We scheduled an appointment to have our daughter moved into a new apartment on Saturday at 3pm. The company never showed up or called. No one would answer the phone, or return text. This was a huge inconvenience. We had no way to move her and we live 3 hours away. Please don't waste your time with this company.
We used this company about a year and a half ago. They were very professional and got so much done for us. Based on our great experience the first time, we decided to use them again this year. This experience could not have been more opposite than the first. They damaged 6 pieces of furniture (that's what I've found so far. Still unpacking), tore a leather couch and snapped a tv stand (some of the damaged furniture we are still paying for). They blamed it on "a bumpy ride due to construction". They took $150 off our bill for the TV. They also left an entire room full of boxes and few pieces of furniture and told my husband they couldn't get it on the truck. My husband had no way to retrieve all of these things by the time we had to be out of the old place, so the movers asked for a tip in exchange for making an additional trip. He had no choice but to "tip" them if we wanted our things. When I called to speak with the manager (Barrett) he apologized and offered nothing to make it right. I asked to speak to the owner of the company. I was given his wife's phone number so she could let me know when he would be available to speak with. I have not heard from either of them and also now can't get in touch with Barrett. This is one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever paid for. I would never use them again.
My husband hired this company to move us to our new home. Unfortunately I was less than pleased. Firstly, our furniture was wrapped and yet somehow they still managed to scratch some items. I'm not sure if they used covers for doorways or what equipment was used, if any. Secondly, I labeled 95-98% of my boxes. I did that 1) so that the movers would know where to put things, and 2) because I'm 9 months pregnant and needed things easily accessible when I went to put them up! Some boxes were in their correct areas but there were LOTS that were just in the living room hanging out. I can accept the few boxes not labeled being in the living room. I can't complain about those. Lastly, my husband cannot find his wedding band or his AirPods! He is meticulous about placing his belongings in specific places so he hardly ever canNOT find something. He placed his band in his jewelry box. His AirPods he sat on the mantle; of which neither place should have been tampered with! When I called the business about the ring, I was told by 2 different individuals I'd get a follow up call but I'm still waiting on that almost a week later. I'm just completely upset by the entire experience. We try not to think about it. Remember folks, you get what you pay for! And these fellas were very reasonable. Take your hard earned $$$ elsewhere.
