yelper that filed a complaint with the BBB - they are not a government agency and have no authority over a moving company. In the state of Florida, you will want to file a complaint with the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services as well as the Florida Attorney General's Office. Unlike with the BBB, they won't be able to ignore responding to the complaints.

I booked ATCR Movers to move me a few weeks ago (April 26, 2018). They seemed like an awesome company (answered the phone and sending confirmations to the move). The day before my move I confirmed everything. On the 26th, they were due to show between 9am to 10am and I received a call at 9:30am indicating that they didn't have a driver for the truck and they were working on it. They assured me that they would make it happened. I got another call indicating that they were partnering with another company. I asked did I have to pay more and ATCR rep indicated, "No". The other company showed with a 20 foot truck rather than the 26ft truck that ATCR advertised for & I booked. All of my stuff couldn't fit on the truck and the other company had another job and couldn't make two trips. I am stuck with 75% of my stuff on a truck and the other 25% stuck in storage in which I needed to be out of in 48 hours. I called ATCR rep and he spoke to the partnering company and an entire argument started. ATCR rep. indicated that he couldn't help resolve the situation because he had 3 trucks booked for Friday-Sunday with no drivers for those days either. ATCR didn't try to help at all & basically acted like they had no obligation to help. I ended up having to pay almost double the cost for a move that was supposed to be $395.00. As the argument was taking place, the partner company indicated to ATCR rep. that they had done this type of thing before. Don't use this company unless you want to be disappointed and ATCR couldn't care less when things go WRONG. ATCR rep. didn't even APOLOGIZE for their craziness. They should stop advertising everywhere like they are a reputable company.

I had trouble deciding how many stars I would give. The boss I think his name is Jay lied to us from the get go. He told us the movers would arrive between 9am-10am and we waited and waited... and waited..... and waited... we called multiple times and he kept lying. Finally the movers contacted us and they didn't arrive until 2:00... Not their fault though. The paper work showed that they weren't scheduled until 1pm-2pm. So I'm not sure what happened but I would have been appreciative if I would have been told the truth. Honesty goes a long way especially with me. There would have been more starts if I wouldn't have been lied too. Also, I feel that it should be advertised as $375 and a NON refundable $25 deposit to hold your spot. I was under the impression that it was $375 total, when actually it was $400. Now the movers, Billy and Marcus, I would give a full 5 stars. They were absolutely amazing. I would use them again in a heartbeat.. just not through the Atcr movers company. It's sad because the boss lying and stuff looks bad on the movers when they didn't do anything wrong. Lying like than can affect how the movers are tipped. If I was tipping based on how their boss treated me, I wouldn't have tipped anything. I'm not like that though.. I tipped them based on how the did their job. Not all people are like that though. Please try and treat your paying customers a little better.
