Horrific experience and still not resolved. They picked up our items in Madison AL on 9/03 and put a hold for $7k on our credit card. They delivered our items yesterday and it was issue after issue. We have called two different people, sent emails and were told a supervisor would call us yesterday....nothing. We are still waiting for a response. The movers were rude and if we weren't here they would have dumped everything in the driveway and left. One of the movers took a break after moving an item in - he clearly didn't have the ability to perform the job. Items were scratched, dented, broken - I have pictures and it looks like they threw our stuff in the truck. Things weren't wrapped; they messed up our Sleep Number bed and we now have to wait two weeks for Sleep Number to come out and assess what is wrong. The movers scratched our hardwood and molding around a door (it's a new construction house). My husband had $100 in his wallet in Madison and it went missing during the time the movers were there. The movers took things apart and were about to leave when I asked them to put the items back together and put a door back on a room - they said they didn't have room to put things back together. We haven't even processed how horrific this experience has been and are still trying to get someone to contact us. My husband and I have both tried getting in touch with Patti Mullins or Payton Dillard and neither are returning phone calls or emails.

Completely inept after the initial estimate and packing group. You don't send a 2/3 full truck to pick up contents of a 4500 sq ft home. Driver refused to accept the fact that there was no way it would fit. Driver had no tools or dolleys, and was completely unprepared to move gun safes that were clearly on the estimate. Driver refused to call for second truck, which they conveniently call "overflow", until mid-day Saturday during an Alabama football game (of course there are no drivers available on a Saturday). Original driver who is not qualified to work at a McDonalds finally took his semi trailer back to yard in Huntsville and picked up a local truck to finish loading. When returning to HSV with the "local" truck, it was evident that he had no help unloading it, as many of the boxes and items were damaged (we suspect that they were tossed off the truck, as the items were packed well and many dishes shattered). Unloading, the same driver still had no tools or dolleys, and we had a local safe mover handle the gun safes again. Completely inept. Driver stomping around acting like he was doing us a favor. After numerous phone calls and mis information from even Vice Presidents over the course of the next 27 days, we finally saw our "overflow" shipment arrive in a condition that was completely horrible. The overflow driver stated that the condition of the boxes received were damaged before he picked them up from the HSV warehouse. Yes, many items damaged, not finished fighting with claims for damages yet. If you can, avoid at all costs. The icing on the cake is the fact that this poor excuse for a company can't even process credit cards properly. The entire move was paid for in advance, but they failed to process one of the payments. This has resulted in several collection letters and phone calls. The final payment due to their error was made today, and I received notification of another fun certified letter coming in the mail today. Maybe I should have waited 27 more days to pay.

If you are searching for an organization to move you or your family, please look elsewhere. We recently used this company for a military permanent change of station move from Alabama to California. We were scheduled for two days for packing and one day for loading. When the team arrived, they deemed that our household could be packed and loaded in one day; who am I to judge- we do not own a lot and they are the "professionals". What ended up happening was a race against the clock. At one point, the head mover or foreman, made the comment, "hurry up guys, we are going to get a bonus", apparently for finishing within a certain period of time. The gentleman packing our children's belongings apparently felt that they were not worthy of his attention, and ended up cramming everything into boxes--to the point that he even bent/broke toys to get them to fit in the box. The foreman failed to pack all of our breakable dinnerware/bakeware properly (i.e. standing on end as opposed to laying flat), and packed these items in normal cartons, as opposed to sturdier dish packs, resulting in several items being broken. We even received a couple smaller items that were not ours (sorry to the family missing a plastic shelving unit and plastic drawers) showing that household goods are mishandled at this company's warehouse. The movers were nice enough, the this organization really needs to up its standards.

A family friend had moved many times in the last five years. After hearing their stories and absolute ordeal, I and they have never dealt with a business with such low standards, poor customer service, and total disrespect for personal belongings. This company cost them thousands in damage of their property through both the storing and moving process. Avoid at all costs.
