We hired Mid-South Moving INc to move us from Lexington, AL to Rogersville, AL, on 10/16 & 17/2017 after he came and observed what we would be moving in the house. He told me that if everything wasn't boxed that they would finish it. This was a mistake. They did box but no labels as to the contents, and if they did happen to label it, it was wrong many times. I had packed and labeled many boxes myself with the contents and the room to which it was to go. They did not pay attention to the labels I had attached so therefore, I am still searching for some of the kitchen boxes that were labeled and unloaded and stacked among my husbands shop tools, etc. I sew and my cutting table was turned upside down and my good scissors were tumbled out and laying below. They damaged our freezer at the back with the strap that was too tight. This we did not mention. They put tape around our glass top picnic table so it would not get broken. I did not know about the tape until the next day about noon when the hot sun was beaming down and looked out and saw the tape. I went out to get it off and it would not come off, just tore into strips leaving a mess on the table. I contacted Brian Bodkin, the owner, and he said that they forgot to take the tape off. I asked him to come clean up my table getting the tape and residue off and he agreed to do that. But he has not. So please beware before hiring this company to move you.

I hired MidSouth a few years ago and spoke to the owner several times before I hired them. I thought I had a clear understanding of what they would do and how they would protect my furniture from damage. During my move, they damaged my furniture and had excuses as to why they would not cover the damage. Sometimes, they would even lie and say the damage was already there before they had touched it. The workers have been coached to deny damage. They do not want to take care of any insurance claims. The owner during my interviewing had promised that any damage would be taken care of thru insurance....whatever! On another note, I was traveling down Research Park Blvd and a huge truck was speeding and wanted to jump in front of me to get to the I565W exit. They almost cut me off. I looked at the truck and it said "Midsouth Moving." What a piece of work! They are driving like that.....with furniture in the truck??? Gosh, I am surprised they are still in business for years now.

I hired Mid South Moving and what a mistake. They (Brian and crew) broke and dented some of my furniture. When I told them about it.....they would deny it and say that "the dent was already there." They wanted no insurance claims on the job and I was entirely fooled by them. They took advantage of me. I should have called the police, in retrospect. To top it off, they even stole a few items during my move (there might be even more items missing that I couldn't inventory or recall.) I will never hire them again. What a mistake!
