John and his crew completed a long distance move for us from Sarasota to North Carolina and they did a great job. Good communication throughout, on time, up-front affordable pricing, polite, careful, ethical, responsible, and excellent customer service. We ran into several unanticipated obstacles that added time and complexity to the job. John and Katrina were quick to offer solutions and never threatened to increase costs from the original quote. We will enthusiastically recommend John's Movers.

I also had a bad experience with John when I moved 6 months ago from Lutz to St Pete. John was outside cleaning out his truck during the entire pack up, but claimed that he helped me out by sending a 4 man crew. Which included his 17 year old who I witnessed dropping my king size foot board which now has a chip in it. When they arrived to move me, I had all the furniture dissembled and ready to be loaded to the truck. Yet it still took them over 2 hours to load my belongings. Additionally, at one point it started to rain and they stood around looking clueless as to how to work in the rain. I started moving my own stuff to load the truck. I also drive a 4runner and had to pack my truck to the very top because they were not prepared the way an experience moving company should me. There were a few Items that I was going to leave behind and donate or sell, an exercise bike, doll house, and dog crate. John and his crew asked me if they could have the items - I did tell them they could have the items. When they were getting down to finishing the pack up, some of my furniture would not fit on the truck. John told me I would have to pay for them to deliver my furniture to st Pete and then make the trip back to Lutz to get the items left behind. ABSOLUTELY NOT!. They made sure the items I was donated to them was packed and loaded on the truck and not all of my furniture! What? I also told them It should take no longer than 5 hours to get this move done. WRONG AGAIN, it took them nearly 3.5 hours to load the truck. Upon delivery, all my food that I packed up was spoiled because it sat on the truck for too long. The crew ate the food out of the box and threw the trash in my yard . RUDE! They broke my son's dresser, tore up my front yard with tire marks, trash all over the yard and when they did make the trip back to Lutz they did not grab all the rest of my possessions. ARE YOU KIDDING ME, so you make the trip all the way back to my house and only chose to grab a few of the items. When I spoke with John and Katrina (his ex wife) about my concerns about the broken furniture and my yard being tore up, she told me John would come make it right. They tried to charge me almost 1000 dollars for this headache, Not a chance in hell! We agreed on 850 and took them almost 12 hours to move my furniture (3 bed room house). John told me that he just wanted to make sure that I left him a good yelp review. Here we are 6 months later and they have yet to apologize or fix the mess and John here is your yelp review. I would RUN and not recommend them to ANYONE EVER

1 day before our scheduled move they called an canceled. We were told that the owner John was admitted to the hospital. I questioned why the crew they had scheduled could not do the job without him, and I was told because they were the most inexperienced crew and the owner needed to be there. During the scheduling process I did request a copy of their insurance as well, and was questioned why I needed it. As a consumer I believe it is important to verify a moving company is insured like they say they are. I verified the move date 1 week, and 2 days prior. We must be out of the home on the 30th and being the end of the month I had to scramble to find a replacement.

Johns movers are by far the best and reasonable moving company out there. They handle all my items and furniture with with care. They were were on time for our scheduled appointment and what has taken in the past 8 hours to do they completed in half the time. The team that came out to do the job were very friendly and respectful. I will recommend this company to any of my friends that are moving.

Thank you John for helping to relocate my house full of furniture into storage on short notice! I had such a bad experience with a national company that I wanted someone who was going to care about their work and your team fit the bill! Watching you guys take the time to actually plan how to move each piece, immediately put me at ease. I've moved quite a few times in the last 4 years since I sold my longtime home and each company I've used didn't do things as professionally as yours. Your price - your efficiency was terrific. Consider me already booked for July when our home is done and we have to move again -
